4th month of clomid and no pregnancy!

Not to mention that DH has had a semen analysis that came back normal and I had na HSG done that came back normal.  What is going on here!?

I'm on day 30 of this cycle and have tested negative (well, I didnt test today but I did yesterday) so I dont have much hope.  I have zero symptoms so I guess I'm just waiting for af to arrive.

My regular OB will only let me do clomid fo 2 more months, then I'll have to go to a fertility specialist.  I have my appointment set, but couldnt get in until APRIL!  So, I guess I'll just do the last 2 months of clomid and then see what the fertility spec. wants us to do.  I'm assuming an IUI is the next step, but I dont know how we'll afford all of that...

Anyway, does anyone else have any experience with clomid not working?  Or working after 4 or 5 months of using it?

Just another side note--this would be my second pregnancy.  I have a 22 month old son who was conceived naturally.  We actually werent even trying when I got pregnant with him...it just happened!

I am in the same boat - stopped counting on how many months of clomid.  My gyn will keep me on it as long as i want - since i am on such a low dose and it is working to make me ovulate.  I had first trigger shot and IUI thru his office this month.  tested today and BFN - also AF showed up.  Will prob do another month of clomid/trigger and hold off on the IUI - its $600 incl the semen prep - so it is getting $$. We havea  22 mo old - so it is very frustrating to be considered unexplained.  My gyn said our DD was prob a fluke - nice, huh......

No, I havent had any sort of surgery to rule out endometriosis.  But, is that the only way to diagnose it?

I'm not too worried about thinning my endometrium--I take estradiol as part of my fertility treatment and that's used to bulk-up the lining of the uterus before ovulation.  I also use progesterone suppositories during my LP.

So, I dont know what's going on here--especially since I already have a child!  I never thought it would be so difficult!  An IUI is possible as long as the RE doesnt want me on any crazy-expensive meds.  If he does then there is no way we could afford it (my insurance doesnt cover it at all).

I was on Clomid for 4 months and by the 4th month, it had thinned out my endometrium so much that we had to cancel the cycle.  Clomid will do that if you are on it too long.  I had to take several cycles of injections (Follistim) to get pregnant.

I was like you (hsg-normal, DH semen-normal).  It took us 5 cycles of injections before we got pregnant.

Have you had laprascopic surgery to see if you have endometriosis??

We were classified as "unexplained infertility" and saw a fertility specialist for about a year before we became pregnant.  Sometimes, it's just bad luck!!!!
