5 follicles

Today when I went to my doctor he said that there are 5 follicles, and that therem is a risk of multiple births but then said if there was 3 they had to do reduction. I was given ovidril today and the nurses said it would cause me to release 5 eggs,we decided to do intercourse instead of iui because of the increased risk, I guess my question is...has anyone released 5 eggs at once and not fertilized them all. I'm not even pregnant yet and now I;m all worried my doctor is going to make me reduce if i have more than 3. Any advice????

I did an IUI with 5 mature follicles and got pregnant with a singleton.

did your husband have a good sperm count, I just did 2 iui's back to back with 5 mature follicles I hope this one sticks.

my husband has a good sperm count...so thats why i decided to try it as naturally as i can get it. I hope your baby sticks as well. Good luck!
