6 days after IVF embryo transfer...

Hi all, please can someboy share your views/feelings about this topic. I had three good quality embryo's transferred on wednesday last week, so it's been 6 days but I'm not feeling anything at all, is this normal? Should I be feeling anything physically? This is my second IVF attempt as the first one failed last year July

Unfortunately the PIO shots do cause many of the same symptoms as pregnancy.  This cycle I felt hardly anything, just a few twinges early on, slightly tender breasts only when I touched them and on night before beta, I had AF cramps.  I thought for sure it didn't work but got strong BFP at 9dp5dt so you just never know!  Good luck!

I am 8 days post transfer and have had a few symptoms, but they could equally be a result of the pro gel I am using, such as slight swelling and breast tenderness. I am praying every day for a positive test, but have been told not to take one by my clinic until day 18, however looking at this site most people seem to test earlier, the suspense is really bad, but I also don't want to test to early. Does anyone have any advise?

Hi charmaine,
I am guessing today is your 9th day post transfer not long to wait before you find out.  I had my transfer on 22/8 also its my second I lots of miscarrages an ectopic we went for our first ivf on 2007 failed this is our second attempt.   I know its only my 4th day but the waiting is killing me and my husband.  I can't think of any smptoms at all but I am praying really hard that I am pregnant with twins as I had two embies transfered.  On the day of my transfer my husband's aunty in England died and my Aunty back in the philippines also died almost the time time.  I don't know how to explain how i feel right now.  Over all I wish you the best of luck think positive as that's the only thing i can hang on to right now.  take care God Bless

Morning all...

piggy2- I have not felt anything at all since the ET nor did I feel any physical symptoms last time.

mehllo - I'm also new to this site, but BFP is a positive pregnancy blood test (BFN - Negative) and BB = Breasts. I've heard that light spotting after ET (embryo transfer) can be quite normal and the important thing is to continue with the suppositries and not to stress...

what does BB and BFP mean? I am new to this site.  Also, as I stated before, I had my transfer on 8/8 and now I am having light bleeding.  However, I have to continue to take my progesterone suppositories until Friday when I get my blood test done.  This is very stressfull.. Has this happened to anyone and what was their outcome.  Good or Bad, you can tell me.

I had my transfer on 8/6 and did not feel anything until 1 day ago my BB started to feel a little sore.  Other than that, I was starting to get a little worried.  I really was not feeling much except a "twinge" here and there.

Did you feel anything last time?

The few times I felt something early are the times I miscarried

Hi,

I had my transfer on  8/8 so a few days before you.  I had mild cramping on 8/15, a week later.  Just lower back pain and thats it, so please don't stress over this.  like you I had a failed IVF in early July this year, so I hear your pain.  Take care and we will have our BFP's soon

I wouldn't worry about it...it's still early. If your transfer was on Wednesday, you're only 5 days past transfer today. I started to feel some mild cramps at around 7-8 days past transfer, but that's all. And some women won't feel anything until well after their positive pregnancy test. Best of luck to you!
