It does show that you o'd for sure, which is definitely good. Some women take longer for progesterone to build up in the blood, too. Progesterone isn't really a good indication of pg, though. I have seen so many women bummed out due to a lower # to turn out to be pg. And, seen just the opposite. I had a progesterone # on cd21 of 50something one time and was not pg.
Yes, though. 14 is a definite o. My dr likes to see it more in the 20's on Clomid. But, a day can make a huge difference on the test. 14 is good :)
- no matter what dose i am on. iIve never gotten more than one. i asked about progesterone supplements and she said I didn't need them...but my thoughts are - what if this has been my problem the whole time we've been trying to get pregnant? What if my progesterone just isn't strong enough to sustain a pregnancy?
I don't see how taking progesterone could hurt. It could only help. I had a progesterone level of only 12.2 wiht an injectable cycle of IUI 7dpiui and I was sure I couldn't get pregnant with that low of a number but low and behold, I am pregnant, but only with one unfortunately. You definitely ovulated so you could definitely get pregnant. Good luck!! I would ask the doctor if youc an take progesterone supp. They had me on them and I am still on them even though my prog. level is now over 20.
Went to see her this morning - she didn't suggest it. She said since I don't ovulate on my own that it was a very good number and is strong enough to sustain a pregnancy. thanks all!
My cd21 progesterone came back 19. I was not on progesterone but after finding out I was pregnant 4 days later he put me on 100mg. I think because I have had 2 m/c and my last pg I was on it as a precaution too. It doesn't necessarily mean it helped, but it didn't hurt :)
