AF after unsucessful IVF

Hi Ladies,

So as most of you know i had a IVF cycle in Nov, was due to POAS on the 22/11 started spotting on the 17/11 tested BFN, so i spotted for a few days and maybe had a day of a heavier bleed not like normal AF at all. Nothing since, I know its only been just over a month (my cyles are normally bang on 28days) Tested Sat BFN, I rang the clinic today and she said if i dont have a period in 2 months to call them back as all the meds can knock your cycles off. Iv had no signs of AF what so ever, No temp drop, CP high/closed, No sore boobs (there normally unbareable a week upto AF) NOTHING....Im just wondering how long after unsucessful IVF did you guys return to a 'normal' AF??

Hi Amy,
The cycle after my failed ivf was much longer, about a week or so. I did ovulate per my temps much later than normal. I think it just takes a little time for the body to regulate. The following cycle was normal. So one long cycle and then back on track. Hang in there, I know I felt really sad for awhile.

I had my period right away...very full and heavy and it's been 5 days so far as opposed to my normal 3 day cycle! I think you need to get checked just to be sure! I'm sure the horomones can throw you off, but i'd think they'd make it worse of a period not no period! I also had it really painful...such terrible cramps more so then normal!

Thanks for your input ladies, did a test this morn and BFN and no sign of AF just yet so im thinking all the drugs have knocked my cycle and i ovulated late didnt track my ovulation this month as i said id take a few months off now until my next IVF appt in April.

Well conclusion to this post AF arrived today.. thankgod atleast i know where i stand!
