AF late but still testing Negative on HPT????

I had a m/c about 3 months ago and since then I've had one normal cycle and we started to try again.  Well, I was pretty sure that I ovulated on day 18.  I'm currently 5 days late and still testing neg. with hpt.  I'm on day 32 now.  I've heard things about sometimes the egg taking up to 6-12 days to implant? Just wondering if anyone has heard of a pregnancy test taking so long to come back positive or I guess it could be that my cycle is out of wack from the m/c.  My dr. office said to come in for a blood test but since my last m/c (blighted ovum) I'm cautious about going in too early, (they checked my hcg levels for 2 weeks last time).  Any advice would be appreciated!

My af is late im on cd38 my hpt keep comin back bfn. But i have been eating like af is about to arrive=) or thats just my excuse lol

yeah, I felt like I was having a bunch of symptoms, a fierce appetite, nausea, and urinating a lot, and sore bbs.  Well tonight I'm feeling REALLY cramping, like I feel when i get AF.  So maybe I am just late and my cycle was out of whack because of the m/c.  We'll see I guess.
