AF while on progesterone suppositories
Does anyone have AF while on the suppositories? How long was AF delayed or did it come at the regular time. I did not last month. AF did not show up until 2 days after I stopped them. AF is regularly supposed to be today for me. Every little twinge I feel in my abdomen I can relate it to AF symptoms or pregnancy symptoms. I am going crazy here!!
I am testing Sunday. Tonight is my last night of suppository and I test in the morning. If BFP, I refill my suppositories. If BFN, I discontinue suppositories.
I still have not had any spotting or any sign of AF. Today I am 15 dpiui.

Well, believe it or not the nurse at my dr's office told me to test this past Thurs morning, but I didn't. I just felt like that was too early. Think I'm going to do it Sun morning. I just had something weird happen though, I've got some brownish discharge going on, sorry TMI. I'm PRAYING it's implantation bleeding. I've actually never had this happen. Now I'm questioning whether it's because I'm on the Prometrium, cause in my last 2 pregnancies, which ended in m/c, I didn't have any type of bleeding, until I m/c ofcourse. I'm just praying that it's implantation! When are you testing?

When you see spotting, stop the medicine right away. progesterone keep the LH phase longer. If you see some spot, discontinue the med.
Hi. I've taken progesterone suppositories for the past three cycles. My doc said AF SHOULD arrive on time & then to stop taking the progesterone. For me, AF did arrive on time at 13 or 14 DPO each cycle, but I did ask my doc what to do if she doesn't come. She told me if AF doesn't show, to take the progesterone until 16 DPO/BFN. Then if I get a BFP after that, to resume taking the progesterone. I hope this info helps & good luck to you ! I hope you get your BFP !!!

Yes I will. It will probably be 4 in the morning since that has been one of the times I have been waking up to pee. :)

well i wish we could wake up and its sunday....i have to find a way to keep myself super busy tomorrow so i dont have the urge to test

OK. So I go to google, look it up and don't find a whole lot on delayed AF as a side effect. I saw where it said it triggered it. Huh???? I am on a very low dose, 50 mg. at bedtime and it is just for precaution I guess. I continue taking it through Saturday night and take hpt Sunday. If BFP, I have to continue suppositories. If BFN, stop suppositories. I have to call them Monday and let them know the results.
Now, I am just driving myself nuts. I usually get up once in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. For the past 3 nights, I have gotten up 3 times in the middle of the night. At school, I do not get a break to go to the bathroom from 8:15 until 12:10. I have always been able to manage that. This week, by the time 12:10 gets here, I am about to pee on myself. :) I start feeling the urge much earlier than I used to. I have not changed my liquid assumption either. As a matter of fact, I quit drinking sodas 3 1/2 weeks ago and alcohol around the same time. I have an occasional glass of wine on the weekend, but I cut down A LOT!!! AM I OVERANALYZING OR WHAT???? It gets better!

So, now I am feeling one minute AF is going to start and the next I am pregnant. AHHHHHH!!!! I just want to yell! Can I go to sleep until Sunday???? I feel like I am setting myself up for disappointment!
