Krista: My heart is with you babes...I can ONLY imagine. It (DE) is a VERY personal decision...one I hope that you find peace with soon. I pray that whatever your decision, you won't have any regrets. I pray that your heart is full no matter which way you decide to go. As for hubby...like Tij said...I'm not sure that they can completely grasp the full understanding of what it means for a woman to be a "Mommy". ;o) I hope that you can explain it to him in a way that won't offend, but because he loves you...I'm sure he'll understand. Who knows...you may be one of those miracles (often times when women have gone through all kinds of RE tx w/o results, they get preggers naturally)...the doctors make "educated" guesses only. ;o) I'm just praying that you'll get 2 lines in 09'. <3 XO

afm..... I am at a scrapbook retreat this weekend, and managed to sneak onto someones laptop.....  I found out on Thursday night that my 25yr. old, unmarried, still living at home sister is pregnant by her married boyfriend.
I was taking it "okay" until I got to camp. There are 4 pregnant women near me, and I broke down just twice on Friday night. Don't you just love all this "emotional and psychological" trauma....
Also, my local dr. has a few snow angels of ours, and we are going to try to do FET in february. Lets hope they survive the thaw, as they were frozen as blasts, and were graded as "fair"

Love to all my sisters. I appreciate y'all listening, and the responses from you all.

well ladies my computer has been slowly taking a dive and today it reached a point where it won't let me open the Internet anymore! It's not letting me take my photos or music either so I will be loosing everything. But yet I don't care right now =) anyway just letting u know all I have right now is my phone so I won't be on much just snooping behind the scenes from time to time! I will post any info about the baby (2nd beta) and so on. Hopefully I will have it fixed by next week! It's justy sign to REST =).

Have you tried prunes??? But be careful, they can be potent...LOL. Also when I was PG last winter I had teh same problem and my DR todl me I could take a mild laxative, but I didn't feel comfortable. I used the prunes and that seemed to get it al lgoing. You might ask your DR about laxatives. I hope you feel better soon.

I bought a Pilates kit yesterday and am trying (AGAIN) to get into shape before my transfer in April. Ladies, I did 10 mins on the ball and was exhausted....LOL.. Of coarse I don't think this cold is helping at all.

We are expecting Ice Storms tonight and tomorrow. The yare already letting the schools out early. YUCK!!!!

You & I had the same idea for Tij & prunes...it's confirmation...she needs to do the prunes. ;o)

Tij: Remember...juice-warm (even better if you can do it with milk) & snack on the prunes everyday to keep it regular. (ha) I'm not down with Laxie's, but you have to decide what is best for you.

I found out I won't be getting my numbers till tomorrow =(. They said it's not stat today.  Ggggrrrrrr. But guess what, my house just flooded, yes u read right! They came to fix my washer that has been out for almost 2 weeks and he said it was all fixed and he was running a small load just so that it will go all the way through one first and left! I was walking to the kitchen and glansed over and it was like a wave coming from the hallway! I called an he rushed back and we spent like 20 minutes cleaning up water and now have fans on the hall to finish drying up! Wow this is going to be a long 9 months

Amberlee - the company who "fixed" your washer has to pay to have your floors fixed if ruined! This includes cleanup, repairs, and fixes ---- that is why they are BONDED AND INSURED.... just an fyi in case you have mold issues later on..... make a claim with the company so you have it on record!

thanks girls, I'm frustrated about the dr, like I'm just some random pregnant chick with no problems! Anyway I'm relaxed cause all is well but as for the floor luckily it's all tile, barely any carpet got wet and it's all already dried! We rent so it was the rental agency that hired them, and we are planning on moving in about 5 months so if anything is damaged (unlikely) we don't have to worry about it! But I'm glad to know that so if it ever happens to our home we own..... Renting has perks and down sides, oh well NO STRESS =). Again thanks and I'll stop by tomorrow and let yall know how good my numbers are I'm so happy! Without a care in the world =)

We are having an ice storm. Suposed to get 2 inches.

Last time we had an ice storm we had no power for 10 days and people were dying from the cold. And my sis was PG and tore her placenta  and though it was her water breaking. When she stepped outside to go to the hospital she looked down and saw blood. Anyway, my nephew came 5 weeks early but v ery healthy. SO it was all good and we were abled to hang out in the warm hospital for a few days. :0) This time CU has been preparing for 2 days and I hope it doesn't last as long. I had to cook on a Camp Stove and we were soooooo Cold!!!!

How is it there??? You guys had more than we did last time, and I think even went longer w/o power. Stay Warm girl!!!

AFM...Murph and I made the decision...we are going with DEs.  Someone on this thread (sorry, can't remember which one of you wise women it was) really put things in perspective.  The bottom line...it is more important to be a mommy than to use my genetics.  So, that is what we are doing.  Now, must figure out the funding (~$13,000--ouch) and find an acceptable donor.  

This was (obviously) a touch decision, and likely the most important one of my life.  Thanks to all of you for your support.  It truly made a difference...

Tonight I celebrate my 3 year wedding anniversary with my wonderful husband!

Greetings and all that good stuff!!

My U/S went well..today was kinda bittersweet..I graduated today...I was realeased to see my regular gyne...on a even better note! Our little precious bean is doing so well! Nice strong heartbeat (150 bpm)..still couldn't hear it, but as long as I know it is beating well! I am jumping (not literally) for joy!! WOO HOO!!! Also jumping for joy because I am once again regular!!! LOL..The doc told me that he is not sure if the "problem" came from the pills or just because of hormonal changes...either way..it over for now...let's pray it won't happen again!! Also, I have become very clumsy...is that normal??? I keep dropping stuff and stumbling over "imaginary things" lol..

Krista - So glad to hear that you and DH are considering a DE...I pray that all goes well for you and Murph! Please keep us posted! You know we all go through these challenges TOGETHER!!! also...HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!

She said she thinks I am about 31/2-4 weeks but the other day (Friday) I was 2 weeks SO is she saying I am 51/2-6 weeks today? She doesn't really seem to know much unless I am the dumb one...... Either way the dr said she thinks all looks well so far. They are having me take 1 200mg prometrium before bed but not about to take any chances and I'm not telling them but, I'm taking 2 100mg in the morning whats left over from my IVF, and the yellow one at night =) not gonna hurt right?

I am so happy for all of you pregnant ladies as well as you new mommies...motherhood is such a WONDERFUL experience. Blessings on you.

For all of us who are ttc....God is AWESOME and we will also receive our blessings...don't lose the faith.

AFM....I have been having sharp pains in my tummy (feel likes ovulation pains) and a bit uncomfortable the last two days. I have an appointment with OBGYN this Thursday at 9:30 am. In addition, I am on CD17 and the ovulation kit is still reading low. Not sure what is going on but will pray and believe all is well.

Us Alaskans are preparing for Mt. Redoubt to erupt. Last time this happened, it distributed about an inch of ash all over Anchorage - what a mess! It gets into the vehicles and air vents and window sills, and doors.....
Been all over town trying to get air filters for our vehicles, and those are flying of the shelves. The closest air filter for my rig is 1800 miles away!

Hi Ladies....

Got my results from my 3rd beta, my numbers jumped really high, that kinda scares me. every time i notice someones numbers just really high in short periods of time, it more times then not seems like the pregnancy ends.....im keeping my faith that either way, everything is going to be ok and i believe that but anyway, maybe there are 2 in there.....

1st beta on 1/23 - HCG 238 Prog 14
2nd Beta on 1/26 - HCG 934 Prog 53
3rd Beta on 1/29 - HCG 4744 Prog 53

What do you guys think? my ultrasound is next thrusday....i only know making the pregnancy, nothing about au naturel, are those good numbers? (when i was pregnant with twins last time, they didnt jump that high, and i lost one at 6 weeks which by calculations, im 6 weeks today [by dates only])

Grandpa is doing great. I am in the process of making him a scrapbook with a bunch of family photos. Will be doing a chronological album - with his Alzheimers, we are hoping this may help a bit.

afm..... AF is FINALLY in da house - convenient and easy timing this cycle - day 1 is the 1st!

Also.... devil dog (aka Delta the husky) electrocuted herself this weekend..... don't worry - nothing to hazardous.... she chewed through the vacuum cleaner cord as I was doing chores. All of a sudden I heard this loud "YIPE" from behind me, and then she ran into the bedroom into the kennel and wouldn't come out. She's okay, but my vacuum has to be taken in for repairs!

And, as for the volcano.... it's still rumbling.... still talking and burping, but nothing spewing yet.....

Ok ladies,
I don't know what to do. My dad was doing so well. Then today I get an email from my step mom telling me he is in ICU. Not even giving me the hospital he is in. He's in St. Louis and there are many many hospitals there. Anyway, I am now wondering if I should put my FET off a bit. I don't know if I can handle being PG and losing my father. What should I do????? I'm a mess and I have been trying all day to find out which hospital he is in. My stepmom and I have always been close but right now I want to kill her!!! She sends me an email???? Not a phone call? Then she doesn't bother telling me where he is, then to make it worse I've been trying to call her w/ no luck. SO I emailed her back asking where he is and telling her I want to come up there and how bad is he. Well, no awnser, but I did just recieve a JOKE from her!!!!! Not a response to my email, but a JOKE!!!! I think I'm about to just lose my mind all together!!!!

Stepmom finaly called. Said my dad has TTP will be in the hospital for at least a week. She said they have him on a machine that basicly washes his blood. Hard to explain. I have decided to wait till the weekend to go, so I can take Desi w/ me.

well i started spotting yesterday, started brown, went away, then last night was bright red, not a lot, but a lot....went away, this morning till now its off and on, back and forth brown and pink, called the Dr, shes obviously not too worried she said that she will leave my appointment for tomorrow and see me then but if i start having severe cramps and/or heavy bleeding to go to the ER right away....thats reassuring!! she said to just rest and take it as easy as possible today which has been hard with my stupid rental place threatening us with an eviction if we didnt have rent there by noon, EVEN though we have been excellent tenants for 3 years, never have had a single problem, EVEN though we already let them know we would have it by friday with the 120 late fee, EVEN though they kept us without a working washing machine a week ago for almost 2 weeks, THEN flooded the house.....stupid b***h UHHHHH......i had to rush to 2 different banks, bull all my unemployment out (that was for grocery's) and not much, 250 plus empty out our band account, we now have 1.57 in there, to RUSH to the other side of the city before noon (this was at 11, and mind you that it takes an average of 30-45 minutes to travel to my OBs office that is only 8.7 miles away) YEAH, that was my morning..........off to rest and not kill anyone, or be sad because even though i am ecstatic about this pregnancy, im scared sh*tless that i am going to loose it and on top of it all, Aidyn was due in 8 days, next thursday and im going insane missing him and im an emotional wreck........

BUT despite all of that my day has turned around!!!! i got a call from advantage, the temp agency the my old job used and they are hiring me directly BACK ON with my old job as the receptionist, which was the first permanent job i had there.......i am SO happy!!!!!!!

Hello ladies.....

AFM....It has been a while since I last posted or visited the board due to being a lil under the weather with this cold/flu (not sure) because I did not go to the doctor. DH was sick with a cold/flu two weeks prior....so I knew all would be better soon.
My OBGYN visit well, dr scheduled me for a HSG appointment March 11 as I am in and out of town this month for my job. He stated he will also check my uterus and ovaries at this time as well. My ovarian reserve is very good as well as my LH and FSH.nI am on CD25 and finally transitioned to PEAK this morning (determined by clearblue easy monitor). It has been on high for the last four days......not sure why ovulation took FOREVER to take place this month......OBGYN said that I should not have started
that exercise routine because it could and would cause a disruption with hormones :(

Hoping...I am so sorry to hear about your father. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.

WELL..............................there is a heartbeat!!!!!!! BUT im not 6w6d, im only 6w1d so it was very small.....i go back in 2 weeks to get a number and a more accurate measurement!! YAY!!! she said that everything looks great though!!! my EDD is September 30, but she said that could change....but for now, GREAT NEWS!!!!

Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes, i must say, we both thought it was over but she said that its probably just caused by the PCOS (the spotting) but everything looks great so far!! WOOHOO

AFM-I am counting down the days, we have 23 days till the due date and today the Dr said that he will not let me go more than 7 days past the due date of March 1. Even with the contractions I have been having I am zero cm dilated but sore as heck.

Well, ladies I just wanted to give a quick update on my dad. He is still in ICU. They have transfered him to another hospital because the DRs cannot figure this out. He is loosing blood, but they can't figure out where it is going. I have canceled all my fertility treatments until he gets better or what ever is going to happen. Ladies, at this point I realy don't have much hope for him. He says he wants to give up. He feels defeated and says you can't fight something when you don't know what it is. I have quit asking GOD to save him and started asking him to just make it quick and painless. This is very hard for me and right now my life is basicly just work all week, drive 4 hours on Sat to go see him, 4 hours home on Sunday and back to work on Monday. As you can imagine I'm a real mess and I'm, trying to just come to terms w/ it all.

I will continue to check on all your progress and cheer you ladies on. After all I need some joy in my life.

Hi girls, i know no one will probably be on tonight but i have been having this problem all day and need to ask....im only 7w3d and i dont remember having these pains this early, is it the pregnancy? my right hip, like the actual joint is like throbbing. if i move a certain way, it hurts....not like ouch pain but like, GO AWAY pain, if that makes any sense!! i know i had it with Aidyn but i swear it was later then this. could it be because this is the second pregnancy? my OB isnt open till monday and im not sure if they are open monday due to the holiday, they should be, but i need to know if any of you know what im talking about....maybe my hips are already spreading? (since i do not have any hips and i mean my waist is wider then my hips, they do not exist, maybe thats why i feel it more? shoot maybe i will have hips when its all said and done!!)

I had a bit of a scare today. I woke up bleeding and passed a clot...I nearly freaked out. Went to ER  and my little one is doing well. I saw my baby moving around and alo go to see their healthy heartbeat again...it made me feel so much better...I have to follow up with my primary doc..will keep you all posted!!

I thought you'd all disappeared.  Just wanted to let you all know that on Friday, April 3, 2009, Benjamin Dillon F. was born.  He was induced 2.5w early due to my sudden high blood pressure, so he only weighed 6lbs. 9oz.  He is now 14w old and weighs over 14lbs.

He's super cute and has been sleeping through the night since he was 7w old.  Hope you are all doing well.  God bless!

We're doing pretty good.  We had our family pix made at the same time as Ben's 6w pix, so you can see all of us.  The kids all love the baby (they smother him with attention sometimes).  My BP has still been acting up since a week and 1/2 before Ben was born, but I'm hoping it will improve with time (never had a problem before).  Oh, well, I guess I'm just getting old.   :(

It looks like your pg is going well this time--I'm so happy for you!  Take care of yourself--drink plenty of water and get lots of rest!
