I just had an abnormal CCCT - FSH on day 3 was 8.3 and on day 10 was 16. I am 37. My IUI was cancelled due to the high FSH on day. I am being told that my chance for anything to work are slim and that I should look into adoption or egg donor. Had anyone had a baby to term under these same conditions or have any suggestions?
I don't understand why they canceled your IUI. I usually had FSH on day 3 around 18 (which is high) and have done several IUI's. I didn't get pregnant, so I am now trying Maca root and Vitex since I was told by others they can help. 8.3 is okay for day 3 since the goal is to be under 10 on day 3. Read others posts, and you will see many women have gotten pregnant with a higher fsh then you.
im not a dr by any means, however, i was told that i had high fsh levels and that is not good even if your trying to go through with IVF. the dr that diagnosed me with high fsh levels was wrong. per the dr i went and got a 2nd oppinion from i only had high estrogen levels. however, during the time that i thought it was elevated fsh levels i did a lot of research on the internet, and there is a lot of good web sites that tell you how to lower your fsh levels through certain foods and things of that nature. google how to lower high fsh levels. my suggestion is to try whatever your research says to do, eat or drink for @ least one month or longer and then get another test done or even get a 2nd oppinion.
