a day before that with no luck. I did a 21 day progesterone test in May and it showed that it was fine (that was all the OBGYN told me, as the results go directly to him), but we had sex
during ovulation I would get pregnant. Now I'm scheduled to do a HSG this Saturday. I have not had any problems except for reoccurring yeast infection, could that have lower my chance of conceiving? We really want a child, but it is taking a toll on both of us because we don't understand why it has to take so long, and I'm beginning to worry about it.

Your response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Has your bf had a semen analysis....? He could have a low sperm count, or low motility or morphology.... all these things can affect getting pregnant. I'm glad to see you are getting an hsg as that was going to be my next suggestion. You could have a blocked
I just started doing that. Thank you very much for your response. he is to do a analysis, but he is a bit...nervous. He has a son who is eight. So could it be that even though he has a son, he is infertile now?
Yes, your boyfriend could definitely have issues now even though he has an 8 year old, especially if his lifestyle has changed significantly since then. You also might have had an infection you didn't know about that could cause blocked tubes, so the HSG is a good next step. You're so young, though, that I'd say it's safe to keep trying for a few more months before going to a fertility specialist...they say you should try for a year before seeking help when you're in your 20s.
Yea, but it's getting a bit frustrating. I think I'm worrying too much over it, worrying that I may not be able to have a child. :-) I worry a lot. Well, I guess I'll find out what is really going on Saturday coming.
So I went and did my HSG today and I got back the results today. I think I should have carried it to the doc first but I opened it.
The results:
Indication:- Primary infertility
HSG - Endometrial cavity appears normal, both fallopian tubes identifies and appear normal. There is bilateral peritoneal spill.
Pelvic Ultrasound - Uterus is normal in size and homogeneous in echopattern. Endometrial strip is normal. No fibroid is seen. the uterus measures 7.3cm long by 3.7cm in diameter.
:-) thanks, I'm planing on doing that. I'm suppose to ovulate sometime this week or early next week the latest. Have to make some time for baby making...lol.
I am feeling a bit full/bloated. And I have been having lower abdominal pain, slight pain. I hope this month is my lucky month. Been TTC since last year Nov
