Hi -
My husband and I are being treated for infertility. I'll be 41 in May and my husband has a low sperm count and low morphology. I saw one RE in September who thought there might be some immune system factor in me related to our troubles getting pregnant over the previous year. He told me to stop getting allergy shots, which I did. Then we changed doctors and started getting IUI. We are currently on our 5th IUI and find out Sunday, but chances are not great this month. If we are not pregnant we'll be doing IVF next. My allergies are bad and I have a tendency to get allergic fungal sinusitis, which is very prevalent in the Southwest.(I've already had surgery for this once.) I had three years of no sinus infections, but now they're back and I really need to be on allergy shots. My current RE's office says that I can get allergy shots during IVF treatment. I'm wondering what anyone else thinks? I haven't found anything negative about it on the internet, but don't want to mess up my IVF. Thanks for any info!
