Today has been 10 days since I used my trigger shot. I have been using Endomentrin (progesterone inserts) for the past 7 days. I feel extremely bloated and slightly nausas. Is it too early to have pregnancy symptoms. Could I be creating these symptoms in my mind or could this be a side effect of the progesterone inserts? HELP PLEASE!!!!
definitely the progesterone....it has all the same lovely side effects as early pregnancy so there's no way to tell the difference until you can test unfortunately.
baby dust!
How long after the trigger should we test because i am on day 10 after ovidrel and day 7 after iui.......I hate the wait and my RE scheduled me for the pregnancy test untill october 4th??? I am so confuessed i have had many symptoms but i am affraid to test because i don't want false hopes......=( what should i do???
@happynifer...dang!!!! :-). I kinda suspected as much.
@BB_1145...My RE wants me to test on Sept 27th. The best thing would be to follow your RE's instruction and test on October 4th. The wait is horrible but at least we can hope until then. :-)
Last night I expereinced a quite disturbing moment of nausia followed by even more disturbing moment of vomiting. After that I felt totally fine. Today I got my monthly reminder for my period (ladytimer.com) and I am so fearful that AF is going to come this month. Uggg, I am being so paranoid
try to relax and breathe....
the trigger is out of your system in 14 days, sometimes sooner.
i got my first bfp 8 days after my 3 day transfer, but my RE didn't do blood work until 15 days after the transfer...
it's an agonizing wait, but no sense in second guessing every symptom since between the stress, your brain playing tricks on you and the progesterone, you will drive yourself mad.
good luck to you!
I got the result of my blood test to measure my progesterone levels and they are low...translation, I am more than likely not pregnant. I am so dissappointed. Good luck to everyone else. :-(
If it's comforting...when I did my IUI and tested a week later for progesterone i had the "perfect" numbers.....and I wasn't pregnant...Just wait and see the real beta test :)
Your progesterone was low even though you are taking supplements? Just wondering because I am also taking progesterone this cycle for the first time. I thought for sure that it would raise my progesterone level, did not know that it might not. Do you mind if I ask what your # was?
@BeeHappy76...that's what i thought also. I'm using Endometrin (progesterone inserts). I am so confused.
@aliaa82...really???? Because the nurse made it seem like it as a result of my low progesterone that I was more than likely not pregnant. Have u had the same type of experience. Thanks for the words of encouragement.
Well, I agree with the others that progesterone levels are not a reliable indicator of pregnancy. I am surprised the nurse would make a comment like that. Good luck!
It's not over girl, when I had my daughters (loooong time ago conceived naturally) I do remember getting ALL period symptoms and hey they are 11 and 9 yrs old :)
The most unbeleivable thing has happened!!!!!! I stopped using the progesterone inserts as instructed by my RE's nurse and have been wating for my period to start. Well it still hasn't started and since I have a massive headache (which I usually get before every period) I decided to take a pregnancy test and got a BFP!!!!!!! i don't understand what's happening but I go for my blood test tomorrow!!!!!!
That's so awesome! I am a late implanter too! Hope all goes well for you. It really seemed like you knew something was up, so I kept following your story. Super congrats! :)
I got the results of my beta test and it was a BFP!!!!!!! Alo my progesterone levels were fine. The nurse said last week that there was a misha p with the results and that my number was 28.
I go back Friday for more blood work. Good luck to all you ladies. I'm sending you all my baby dust vibes. :-)
Congrats!!!! Soo happy for you!! I did my progesterone test again today and they should call me in the next 2 days with it. I hate that they have been low but the nurse told me not to worry! Easier said than done!!
Please listen to your nurse. I went through the same thing. Just wait and see if AF pays you a visit. You'll be surprised at how things work themselves out. Good luck and baby dust.
