Am I over Paranoid

I know im probably being ridiculous and paranoid but after 5 miscarriages and no live births im very nervous.  I did an ET 2 weeks and 2 days ago and found out 2 days ago that im pregnant.  After the ET my breasts were tender for about a week and a half and now it has gone away.  Does this mean im about to miscarry?  Im taking heparin injections and will continue throughout my pregnancy because apparently i lost the others because of clotting....When should i start feeling the pregnancy symptoms and is it okay that my breasts are not sore anymore....im still taking the progesterone.  Thanks for any comments.

Try ivfconnections.com as another resource (the high risk board). There are a lot of women on that sie on heparin/lovenox and they have a wealth of knowledge on it.  I was on lovenox because of clotting issues and they were a great support.

How are you doing with the bruising?

I also found this site after IVF process was over.  I was fortunate that I had a friend that had just gone through it, so I found out a lot of info from her.

I went back to the doctor 4wks post transfer and I was 7wks pg by then, so you should be around 7-8wks pg.  My doc did do a vaginal ultrasound and we were able to see the sacs and heartbeats.  I started out with twins, but lost one around 8wks.  If they have a good US machine and probe, you may be able to see and hear heartbeat by then, but I understand that this is not always a strandard to go by.  Depending on date of implantation, it may not show up, due to dates being off, so don't be discouraged.  You should see a sac though.   In case you didn't know, they figure how far along you are by the first day of your LMP.  I didn't realize they still used this when IVF was done.   Good luck and let me know if you need any more info!

Thanks for the info.....this is my first IVF and I havent had anyone to talk to about it.  I am currently living in Cairo Egypt with my husband.  I just found this site yesterday and ive gone through the entire ivf process alone not knowing what to expect next.  Thank God I made it and it was successful.  I go back in 3 weeks to the dr. (total of 5 weeks from ET).  Will they do an ultrasound then?  should it be big enough to see anything.....is that normal for the first dr. visit since the ET?  I am currently on pretty strict bed rest so im not lifting anything.

I am now 10wks pg via IVF, and when I found out 2 wks post transfer, I did not have any symptoms at all, except for bloating from all the meds.  And as of today, my bbs are still not that tender.  I wouldn't worry too much over symptoms because everyone is different.   And just to let you in on a little info, on ultrasound last week, my ovaries are still really big.  They help produce progesterone to support the pregnancy, so they will stay really big for a while.  They told me not to lift anything heavy.

Are you also taking asprin daily???  Are you on the progesterone shots?  Try not to think about your boobs and stress yourself out.  Are you in accupuncture???   I would highly recommend it!  It helps to move the blood to the crucial places for development.  It is super relaxing too!  Please look into it if you haven't already.  You'll be fine.......don't worry!
