Am I wrong

Am I wrong

I just want to vent a little but please let me know if I'm wrong. I'm 9w 2d preggo and have horrible nausea and vomiting my doc gave me medicine but it didn't help so i'm just wating for when it goes away. My sister in law never got sick when she was preggo and everytime I see her she asks hows my morning sickness and when I say horrible as always she come out and says I was so lucky that I didn't get sick and I hope that If I get preggo again I won't get sick. My mom had bad morning sickness with all 4 of her pregnancy and one day my mom said making a baby and sustaining a pregnancy is so hard because of all we go through with morning sickness and heartburn ect.. and my sister in law says for me it was so easy I was so lucky. Am I wrong for wanting to tell her to shut the F up. I was with her through her pregnancy I know that she didn't get sick so why is it that everytime I see her she has to throw in my face how lucky she was not to get sick. I hardly leave the house cuz i'm always vomiting and her acting like that has stopped me from visiting on days that I feel a little better. Thanks for letting me vent.

Oh honey, I really do feel for you. And of course you're not wrong at all;) You SiL sounds exactly like my monstrous SiL too... she has two kids, while I've been having a hard time just trying to get pregnant even once! She never fails to mention how lucky she is that she had two easy symptom free natural childbirths... bah.

I'm sure you would love to ignore her silly insensitive comments, but if you can't it sure helps to vent here... hope your morning sickness goes away soon. good luck and happy thoughts!!

cheers,
Julie

I so understand. I'm 8w 2d pregnant and I feel terrible. I'm so nauseated, tired, and have a cold on top of that (also have asthma). I just keep trying to tell myself that this is such a good sign, the nausea. I read on line today that you have a much lower chance of miscarrying if you are very nauseous, and even lower if it is accompanied by vomiting! I went to the RE office yesterday for follow up u/s and saw a pregnant women who looked very sick with a protective mask on. I don't know if her WBC's are low or what, but it made me realize how lucky I am. I totally understand why you feel the way you do (I feel the same) but it will end and we will feel better soon.
