Answer Opk

Who has noticed on answer quick and simple ovulation test that on the test line the positive is only half as thick as the control line. I was told this was a positive, but it can be very confusing!

Yep. I read on peeonastick.com that this is still a positive ... the color of the line is more important than the thickness of it.

I used the Answer OPK and got the same thing and thought I was not ovulating because it was a bit confusing.  I am glad to know others have had this happen.

Have you tried checking with  www.peeonastick.com it gives examples of positives for different brands.

I don't know, but My doctor specifically told me they depend mostly on CLearBlue Easy OPK's, that they tend to be most reliable.

Is this only on the answer brand?

Hi to all I am new, but wanted to chime in that I had the same problem with Answer. Only half the line got as dark or darker than the control line and I was very confused. I didn't even use OPK this month (too frustrating). I bought the Answer with 20 test strips. I guess you get what you pay for.. Good Luck

I was going to add (but pressed send by mistake!) I  was told it is the COLOUR of the line and not the thickness that matters.

I was told this was positive also.
