Yes GiGi you crack me up..thanks for the info it really helped! Being put under is what makes me nervous also.

I really hope they find something..does that sound bad? I am so confused why before I was ready for children (12 & 13 years ago) I was able to conceive just being in a room when a guy coughed HE HE! But now we have been trying for over a year and nothing. I did have a DNC years ago after I had my first and I read somewhere that could cause scar tissue. This whole process has been confusing and frustrating. I sure helps to share with others that understand!!! THANKS LADIES!

I had a lap done and it was OK.  I was going out after 3 days and back working in 4 days.  Gas pain was unpleasant.

The best part about my lap was I found out why we could not conceive for so long.   So, doing the lap was the best decision I made!

I had a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy with dye insufflation, and it wasnt that bad at all.  Had a hard time coming out of the anaesthetic, but that was by far the worst of it.  Oh yes, and i got a bit of a bruised belly button.

I had NO gas pain whatsoever, no bloating, no nothing.   The nurse I had said that my RE is excellent for making sure that all the gas is removed from the belly before he ends the procedure.  She was definitely right because I was well enough to go out the next day - I wore yoga pants and a big tshirt for comfort on the belly button region, but really, i was fine.  There was also a small incision above my pubic bone, but it was more like a pin ***** than a cut - did not require any stitches.

I also got a BFP that month, but it didnt stick (which was horrible).  I had my surgery done on a Thursday, took Friday off and was back to work by Monday - 100%.  While the RE was in there he got rid of some minor adhesions on one ovary.  Perhaps the discomfort experienced depends on the extent of endometriosis removed, etc.

Dont worry - it really is not as bad as it seems.  I, too, was terribly worried, and i was very pleasantly surprised at how it all worked out.

Take care, and try not to worry too much.  The worst part is being put under anaesthetic!

I had this procedure 3 times, twice to clear my tubes and once for an ectopic..Im not gonna lie it was hard on me..the pain from the surgery wasnt bad its the gas they put in your belly to lift the wall of your abdomin off your organs..the gas can get stuck in your ribs or shoulder and its very uncomfortable. I had to sleep sitting up on my recliner for 4days until the gas went away. I did have pain meds which helped me sleep..dont get me wrong the pain from the surgery was there but it wasnt to bad..it took me 2wks to fit back into my jeans though..but everyone is different and I have heard some ladies say it wasnt to bad and others who were like me..But all in all I am glad I did it and would do it again if that means i get my little baby..also I have been preggo 3 times within 8 months of the surgery, unfortunetly 2 ended in M/C and 1 was ectopic..Good Luck!

Well, they put you to sleep..then you wake up!.. I have had this done a few times..it's not bad..will have some bleeding after..cramping after..it's normal..They go in through the belly button..no worries it will look the same when they are done. You will be fine..I really didn't think it was that bad. They will give you something for pain..I used mostly for the cramps after.

Good Luck!
