(a day 6) left. I am afraid that is might be of poor quality, being that they waited til dya 6 to freeze it, and then, if it is BFN - the money that is involved?!?!?
im also going for FET this month my 1st IVf failed in July and my RE told me that its a little lower the success rates than fresh.we have 11 embies frozen
I just did FET unfortauntly we got bfn but will be doing another in Oct. Our cost was 2500. Much better than ivf as our fresh was 17000 however the down side is that success rates are lower with FET than fresh. Our cycle was on estrogen
do any of u have insurance coverage? i have Ghi and they paid 80% for the fresh and i only had to pay $2800.00 now for the fet im only paying $270.00. i would check with your insurance if you havent already. they need to do dome digging because they wont want to tell you that u have the coverage. hope this helps. SSBD!
Thanks everyone for your input-- it's very helpful!!! Hopngfortwns08, I just realized you're from Queens, NY. I grew up and work in Queens!!!! I live on Long Island. I also have GHI and they covered 75% of my fresh cycle, so I'm hoping I won't have to pay much for the FET. I don't know if they'll cover another fresh cycle because my FSH fluctuates. I wish I heard more successful FET stories. I searched on other sites and found some, but they are few and far between. Good Luck to you!!! If you don't mind me asking, what RE are you using. I go to North Shore LIJ.
