Anyone have a tight cervix?

Hi everyone. I go in tomorrow to have my cervix dialated because I have a tight cervix. This is to get me ready for my 2nd ivf. The first ivf cycle resulted in a mc at 6 weeks. (seems like the cervix was working the first time around, so I am not sure why he feels there is a need this time)

I was wondering if anyone has gone through this procedure. It makes me a little worried to think about so I am hoping someone could give me a little more about what to expect.
