hey sue,
The doctor that did my transfer told me that he recently did a transfer on a 47 year old she had 3 5 cell grade 3 and all of them took...She is now pregnant with triplets. He told us that it really doesn't matter about the grade it is the embryo is going to latch...don't fret. Think positive and believe in your little "emby's" They can do it!!!
I was like that the first time but I have so many stories that I believe that my "babies" want to latch on and stay!!!
Good luck and keep me posted...I 'm believing for good things this time and I am believing for you also!!!!
REST!!!
mmm, well I guess I'm trying to make a judgement without having all the facts. They were grade 3, but I didn't realize each clinic has it's own way of grading. So I don't know if it's 3 out of 5, or 4 or what, and if they grade up or down... I didn't think to ask because I thought all grading was the same. Plus emy RE is very particular about not trying to predict success or not-he gave us a little pep talk before we went in, about only thinking positive thoughts today, etc. I guess I'll try to stop making myself crazy trying to interpret things.
There was an ultrasound machine in the room and I thought I'd get to watch, but unfortunately where it needed to be for the doctor to see it was out of my range of vision.
Thanks for thinking of me.
I'm back from my transfer. Of the 6 that fertilized, we lost one and were about to lose another. We had 4 that were grade 3, and we transferred 2. I'm resting now. The procedure went very smoothly, but I'm so worried. Grade 3 is not that good, is it?
