Asking for additional prayers...

Hi Ladies,

Tomorrow is my first follicle check after starting Follistim on Friday.  I have had 3 cycles of taking Clomid that they stopped growing, so I am praying that the follicles are growing, and that there are least a few that are in the running.  Could you please pray for me tomorrow around 10:00 am? --- I would really appreciate it!

Try not to worry, most people respond really well to injectibles even when clomid or femara don't work well.  Good luck!!

YAY! The appointment was good. I am on day 8 of my cycle, and I had one 13mm, one 9 1/2, and 2 at 9mm.  There were also several follicles in both that were smaller. So, it's definitely working.  I go back on Friday for another ultrasound.  Is it true that follies only have to be 15mm for Ovidrel on an injectable cycle? I remember the doctor saying something to me during my consult, but the nurse didn't say anything to me during my appointment.  

Do you think the 9 1/2 can catch up for an IUI on Saturday or Monday? How much do follies usually grow during injectables a day -- just curious.

they grow 1-2mm per day.  my re said they have seen 14mm follies end in pregnancy but it is not the norm.    The ovidrel will give could both be good by the final push to mature so they the time of IUI.

Glad ur check went well. I agree follie will grow about 1-2 mm per day and sometime the measurment they give is an appox. anyways unless they do a 3d measuring all sides of the follie.

I don't think I've ever seen a 3-D vaginal ultrasound, do they do those sometimes?

Thank you so much! I have continued the 75 IU's.  I did 75IU's on Wednesday, and Thursday, and I did them myself!!! I bruised myself a little bit, has this happened to any of you??
