At 4 a.m. I got a BFP but I am kind of spotting

This morning (Sunday) I took a FRER as soon as I was done testing and when I wiped there was very light pink mucos on the tp, so I went to grab test to throw it away and to my surprise there was  two lines.  After that I wiped again and it turned to very light brown mucos.

Being that it is Sunday, I am not sure what to do. I don't want to get excited b/c I am afraid of miscarrying again. My period is due sometime around Monday or Tuesday. Do you think I got a false positive and AF is about to show her ugly head??

After losing my sweet little Cooper this July, I just want this so badly. I feel like God owe's me this.  I really hope everything turns out for the best.

well since you are not due for af until monday or tuesday it could be some implantation type spotting, the brown is old blood so it is possible.  but it is very unusual to get a false positive unless it is a chem pregnancy.  if you are really worried about it, go into the emergency room.

Wow! I just have to say congratulations. To me it sounds like perfect timing for implantation bleeding.  I doubt that it would be a false positive especially on FRER.  I am hoping that this is a sticky little bean for you!! Good luck.

Thanks ladies!! I called my ob and got the doctor on call. He sent me in for blood work and he also gave me an Rx for Prometrium (200mg). I am to take 2x a day.

So, I am just sitting here twiddling my tumbs anxiously waiting for them to call. They better call me back today!!!

I am going to test again tomorrow with a digital.  As of now I have had no spotting for the last few hours, so hopefully things will go well.

OH Congratulations! How great is this! I would def. say not a false positive! Did you take another test to confirm? I waited like 2 hrs then tested again, I am a goober though, I was just still in shock that it said yes! I am crossing everything for you Good luck dear! :)

The steakin' blood work people still have not called!!! I guess I will have to call in tomorrow. So much for trying to get a piece of mind today!!!!!

Sorry that haven't called yet. Doesn't it seem like you always have to wait during the TTC times. Good luck I hope when they do call it's good news :) I'm sure it will be!

The day I tested using FRER I was spotting brown. Even a few days later when I went for my beta I was still spotting brown. The doc suggested it was implantation bleeding and was not worried. So....CONGRATS!!!! Turns out brown spotting is a good sign!!!

Doctor just called my HCG is 19 my progesteron is 10, I am crushed. He said it is still very early and we will test again on Tuesday.  : ( It told me not to give up yet.

am glad that you are not giving up just yet....a positive frer and anything above 5 is considered a bfp....i think....not sure of pregersteron levels as i have never had mine checked or at least was not given the numbers...lol....anyhow good luck dear and hopefully you will see your number in the 50's or 60's on tuesday...keep us posted

Could a day or two off of ovulation make a difference?? I was basing my ovulation due to my temps, not my positive opk's. So, I am hoping that it is just to soon.

Did he say anything about PIO or suppositories? He's right-don't give up!  You HAVE an hcg number. Just pray that those numbers double! I can't wait to see them go up!

10 is low but in the acceptable range.  it could still go up and it is very early.  take the progesterone suppositories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  19 is not bad hcg for what is 12-13 dpo.  as of today -- you're pregnant! enjoy it!

YEAAAA congrats!!! thats great news! : )   many many people have spotting esp around implantation time.. thats a great sign that its pink and brown.. not bright red (which can also be normal) all beta's have to start somewhere!   GOOD LUCK! i'm praying that your bean is extra sticky! : )

I talked to my doctors office this morning they told me not to worry. I will test again tomorrow morning. They said as long as it doubles or raises a signficant amount then I should be okay. I am soooo nervous!! I want this so bad!!!


For the last almost 24 hours I have had noooo spotting so that is looking good. I did another test this morning it was light but it was still positive. I used one of those free test from the internet. I used the bathroom at 2 am in a cup and did not with it until 6 am. I also did not have the instruction, so I did not leave my test in long enough. At first I thought it was negative, then the line showed. It says it takes 5 minutes to show, I don't think I will ever use this test again and pluse not following the directions how accurate would my test really be????

Calm down, right???? Please tell me to calm down!!!
