I think I might.. I was debating about September, but some how August seemed like the right time since it will be a few days before my annual leave from work.. So thanks for the Sticky baby dust and your well wishes to all the August ivf'ers :o)

I'm starting my second round of IVF in early August.  Do you know what drugs you'll be on?  I will be taking Ganirelix, Menopur and Bravelle.

I start lupron on Thurs (the day after tomorrow) so the actual IVF will be in Aug.  I'm really anxious--which isn't a good thing : (

I was on Lupron with my first round of IVF, but it oversuppressed me.  I only had one follicle on each ovary, so we cancelled it.

Anxious, meaning you're nervous?  I'm nervous too.  Not so much about the physical process, but about it not working.  Our insurance covers nothing.  We've had to pay out-of-pocket for all the doctor's visits, ultrasounds, blood work, drugs, etc.  I'd hate to spend all this money and get nothing in return.  BUT, I've been taking chinese herbs and doing acupuncture to increase my chances at succes so I have to have faith that everything will work out.  It will work out for you too!

Hi all,
I am new to this board and new to IVF. I just started Gonal -F shots in my first cycle. I was not sure if I would notice any effects, but after only 2 shots my abdomen feels different. I hope that means I am responding well....Anyone else start a cycle? Anyone have any advice for a newby?
