BBT thermometer question

I've been charting my temps for 2 months and have begun to see a pattern, however my BBT thermometer is a total pain in the butt! It takes about 7 minutes before it beeps. I got it at CVS and originally thought it was broken as they are generally supposed to give a reading after 1 minute, so I returned it and they gave me a new one. However, this new one is taking just as long. Where did you guys get your BBT thermometers -- and how long do they generally take to give a reading?

I got mine at Target and I think the cost was about $12.  It works fine and beebs after about 1 or 2 minutes.

I got mine at walmart. It's been a pretty good one. I've been using it now for over a year.(no worse for wear) It has a few bite marks on it now though. I put it in my mouth and fall asleep. Tehehehehehehe

I got mine at Walgreens. Though I did read that sometimes due to time in the warehouse and on the shelf that if it is taking a long time for a reading to replace the battery.
