BFN at 27 dpo, multiple cysts the culprit

I couldnt hold out any longer, got full work up ultrasound and blood work...BFN...multiple cysts on both ovaries, gonna start provera and see if AF can come, probably wont take clomid again since that was my first cycle on it and instead of a bfp I got a bunch of false hopes, no period and BFN

:(  sorry Candice, but the good news here is that you have a reason, & it should be a fairly easy fix!  Are the cyst small? & I'm guessing they are looking like functional cyst, right?

Oh man, that stinks! I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully they'll all go away by themselves soon. I had a huge cyst once after a medicated cycle, and after taking a month off of the meds, it shrunk and disappeared by itself. Basically my next CD3 sonogram was clear.

I think I am gonna take a break from clomid since it seems to be why I have them, they are small but there are a few on each ovary, the dr said they should go away in a few weeks, another ultrasound in 6 weeks, I am relieved though knowing what it was and I guess we'll have to keep trying...good luck ladies, and as always thanks for the support

Has your RE spoke to you about Femara? I could be wrong but I don't believe that it causes cysts like clomid does.

I will have to ask next appt, but I dont want to do any more fertility meds until the cysts go away.....but then i will ask cause clomid caused the cysts i'm sure
