I wanted to take a minute and thank all of you ladies who were so supportive. Unfortunately my HCG didn't raise much, from 221 to 273 in 48 hours. My doctor thinks I have another ectopic
pregnancy and will have another beta done on Wednesday morning, and if my numbers still have not dropped, I will have surgery on Thursday to remove my remaining tube. After the surgery I will have no tubes left, and IVF will be our only option if we choose to continue to TTC. At this time, I am not sure what we want to do, we have already had 3 failed IVF's and 5 lost pregnancies in almost 6 years.........not sure I can go through another disappointment. Again, thank you to all you supportive ladies, and I wish you all the best of luck on your journey.
I am so sorry you are going through this. I wish there was something that could be done to make it better. You and your DH are in my thoughts and prayers. ((((hugs))))
remember that your doctor THINKS you have another etopic. He's not sure yet. So hold on to your faith at least until you are given a definitely YES that you are having another etopic. I PRAY THIS OVER TURNS FOR YOU and your numbers are what they need to be by tomorrow. BABY DUST
IE- I went to three different DOCS and all suggested I remove my damaged tubes prior to IVF to prevent etopic pregnancies. I just got my tubes removed on Friday to go forward with IVF.
Thank you all so much for your support and good wishes. Late last night I did some research and have decided that unless they can give me proof that the pregnancy is in the tube, I will not allow them to do the surgery, slow rising HCG is not reason enough. With most of information I found, the probablility of miscarrying is very high even if it's not in the tube, but, I don't want them to "think" there is an ectopic
, take out my only tube only to find out it was actually in my uterus. I will do as many blood tests and ultrasounds as they need, and if they can show me for sure it's ectopic
than I will be more than happy to do the surgery. I will update after my results are in tomorrow. Thank you again for all of your support. Take care ladies!
and surgery June 26th..My Doc was able to save my tube..I hope that yours can be saved to! As far as the Beta goes...Mine was rising normaly every 48hrs...and by the day of surgery it was where it should be for 6wks 2days...So I dont think beta's tell the whole story! Good Luck to you! Please keep us posted!
