BLEEDING BEFORE PERIOD...implantation? PLEASE HELP

I posted this in the wrong forum earlier.  I had sex on day 6.  I ovulated on day 10.  I had pink and brown spotting on day 20.  On day 21 and 22, more brown spotting only when I wiped.  Today is day 23 and there is more dark brown spotting when I use the bathroom.  It is stringy and thick, almost stretchy and mucus- like.  I have no cramps or any symptoms that I would normally get before my period.  My cycles are usually around 26 days and I usually spot one day with the full on bleeding the next day.  I did an EPT this morning which came back negative.  I know that the chances of me being pregnant are slim, but this bleeding is abnormal for me.  Can anyone please describe implantation bleeding in detail?  how long it lasts, how much there should be, the consistency of the blood, any accompanying symptoms... Thank You

I would suspect implantation bleeding if it occurs a bit earlier than expected, if it were scanty, spotty, pinkish and not red and heavy like a period, and does not follow the normal pattern of a period (light to heavy to light).  The BBT should remain elevated and not decline to preovulatory levels.

There is often the feeling that it is a period with light cramps and bloating, but the bleeding is shorter, lighter and just not normal.

If your AF is usually regular, and now all of a sudden develops this type of early spotting, and of course is "at risk" for a pregnancy, I would strongly suspect conception.... (I got this information straight from my preg book!)

ye jaggie right I've had Implantation bleeding and she just explained it al right ye mine was pink it was stringy in my period only happened once in a day that was all. I got belly ache after that. I got it 2 weeks before my period which I'm sure before I got Implantation bleeding my periods were irregular but the thing is I received my period 2 weeks later which was strange I guess I'm not pregnant cause If I am I would be a few Months pregnant and not know. Did any1 have a period while pregnant and did you get Implantation bleeding  at the beginning I heard it means it your 4th week in pregnancy when you get Implantation bleeding so confusing I'm not sure If that's right.  I don't want to get rushed to hospital and find out I'm going in labour in a few months and not know that I was pregnant it be funny in a way I'm only 16 years old as well and I'm not with my boyfriend no more my periods have a little pattern like some people who have a 28 cycle ye eg mine like take 3 from the number of days it takes to come on like june 35 days july 32 days august 29 days its really weird

this has really helped. gosh i'm so scared. i'm getting the exact same symptoms. i'm getting a blood test result next week. i dont know who to talk to.  or anything!!
i really hope i'm not pregnant.

I had spotting of a pinkish colour on 7dpo about a week before my period is due, which was unusual for me, for about a day, then went away for a day, had odd pulling pains in lower abdomen on one side then the other, had sore boobs, very hungry mood swings, i just found out 2 days ago that i am indeed pregnant!! so sounds promising for you, good luck x

I have polycystic ovary syndrome and my period comes whenever it wants to. Ive been having unprotected sex and Ive had dark brown discharge for 3 days now. I dont know what to think, I dont know if I could be pregnant or not. PLEASE HELP!!!
