BPT results

Hello everybody.  I got my results back today and they were BFN.  I am not totally surprised; it has been 16 days since my transfer and all my HPT were BFN.  I am a little sad but I know that I am blessed to even be able to try IVF.  I will try again but not for a few months.  I am going to enjoy the summer and go on vacation.  Kim, I hope this doesn't discourage you, I am praying that Wednesday you get your BFP.  Chris, I hope your news today is better than mine.  I wish you all the best of luck and I will check back to see everybody elses results.  Good Luck!!

Hey Girl, I am so sorry. I know this is a huge let down for you.The only thing I know is you can try again and that is great news and your waiting is over atleast.I dont have high hopes of this working either so when if I find out it is negative I will just know I can try again. I hope we will stay in touch. I appreciate all the encouragement you have given me through this .I am glad you are going to take a vacation you deserve it you and your husband both have been through a big ordeal. I have read in my infertility books that if you fail the first IVF cycle than they have a better window into your treatment next time. If you ever need someone to talk to I am here . Hey Kim.  I do plan to stay in touch.  I am still waiting to see your results.  Don't let my let down be the end of your hope.  I feel like I let down DH more than myself.  He had kind of got excited about the whole thing.  We haven't talked much about it today.  He says we already knew that I wasn't but he came home early from a golf tournament to hear the results.  He would never leave golf unless he was excited believe me.  LOL.  Anyway, keep writing so I will know what is going on with you.  Have you taken any HPT?  I haven't heard you say.  If you have not than you have a lot more willpower than me.

llenda, Hey girl I will let you know my results. You keep your head up and know you have been through a tough road and did finish. You didnt let your husband down ,but I will feel the same way due to I am the one with the problem. I have not taken a Hpt due to the fact I have been pregnant before and was so nauseated. If I was you though I would ask my doctor when I did go back about the spotting and cramping. I hope everything gets better for you.At this point I just hate the waiting and want to know the answer one way or another. I glad your gonna keep in touch. Talk with you later.Cheer up there is always hope for the future.

I agree with everything you said. I will be doing this again too if it dont work,but I am praying. You are right we need to stick togeather . I will let you guys know the verdict tomorow and thanks for your prayers. Atleast I will be out of the wait. Talk with you later. Kim

Hey this is when we have to stick together and support each other. And llenda you're so so right we are blessed to try again. 2 better be my lucky number because I won't be able to do IVF again if #2 fails. I am taking a few months off too. Plus I need to save some more money. DH isin't thrilled about trying again he actually thinks I'll get pregnant naturally as if I am 39 with 1 tube blocked fibroids and a high FSH I only had 5 eggs and only 2 fertilized so I must try IVF again.

Hopefully they try a different mix of medicines and I produce more eggs or something cause this is it for me. KIM hang in there you might be lucky #3 we didn't get a BFP but hopefully you will. I have you in my prayers.

llenda Let  me know when you plan to go at it again maybe we'll be doing it the same time. Take care ladies and lots of baby dust to us all.........

sorry i couldn't get back to you earlier...i took yesterday off to be with DW and just spend some time together after the results late Monday.  I appreciate your support and thoughtfullness...you have our prayers as well for success and I think we all agree that we just need to keep trying and eventually god things will happen!  Please stay in touch and let me know how things are going.  Send me your email address and I can email you directly if you prefer.  If not, we can keep it on the board.  Stay strong!
