Baby Asprin and Lining

On an old post I came across, someone had mentioned baby asprin to increase lining thicknes.  I am 2dpoIUI.  When I had my scan Monday, RE did not give me a thickness but said "lining looks a little thin".  In previous cycles she had said it was nice and thick, but did not give a number.  Has any one been told to take baby asprin by RE or is it one of the "myths" out there?  Should I stop and get some after work?  If you are taking baby asprin, did dr. tell you to or did you just start taking it?? Any info would be appreciated!

I am taking baby aspirin and am 23 weeks pregnant. I had two early term m/c's and in testing it was discovered I too have a blood clotting issue.  The treatment is simply baby aspirin.  It's doing the trick so far!  Good luck to you.

I have been taking baby aspirin since day 2 of my IVF cycle.  I have had several unsuccessful IUI's and a couple of successful ones which did not end in live births.  I have no problem with my uterine lining, it is just a precaution for me, aspirin thins the blood and is supposed to help.

Thanks for the response.  I think I might call RE after work.

I'm taking baby aspirin also per doctor's orders for the same reason as alikat... a blood clotting disorder - it thins the blood. You could always ask your RE if it would be okay for you to take it... good luck!

I am taking baby aspirin per RE but not for the lining, b/c I tested positive for a clotting disorder.
