Baby Vol--Insulin Resist. Test

I thought I would get back to you re: a previous post.  I had the Insulin Resistance Test today...Went in at 8:15, was stuck and then told to drink this 10oz. orange soda type drink----it was not too bad.  It tasted like an overly sweet Orange Cola.  One hour after drinking it, I had to get stuck again.  Then one hour after that , I had to get stuck again.  They filled to test tubes full each time.  Due to all of the crazy blood tests I have had lately, my once good veins, are now small and hard to get blood from....UGH!  I will not know the results for a week.
I am surprised your Dr. put you on meds for Insulin Resistance without doing this test.  They have you take in all of this sugar so they can watch and see how your body handles it....

I KNOW! isnt this odd.......my doc asks ME what I want to do and its very strange, i mean i want a baby but i dont wanna die over it. lol. they told me i "sounded a bit Polycystic" and that was it. i have never missed a period my whole life......no pains, no nothing. i dont have any PCOS symptoms so i was thinking it was odd that i am now on metformin but who knows. maybe u dont have to have every single symptom......... im fat, i wonder if that is one? lmao!
