Back from Re

just got back a few minutes ago the RE said i have PCOS but doesnt seem to be concerned about it he said that he can get me pregnant he is gonna to give me a new medication i am to call him day 1 of my cycle for blood work and u/s the medicine he wants to give me is used to treat brest cancer has anyone else taken it and what do you all think about pcos and getting pregnant any and all info would be great

yes i was on clomid then found out i had pcos evidently my obgyn forgot to tell me that so when i went to the re today he said from the u/s that i have pcos and also blood work from my obgyn indicated that as well. so needless to say i will be finding a new obgyn when and if i get pregnant and i will let you know what i will be taking i am looking to start  my period sometime in the next week and then i will call the re go in for some test and get started and the new med.

were you on clomid and then found out you had pcos?  i found out about two years ago i had pcos and i am going to start the clomid tomorrow.  please keep intouch i really would like to know what he puts  you on.

I believe the medication you are talking about is Femara.  I took it after having no success with Clomid and got pregnant my second cycle (did IUI also).  I hope it works for you!
