Becoming Pregnant

I had a failed cycle of IVF back in October. Do you think it is possible to become pregnant on your own immediately after trying an IVF cycle? What are the possibilities? Just wondering.

Well, I decided to go in for a blood test just to see if it was possible I was pregnant.
Well, no such luck.  A big fat negative!  Well, at least now I know, and I won't have to be tortured waiting for the answer. The doctor is going to perscribe Provera in hopes to start my cycle.  I'm hoping to start IVF in December.

I'm hoping I can start as soon as my cycle arrives.  I would need to go for a blood test and u/s to make sure there are no remnants from the last set of meds. I may have to go on birth control for 1 month.
I'm still wiaiting for my cycle to get back on track. Currently I'm late, but hesitating a bit to take a test. Not sure if I have period symptoms or pregnancy symptoms.
I may take a test this weekend to confirm.

Good luck to all.

Hopefull, I am sorry about what happened. I also had a failed IVF a week ago, it was very disspointing. Try to think positive, it will happen oneday!

Isabelle, you are very lucky! I heard it happens to some people. I wish I knew what was the reason they needed ART. I guess for something technical, such us problems that need correction surgically, won't work, but again miracles do happen....

Good luck with the next one Janice. I am also considering to try it again soon. How long do we usually have to wait for the next attempt? What do they do to you differently this time?

Hopefull - I'm hoping that it will happen that way for me.
I failed my first IVF attempt in September. I was actually trying a second time early October, but I was not responsive to the change in  meds. I'm hoping I get lucky this month before trying IVF again.

I had a failed IVF cycle in February and I am now 6 weeks pregnant without any medical intervention or fertility drugs, just the old fashion way... so yes it's possible!
