Best BBT Thermometer

I am sorry to ask this question since I know I saw a post on it a while back but I can't seem to find it ...

What is the best themometer to use, I have one that I used when I lived in South Africa but it's in centigrade and as if this process isn't confusing enough, I am not about to try and do conversions too LOL.

Then I have a digital which I use on my daughter well this morning I took it three times one after the other and my readings were from 96.8 - 97.8 which is insane since I didn't move just put it in three times in a row.  Now I wonder if all this time I have been reading my daughters temperature wrong too :-(

Anyway I love digital and know they aren't as good as the other ones but does anyone have one they can totally recommend and I need to get a new on ASAP, thank you.

I use a digital, not an actual BBT but the regular digital.  I have a problem with the beeps because they register different temps like you said.  So I keep it in my mouth the full 5 mins and register that temp.  Otherwise they would be all over the place with those crazy beep readings.  By 5 mins the temp usually settles to one solid temp.  I just don't trust the beeps!!
