Best time of day 2 use OPK

Cd 21 with clomid and no bfp so to the doc I go on tues. But when it the best time of day should I use opk on my next cycle?

Hello,
You can use OPK from day 12- day 18. Also You can note down few signs of ovulation like during ovulation the cervical mucus(discharge) increases and is of watery or raw egg white consistency; there is increase in basal body temperature; breast tenderness.

Ideally you should not use first morning urine, since LH (which is what the OPKs detect) is metabolized in the a.m. But anytime after that is fine, just make sure you don't pee or drink too much for a while before you test. Good luck this cycle!!!

Im currently taking metformin for 7 mos now with consectutive cycles with confirmed ovulation wondering if I should start clomid or try a couple of months on my own last month was the 1st I tried with. Confirmed ov and for a bfn. any thoughts?

I starred using opks in the morning and I finally got a postive I use them at the same time each day I also has a blood test to confirm ov

@ Heather thank u a bunch because last cycle I tested on the morning and thought I missed it but didn't ov on 50mg of clomid
