So, I got the results from the bloodwork I had done yesterday.  My hcg is 27.  My aunt did the bloodwork and she said this is an okay number.  What do you all think.  I'm 18DPO today.

That sounds low for being 17dpo, but everyone is different.

Seems a little low to me to, BUT if you are just a couple days off on what your O day is, that would make a big difference.  When was AF supposed to show up?  I would count that day as 14dpo.  At 14dpo, the number should typically be around 100 but like the previous posted wrote, everyone is different.

Well, both nurses I talked to said the number was normal.  And this chart I just looked at said that it could be 19-743...so, I think I'm in the clear.  We're going to do another one on Wednesday to make sure the number is rising.  I also read something that said the base number doesn't matter as much as it matters that it's rising correctly.

good luck to you!  I go to the RE tomorrow.  He is going to do a Beta (which I'm sure will be negative), progesterone test, and a sono. to see if I o'ed.  I'm preparing myself for the worst.  I guess their is always next month.

I would say as long as your numbers are rising at a steady pace you're good to go. I started spotting at about 6 weeks...it was very little and changed from lt. brown to lt. red to pink to lt. brown again but then turned bright red and I did m/c. my #s were rising very slowly but were not even doubling. if your aunt says your # is fine stay positive! it won't help to worry but I know that it is hard not to. maybe it took longer for your little one to implant!

yep, as long as they double....it think you'll be fine.....
it does look low to me tho......mine was in the hundreds by 14 dpo.......but everyone is different! Good luck to yoU!!!!

I was at 44 at 14dpo, you are fine...the numbers have to start somewhere :) You're not spotting are you?
