Bleeding 11 days past Embryo Transfer

Question

This is my first IVF try and all seemed well until yesterday.  Yesterday, I started having discharge with dark specks in  it since I was using the progesterone suppositories.  Before that it was clear.  I called the nurse today and she said it might just be from irritation of my cervix from using the suppositories and not to insert them as deep.  But now...1 day later, I'm having light red spotting all together and am really worried.  I have my hcg test on Friday and am so scared of the possible results.   Anyone else have spotting and still had a positive pregnancy...spotting so close the the date of the hcg test?

Had ivf egg transfer 16 days ago and had 2 day bleeding on day 11& 12 missed my Beta Blood test so going for Beta test and scan when i will be 23 days post egg transfer could i be pregnant .... confused

Hi, I'm Gina 38 yr old. I started bleeding in day 10 yesterday ( colour dark red until today 21-04-2014 ). My blood test in 4 more days. Bleeding..lest heavy than my period time at normally. Bleeding and cramped. Im worry, it might b ending of my hope and wish. I feel really sad and disappointed. I haven't HPT yet. Im scare to get -ve result. Have anyone gone through the same and still get positive result??

I am just a concerned husband. this is hell for me, I can't imagine what it's like for you. 
My wife had slight brown spotting 11dpt, and now at day 12 is a little heavier, and slightly brighter. We were not set to have blood work done until Saturday, but the clinic said we can go Friday.  
I am staying positive but my wife is an absolute mess. She thinks its over. 
Should I still have hope? Or is it false hope?

hi im 42 years old, on my 10 day of et, it started with brown spotting took a pregaancy test, gave me a slight positive, then i started to bleed, i dont bleed constantly just seems to happen qwhen i go to the toilet, i was heart broken yesterday, as this is my only attempt, again like others it cost too much money. i went to the doctors to check for urnine infection my test came back no blood in urne, no infection, and again slight positive, i feel as though we have lost the two enmbryos which where implanted, they tell you to rest how can you when you have things like a job, has anybody experienced the same as myself

This sounds as though its the same experience as me. I'm 33, on first IVF and have had minor cramps, breast discomfort, constipaton (TMI) since the ET. Day 11 and a clear bleed, red in colour and clots.
Think I need to admit to the obvious!

hi im 32 we just undergone our first icsi cycle we had 8 eggs 6 not mature enough 1 not fertilised and 1 tht did it was transfered back and i started to bleed on day 11 tested on day 14 it was negative, its heartbreaking really i just feel like a failure as it didint stay

Hi, i had an embrio transfer done on the 23rd Dec, and was feeling really well untill 30th Dec when i started bleeding, at first it was more of a brown colour were now its has more red in, have to do a test on Friday,6th Jan, 2012, but been having period cramps, not as bad as usual, this is the only attempt i can have because we dont have the money to try again, and its heartbreaking, so i dont know what to think, have anyone gone through the same and have still been pregnant ?????

I'm on day 7 post ET and started to see brown when I wiped; also saw red sun dried tomatoes pecks when urinate. Today is day 8 and now I have a full period flow. This is my 2nd IVF and the last time this happened my blood test resulted in BTN. I am soo sad and disappointed as this would be our last attempt, we can't afford it anymore.

I started spotting, like dark brown 2 days ago and have since had what seems like a period except it is still brown no fresh red from what I can see. I blood test to check for pregnancy is tomorrow and I'm so nervous. I've already sort if come to terms with not being pregnant. Anyone experienced anything like this and still been pregnant. I had my ET on Thursday June 30 and everything was going along swimmingly. My Beta HCG was booked for July 11. Lo and behold the night before my beta test, I started spotting. My clinic said 10-14 days post retrieval if I wasn't  pregnant, I would get my period then. But this spotting is odd - I've never spotted like this before. It's kind of watery. Not sure what to think, but since I get my results back tomorrow, I'll continue on with my sticky thoughts and cross everything!

hi everyone i had my embryo transfer last monday (18th april) im now 9 days after and since yesterday ive noticed bleeding which hs been light to dark red im really worried/anxious this is my first ttempt at ivf and im praying its going to work i do my pregnancy test on sunday 1st may im just hoping its going to be positive is this normal??? x

thank you ladies! i was just going to ask the same question and am quite relieved that i am not the only one having had the bleeding experience. this is my secodn attempt, teh first one i had blood spots a few days before the test, then my period started real heavy and i did not even do the test. this time i had a tiny blood spot a few hours after he transfer and was so frustrated that did nt even call the nurse. but reading your posts really helps me feel better. good luck to each and every one!!!!

ive just had ivf i started bleeding on the 11th day after transfer it was really heavy like a period
i thought there was no hope i dad a pregnancy test on the 14th
and its positive
waiting for a scan now in 3 weeks

I had post embryo transfer bleeding on days 8 and 9. Day  10 was the day of my blood test. I scoured the internet for information on post embryo transfer bleeding and could not find any straight answers. Well on day 10 of my blood test (yesterday, day before Thanksgiving) the bleeding began to resemble the beginning of my period and my preganancy results were negative. The nurse said early bleeding (3 - 5 days after transfer) may be a sign of implantation taking place, but late bleeding (8 days +) is not generally a good sign.  I am a black female, 33 years old, I have fibroids and endometriosis. (I like to add these details so readers can compare if they need to) This was my first IVF. I will take a break for a few months then try again. My doctor said he would perform a hysteroscopy (fibroid removal) before my next embryo transfer. I wish he had done that first. I have two out of three fertilized eggs remaining.

there is "implatation" bleeding ... but from my personal experience, at this point you can just pray , cross your fingers, do what ever keeps you in the right frame of mind. I am now day 9 post FET transfer (round 3) and I can relate to the anxiety, just remember, it is no longer in your hands... keep your chins up ladies, and stregth and babydust to you both!!

I'm now on day 12 after my transfer and am supposed to have my hcg test tomorrow (friday), but, my spotting has gone to more bleeding...its red, but still thin.  I'm so scared that this is my period starting.  Has anyone had bleeding around the time of hcg test and still been pregnant?  How common is this to happen?  Any advice will help.
