Good grief... I'm not sure where you are in the States but wherever, it's gotta be pretty darn late!!
magda_s - your answer was exactly what I would've said - great advice!
Mendi2009 - magda's right - doing the constant hpts will drive you nuts & could give you a false negative at this stage. Hang in there!! Hopefully this first cycle will work - I hope you get your BFP!! - jen
P.S. I had that "bloated" thing to during the alst week of my tww - it felt like I had gas sorry tmi - & i tto was pregnant. It's so hard to rely on symptoms, gosh-darn-it!
Look, I don't want to wrongly get your hopes. Sadly, it doesn't always work and there often isn't any good reason for it.
However, that said, the slight bleeding could be implantation bleeding and the hpt could give you a false negative at this stage.
I know it is beyond torture waiting to do the beta and there's nothing to stop you from doing more hpts until then if you really want to but I personally think it'll just drive you mental.
As it is, I was doing IVF for the same reason... partly... hubby's 23 year old vasectomy! Perfect embryos, perfect transfer, perfect everything every time but it just wouldn't work. Five fresh cycles and 3 frozen ones.
Then this last try (the 8th), a few days before my blood test, I had that bloated period-y feeling and my lower back was a bit achy and I started spotting very lightly. Lasted two or three days and I knew my period was on its way but just taking its time about it.
I wasn't even going to bother doing my blood test but hubby insisted I should so I did.
Almost had a coronary when they told me it was positive!!!
The thing is that implantation really does feel JUST like you're getting your period.
So, a) you could be pregnant, or b) it could be that you're getting your period and because of the progesterone, it's being a bit slow about it.
I hope it's the former and not the latter.
Good luck staying sane until after tomorrow!
