Bleeding after DNC/ the right Dr?

I just released the sack that was in me for 4 months, and started bleeding.  I had to have an emergency DNC a week ago.  I miscarriaged in 2nd of Nov. The baby was not alive anymore after 7 wks. My Dr. Felt that I was healthy enough to pass it on my own.  She was wrong.  My Quont  showed I was in the -.  So my Dr. thought that everything was out, even after she saw blood in the ulta sound.  I feel not taken care of.  I felt like she didn't take time to see what was real happening to my body.  I still have bleeding it is the 8 day after my dnc.  I can't beleive that I went though this for 4 months.  Why did she do this?  Is this normal?

I had my D&C a week ago today. I have been bleeding ever since, but last night was the worst.. I had a ton of clotting. Its so scary this whole unknown thing. I am calling the doctor today.

Sorry to hear about your bad news.  I bleed for 5 weeks after my DNC in late Aug, then hemmoraged for a day and bleed for another few days.  I think I had tissue that was left behind.  A second opinion said it was my normal AF but I heard you had to stop bleeding for a period of time before t could be your AF.  Plus the Dr who was my 2nd opinion ended up knowing the DR who did my DNC.  Hang in there is sucks but will get better.

I'm so sorry. How awful for you! I can't imagine. I had a d&c and bled fairly heavy for a wk, after that off & on spotting. I didn't try to pass it, I was 12 wks. So I'm not sure of the normal follow ups after a natural. I'm sure the bleeding will stop soon. There's a post further down from someone still bleeding 2 wks. I hope it's all done now and you recover quickly.
