Bleeding after Sex

I have a mirena (I have a history of severe anemia, super heavy periods and endo) this is my third one (the other taken out to have children) and it has pretty much stopped my periods as promised, they are now a light muddy discharge rather than a full on period. BUT I am now experiencing bleeding after sex, Bright red blood, lasts about 6 hours or so.. I am not having rough sex, it's not dry, and it's not painful. My GP keeps fobbing me off about it but I am wondering if I should be seeing a gyno?

YES U should go to yur  GYN, it could b something very serious or not at all but you should go the mirena could be tearing into the walls during sex and causing you to bleed or it could not have been placed right or it could be moving and coming out! So YES pls go to the GYN
