Bleeding for 2 days and stop. Did a viganal scan but found nothing.

Hello to all,

My last period was on the 31 august 2011. Lasted for 5 days ( every month ). But last 3rd october, i had some bleeding. But it was not as much as it should be. My period usually very heavy, i usually change my pad 2-3 times a day.This time the blood didnt even cover half of the pad. Dont even reached the bottom part ( where the glue plastic is ). Also lasted for 2 days. The second day i used a panty liner since the blood is not much ( that night it self my pad shifted its position because of too dry ) . My panty liner was wet but i changed only 2x on that second day. 3rd day it was stopped bleeding. Only when i wipe myself after going to the toilet i will see pink stain on the toilet paper.
Did HPT but negative.
My mom told me that she had the same situation when she was pregnant for my sister. So, i can say this is something i carry from my family? only if i am pregnant that is. She was confirmed that she is pregnant on the second month of her pregnancy.
Because of this i went to the Gynaecology to confirmed myself. according to my calculation i will be 5 weeks along. The doctor did vaginal scan and found nothing. Maybe that is why he didnt take my blood test. But not sure. i didnt think about the blood test when the doctor told me that i am not pregnant ( i got bumped :,,( was hoping that he would see something in there  )
He also told me that my cervix is thick and closed.
He also advised me to go back if my period wíll be heavier or no period at all or little as i was few days back end of this month.

have this happen to anyone? I never have this problem before.

So i went to the hospital finally. coz my husband getting worried seing me not being feeling well lately ( with the cramps, nausea, headache . Those are come and goes..)
Reached the hospital, they did blood test to me.. sonogram as well..
but surprisingly and shockingly.. they nothing but they do see gas :D ..they didnt see any baby in me  which is what i was hoping for and this is my reaction=:(  
after all the info i told them about my period and bla bla bla..
So the doctor just assume that my body are getting ready for conceiving. ( which my brain couldnt accept it.. coz for me, our body works when it is time.. as in, let say u are pregnant.. your body will getting ready as your tummy grows...)
about the gas.. well.. they have been puting me drip.. and i have been holding myself not to pee myself on the hospital bed.. cant laugh, cant cough.. cant fart..  coz i was holding it for almost an hour for the sonogram took place!! on top of that, i had a bottle of water in the car on our way to the hospital. not to mention the journey was 1 hour with the traffic jam...

so well...
this month is not my month.. and my hormone was insane for making my period so short this month..

aww yea.. we have been ttc on and off for almost 4 years as well... since we are travelling around europe due to his job.. but have never used any pills or any methods to abvoid pregnancy though.. ( even so, i have never get + :''(  ) i blame it to the travelling and my body trying to adopt to the new environment all the time...

what is beta?

We have been ttc for over 4 years.  52 months. We have had 3 mc one that i am saying is our 4th but i got a + and started 3-4 days later. we never did beta. so the re/dr doesnt count it for a 4th because they didnt confirm it.

wow... every women really do have their own way of knowing if we are preggy or not. the lucky ones get early result on hpt..

She started putting on weight and missed a period finally with my brother. With me my brother kept getting sick and finally the dr ask her if she were pregnant she said no but he ran the test any ways. her hormones changing messed with her breast milk.  She was young 16 and 17. she got married even younger 15. she was in love and knew it all.

wow... she didnt knew she was pregnant until the 4th month? how she come to knew that she was? that must be difficult for her.. since she didnt knew until she get to the 2nd trimester..

not all women have sympthoms. my mother was 4 months before she knew it. she had no nausa nothing at all saying she was she even had a normal cycle so she thought. they told her it could not be af. she did this with me also. Maybe u are still in it.

yea.. i have heard those stories too. i am actually living in a small town in Turkey with my husband. I couldnt find clear blue or any digital hpt. Those HPT that i have been testing with was local hpt. So i have no idea if they are accurate or no. But i will still want to get my blood test done next week. How i wish there is easy way ( no confusing ) with knowing if we are pregnant or not. I have heard also some women even get - blood test and hpt. Also ultrasound didnt see anything and end up they are indeed pregnant.

Some part of me telling that i am pregnant  but the other part of me think i am not. Since i have no symptoms like any other pregnant women.
The only thing i have is my back ache and dull headache which is comes and goes. I do feel irritated easily. But i wont depend on those symptoms since now the weather is crazy here in turkey. Autumn is on its way.

I was hoping for a +. I am so sorry.  Keep your faith. Maybe this is the cycle for u to get pregnant. U can still ovulate.   I have heard of some women getting negs and then it going to +.

I have had a faint line. usally they stay though. when they disappear it is called and evaporation line.  Maybe this will be both of your years.

So i did another hpt today when i woke up. It came back like it usually did. -'ve. :(

yes i believe God have his own reason for everything that is happening. He has planned what best for us. Me and my husband have been ttc for almost 4 years now. Hopefully this year will be our year.
Congrats on your 2 boys! we also have been thinking of adoption. But we will give another year or two to ttc.
Btw, i just remember a day before we went to the hospital for the check up, i did my hpt in the morning and i saw a faint second line. even my husband saw it. I was disbelieve because i never get that second line. So i took the stick to our balcony ( which only took few second from the bathroom ) but when i was at the balcony the line was gone. Have this happen to you ?

You sound prego to me! The closed cervix is another indication of a BFP. I hope you are! Best wishes to you. Re-test in another week or so or tell your Dr you want a blood test to confirm since this is more accurate.

I understand the not geting your hopes up thing. with my last pregnancy i did believe the +. I was so scared i would mc again and i did. i cried and feel apart when it happened but i kind of expected it. now i am trying to think + on trying agian and trusting that God will bless me becaus ei am asking and having faith and praying hard. I know it will all happen in his time.  He has already blessed me with two beautiful boys that we will be adopting soon. GL

thanks, im sure i will ask others who have bleeding during early stage of pregnancies once i go to get my blood test done..

i actually have been having light/mild headache ( not to the point that i have to take a painkiller..) and also very dull cramping on my lower back ( which is on and off. )
But i dont want to keep my hope high.. coz that will make me very sad if the reulst come back negative.
i probably will get htp tomorrow. ( waiting games is not my favorite :D )

implatation bleed is usally not that much. but it is possible for u to bleed like a period and still be pregnant. just ask on here. women will tell u it is normal . my bf bleed and so did my mother. GL cant wait to hear.

its amazing with every women body works.. it is very hard to know if we get pregnant or when we will get pregnant. But some women are very lucky to get their result at a very early week and vise versa ..
Yea, the vagina scan shows that i dont have cyst.. which is a very happy news after the doctor confidently confirmed me that im not pregnant.
Next week, i am going to get my blood test done. Just to make sure everything is fine so i can relax and i will update here as well :)
again, out of curiousity, is implatation bleeding occurs around the 4th week? could the bleeding i had is implatation bleeding? ( dont have to answer this. this is just a silent question for myself. feels good to share what is in my mind. )

YOu are very welcome. I dont know why he did the vaginal instead of the blood work. some women get your sympthoms and have cyst. they can spot those. some women have a sac that they can see at 5 weeks but most do not. I will have to find the story and post it for u. One of the girls went it with a + hpt at 5 weeks and i think it was 5 days and all they could see was a small sac. she thought she was done for but when they went in a few weeks later they found the heart beat and everything else.  Ever woman is different but my re/dr. wont do scans until 6 weeks because he says it is hard to find it before then.  GL.

Just out of my curiousity, doctor should know best.. why do they still want to do vagina scan if at 5 weeks will no show anything.. maybe for som moms does.. but only now i get to think, why he didnt get my blood test done.. instead he make me did pap smear..

Usally at 5 weeks u dont see anything!!!!! most of these girls can tell u this. dont let that get u down. some times even at 6 wks they only see the sac and pole. U stay strong and keep trusting your body. you know it better then anyone else!! Give it another week and take another hpt.
