Body changes approaching age 40 and other stuff...

I'm in my TWW. This is our third month trying. I just turned 39 and I think my body is going through a bunch of changes all of a sudden. Starting just last month, my breasts hurt really badly for a week + before AF and that has never happen before. Usually 1-2 days before and very little tenderness if any. They also burned a lot. I got AF and that was that. This month, I ovulated on the 29th (my birthday!) and my breasts have been sore and burning since 1dpo and still hurt and burn today at 4 dpo. Anyone else go through these types of changes right around age 40? I think I'll see an OB just to check this stuff out. I also just learned that lube is no good for sperm - I never knew! And I read recently that Preseed is a bit expensive since it's a name brand and has a lot of hype and that mineral oil is just as good and a lot cheaper.

Best of luck to all of you!!!

Me too.  I am getting a lot of breast tenderness, cramping and spotting then AF.  My cycles also are becoming a little erratic.  They are 29days one month, 26, 29, 25.  I just went to get my day3 labs and all my numbers are great.  My next step is an ultrasound to make sure my tubes are clear, etc.  I will be 41 in a few weeks.  Another think that is new is for the last two months I no longer have ewcm around ovulation time or anytime for that matter.  I am going to do OPK to see if I am ovulating anymore.  If you dont want to use Preseed, I started drinking Salada Green Tea, citrus flavor, DECAF, each night before bed and within 3-4 days had a ton of ewcm.  Try that.  Good Luck.

I just turned 40 and I have been experiencing everything that you
have mentioned.  I never experience any warning before af was due, now i get sore breast and mild cramping.  I'm almost  certain you will be just fine.  Hang in there.
