Brown spotting

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for two years, since our miscarriage.  I was diagnosed with low progesterone and take prometrium each month after ovulation.  I still have very light brown/tan spotting about 5 days before my period is set to begin, which gradually gets darker each day.  I am told this is just old blood working its way out.  This month the tan spotting started 11 days before my period, 5 days past ovulation.  I have a lot of oderless vaginal discahrge with a tan tinge to it.  I have had this for three days now.  What do you know about implantation bleeding?  How long does it last?  Every thing I find on the web says something different.

Hi, I'm new here, and have had spotting for the last year (maybe longer actually, when we weren't actively ttc). I have seen people saying that if it comes earlier than usual it can be implantation bleeding. Saying that though, last month it came earlier than usual for me, and lasted for 7 days instead of 4, and then I got my period. My doctor thought it could have been an early miscarriage, but I didn't do a pregnancy test as I didn't want to get too disappointed. Hope your spotting is a sign of a BFP to come. Did extra progesterone help your spotting?

My husband and I also have been TTC for a little over two years. I had a mc last October and my progesterone was very low so they put me on prometrium, but sadly it did not save my baby.  Since then I have been spotting before my period every month, accept last month. Every month I would pray that it would be implantation and it never was. My doctor said the spotting was not a big deal, but I did not agree. So, last month I started using progesterone cream, taking extra B vitiamins and taking Flaxseed Oil. That month was the first time in like a 11 months I did not spot, I did not get my BFP, but I was so happy that I did not have any spotting. I am using  the cream and the vitiamins again this cycle. Oh, I forgot to mention that my doctor also upped my Clomid to 100mg, this may be another reason for the no spotting. Anyway, I really hope that yours is implantation. Have you ever spotted before?? Implantation bleeding is such a tricky thing to research, just like you said every website says something different. I hope this helps!!  Good luck with everything and please keep me posted!!!
