CD 11 and Follicle sizr at 11

Hi everybody,
I have a question.
This is my second cycle and today is CD 11, and I only got one follicle at size 11. Last cycle I had size 16 on day 11.
Will it grow? Is that ok if it will grow later then CD 13 (last time, I triggered at CD 13)....???Do I still have a chance for IUI? When will this follicle reach 18mm?

THANKS!
Anya

Ok, that gives me more hope!
I think my body takes longer after m/c (DNC 9 weeks ago..), and since I have PCOS, it is harder...
I just hope that I will be 19 on CD 15 so that we can do trigger and then IUI..
Any success stories?
I got pregnant last time , my FIRST cycle with one follicle, but I had IUI on CD 15 then..in any event, the chances are that I get preggo this time probably slim, although I still hope!
I mean, I can't get lucky twice, can I?

Your follicles should definitely grow about 2mm per day, esp. since you are on meds.  That is why I thought it would be cd15 before it is mature enough.  That would put it around 19 mm.  Depending on your dr. whether they will have you trigger on cd14 or cd15 because you typically ovulate 36 hours after trigger shot, so the follicle will still have another day to grow after the trigger shot.  I triggered on cd9, my friend triggered on cd 17.  So, it all depends on your dr. and what your body is doing.  Do not give up hope yet!!!  My friend that triggered on cd 17, had several follicles but the biggest one on cd11 was 8mm.  They did get up to an 18 by the day she triggered, but she started taking injections to make them grow faster.

Oh Thank you sooo much for your reply! You gave me hope!
I thought that since last time I triggered at CD 13, I can't really do it later. I just came back from u/c from my RE and my nurse hasn't called back with blood work results...
So I guess if it grows 2 mm every day, then I should be 18 mm on CD 15 (Tuesday..)
So when you triggered last cycle at day 17, how big was your dominant follicle at day 11?

If you are being monitered by bloodwork and u/s, your doctor should be able to tell you when to trigger for the IUI to be successful.  It doesn't always have to be on CD 13.  (I triggered last cycle at day 17)  Usually any follicle over 10mm grows 2mm a day.  So if you're at 11mm, then it should be 3-4 more days until the follicle is mature enough.  Hope this helps!

Are you on any meds?  Yes, it will still grow, I am just not sure on what day it will be 18. It could possibly be cd15.
