CD 4 & 1st Day of Clomid 50mg

Just a little history. I am 25 yrs old with Hypothyroid & PCOS. I have no children & have had 2 miscarraiges (1-2005 & 1-2007) due to low progesterone. For the last 7 months my cycle have been about 40 days long. My last one was 65 days long?? I went to the Dr. in August to help me get pregnant. She did my bloodwork that day and a pelvic u/s on 8/13 (which also is the 1st day of my 65 day cycle)  . Everything came out normal. She gave me 50mg of clomid and raised my metform from 500 to 1000mg daily. She told me to start the clomid on CD4-CD8 of my next period. So my period came on friday 10/17 so today I started taking the clomid (10/20). I have since lost my insurance and cannot go back to find out whats going on. Is there a specific day I should have sex?? How do I know when I'm ovulating? Will my cycle be every 28 days now? Should I exersise (I am overweight)?? Can I use natural progesterone cream?

thats why my dr called me on cd 12 to check ovulation.
insha allah u will be.
no still no side effect from clomid thanx god
u r in cd 12 dont miss a single day from now till u dont have period again.

Yes the average woman can ovulate between day 12 thru 17. I am now on CD 12 so I'm praying to ovulate soon. I hope this is the month!!
Still no side effects from the clomid??

ya today is my second day of clomd.everything is fine till now
ya lets c what will happen next.pergnancy happen on day 12 to day 20(14-17 usually)
there is this specific time n before this and after this days are safe period.we cant be pregnant on those days.lets c what happen

My hubby is looking for a job but is not having alot of luck. I pray he finds one soon. Yes I am working so I have alot of responsibility on my back. It's ok though, I believe everything happens for a reason and God has a plan.
So you started your clomid?? How exciting!! Today I took my last pill so we shall see if it works this month. My hubby & I decided we are going to have sex every other day for the rest of the month. That is how I will find out if I ovulated I guess.....lol

he is taking examination from us.dont curse on yourself its not in our hand just dont  worry n be happy.c how lucky we r, we got the best husband who love very much.we r with the man whom we loved.
what was ur husband. he must be searching for a new job.u working or not.if u have any relative dr.then consult him.may be he can help u in tests.
i will pray for child n for ur hubby job also

Actually we have been together since January of this year. We are very happy and in love. I just am hard on myself sometimes because I am having such a hard time giving him a child :( I know it's not my fault but it really gets me angry when I see other women get pregnant that don't even want children and can't take care of them. I guess GOD has a special plan for me, you, and all of the women going through this.
I know I need to see a Dr to see if I'm ovulating. I just can't afford it. I can't even afford to live at the moment. My husband lost his job in June so I am trying my best to pay our rent. It's VERY hard out here. Our economy is really bad.
I'm just praying that with this medicine I will get pregnant.

thanx.i came to know about my thyroid in august.n now my thyroid r normal.one of my cousin have also thyroid(first hyper then hypo)now she is perfectly fine.n she is not taking any medicine but she go through regular check ups every 3 months.she was also taking eltroxin.what happened to ur insurance.my insurance also doesn't cover fertility issue n maternity. i also have to pay myself.i know it will cost very much but what we do except to pay ourself.u must see the dr so that u can find out that 50 mg of clomid is sufficient for u or not.u r ovulating or not.talk to ur dr.that u have no insurance now.lets c what she says
or go to some govt.hospital
we got married last yr in feb.but we were seeing each other from 2002.n u how long have you and your husband been together

YAY!!! I'm so happy you got your period! I am also keeping you in my prayers. My thryroid levels are normal at the moment. I have had this horrible disease since I was 12 (it started as hyperthyroid). So far the dose of synthroid I am on is working well for me. I'm really having a hard time because I can't afford my medications & Dr's. They took my insurance away from me last month so I can't go to the Dr's to see how the clomid is working :(  I just know things will get better for us.
How long have you and your husband been together?

today on 23rd my period started this is the first time in life that i m so happy about my period.from 2morrow i will be taking clomid i m also taking folic acid.i m also very happy to find u because  our case is so similar.i will pray for u also.insha allah we will be blessed with a child.

Yes, God willing we will get pregnant!! I pray every night that I will be blessed with a child.
The Dr. told me I should be pregnant in 3 months. So we should just  keep taking our medicines, eating right & exercising along with our prayers & we will conceive. I am so happy to have found someone that I can relate too.

no she didn't gave me  metformin just clomid n dufaston.n eltroxin for my thyroid.
exercise & diet will work but very slowly in our cases(thyroid+pcos),but it will work.
inshallah we will get pregnant,but how much time dr have told u to get pregnant.all we can do is pray,have medicine n check-ups on time.n wait n watch. i will also keep u updated

Did the Dr. give you metformin for your PCOS and synthroid for your thyroid?
I'm also on a diet & exercise program but nothing seems to work!
I really hope to get pregnant the 1st round. I can only sit and wait. I will keep you updated and you do the same.

i was also thinking about the pregnany but today i tested n it is negative.really it is frustrating.i was waiting for my period to come.from last month i have irregular period
6days in sept n now 15 days.dr told me to give time of 6 months to get pregnent.
while on 12th day of period she will check that i m ovoluting or not.if not then she will increase the dose or see what to do next.
i m 4pound over wt i m doing regular exersise n not having fatty food.i loose 1 pound in 1 month.

Wow, you're going through exactly what I'm going through. When the Dr gave me the clomid it was the 1st day of my period (8/13) and she told me to start it my next cycle. Well this cycle didn't start for 65 days. I was going nuts thinking I was pregnant.
Its very frustrating having to go through this.
Well I started the clomid yesterday and I haven't had any side effects so far. Do you have irregular periods? Did your Dr. tell you when you should ovulate while on the clomid?? Are you overweight? Have you been ttc for a while?
Sorry for the 20 questions, I'm just happy to have someone to relate to.

i do have a same problem. i m also 25 yrs old with Hypothyroid(hashimoto) & PCOS
I went to the Dr. in August to help me get pregnant.she did my blood test on 3rd day of my period & transvaginal transabdomanal u/s.then i came to know about hypothyroid & pcos before that my period was regular.but in sept it was 6 days delayed.i m going to endocryonologist now also my tsh,free t4 &free t3 are normol on 100mcg eltroxin.(tested on 29sep)
my gyno gave me 50mg clomid n  told me to start the clomid on CD2-CD5 of my next period.i m still waiting for my period it is delayed 15 days.
she also gave me dufaston which will start on the 14-27day of my period.
and asked me to come on the 12th day of my period so that she will check my ovolution
i dont know what will happen next
i m not using any progestrone cream & also doing exersise
ovolution start from 11-17 days of period so try not to miss any single day.

do clomid have any side effects to u
