hi I am 20 years old and got married in feb me and my husband were ttc but no luck yet my dr put me on Clomid Iam on my first cycle of 50mg. I would like more advise on what to do?
I am on my 3rd cycle of clomid and havent had any luck
I was put on the clomid because after my son
I was unable to concieve and then when i did concieve which was feb 2010
it ended in m/c had to wait 1 yr and the started it

My husband and I have been TTC for a good year now and nothing good has happened besides having signs of pregnancy and having negative HPT. We both went in to the doctor today (fertility doctor to be exact) and she told me that I'm not ovulating (obviously). She prescribed me progesterone for a good week and then she said for me to wait until I see my period to get the prescription of Clomid, which most of her patients had success with... and about every 1 out of 50 patients ended up with twins. I hope I'm that "1 out of 50." It'd be nice to have my first pregnancy with twins! =)
i am 20 years old and found out i have pcos so they put me on clomid. the 50mg did nothing.... so they tried the next step which was to amp it up to 100mg and still that did nothing finally my doctor put me up to 150mg and it was working i was produceing two very strong lead follicals :) very happy to hear) it makes me a little bit moody now and then but nothing to extreme! Still not prgnt but how to be soon we have been ttc for almost two years kinda heart broken it hasnt happened yet but god has plans for us all and i believe that he will let it be when the time is right even if i think that its now lol well good luck to all and baby dust i will pray for all those in need of help as i do!!!!! if you have any tips or anyhting related to me please feel free to post back to me i could use some tips anything helps maybe someone can answer why i have been having head aches for the past four days??????? not on clomid at the moment waiting for my period to start
Yes clomid will make you very angry lol. I have the worse attitude with everyone around me. My boobs hurt as well. Like its very painful to roll over at night.
Hi ladies i took clomid for 3 cycles and by god it made me like the wicked witch.I had terrible side effects and cant believe i actually managed to take it for the 3 cycles.It gives you a bloated stomach and false pregnancy symptoms.And beware coz the clomid plays nasty mind games,well it did with me anyway.It didnt really do much for me as i ovulate on my own anyway,but it was meant to help me get bigger follicles coz of my age more than anything.My cycles are regular 28 days and it was still the same even on clomid.The biggest thing about clomid is that it dries up your CERVICAL MUCUS.But if you take robittusin cough syrup that contains the only ingredient (gaufinesin).Take a spoonful morning and night but dont start to take it until youve taken the last clomid pill and stop as soon as you ovulate.It helps big time.You can also drink a glass of grapefuit juice daily alomgside the couch syrup and remember to drink plenty water.Sorry to go on but ive ive been any help then its all worth it SSBD Ladies Bev xx
I am on round 3 of clomid. I was diagnosed with PCOS. So my doctor put me on provera to bring the monthly on. The first two times taking clomid I was on 50 mg. The first time I ovulated and the second time I did not. My doctor just recently had me take another round of Provera and I just started my clomid this morning at 100 mg. My husband and I have been ttc for 4 years but this is the first time him and i have actually went sought help for the situtation. I am very excited to see so many success stories but at the same time I have been let down twice. we will see!
I had started clomid on my first day of period.. 10/10/10 and took till day 10/15/10.. I then ovulated for 4 days.. 10/24/10-10/27/10.. of course we ummmm.. well you know for all four days(:.. but then on 11/08/10 I had some spotting of light blood followed by brownd discharge spotting both only lasting 2days total.. I have yet to have my actual menstral for this month. I have taken well over 20 hpt. wich all have came back negative..): I had blood work done on 11/19/10 an will find out the results tomorow morning...(: fingers crossed. I have had some symptoms i know only cause my hubby says im meaner then ever and then sweet and then angry.. I have to urine alot.. and my tummy seems to buldge out a little more than normal, so he says..(: I have been carefuly pushin on my tummy to see if its just bloated but im thinkin that is not the case.(: Oh and lets not forget the headaches.. so ya this is my story... Does anyone relate???? please let me know!? Im realy impatient, wana know now!(: *** FINGERS CROSSED!***
I have a success story with clomid!!!! I am 20 years old. I miscarried my baby in March of 2009 and have been ttc ever since. The first pregnancy I was on no meds. My levels got low and I lost it. We tried for a while on our own and nothing happend so I decided to go see a specialist. She diagnosed me with pcos and put me on metformin 1500 mg (for PCOS), prenatals and progesterone 200 mg (to start my period). We had to not try for 3 months so my hormones could regulate and my cycles could regulate too! Well after about 3 more months of trying still for negative results so I asked to be put on clomid! She kept me on metformin, prenatals and changed my progesterone pills to the progesterone gel that you insert and she added clomid 50 mg! After one month of that I got a negative pregnancy test. So she upped my dose of clomid to 100 mg and I just found out last night I am pregnant and I go for my first appointment Monday!!!! I am soooo excited! Clomid worked for me and I will take it again when we want another baby if I have to! I had no side effects at all! Hope all you ladies have some success!!!!
I am a 32 year old seeking to concieve. I have been diagnosed with Endromitiosis and was recommended by my Dr. to start on clomide. I just finished my first cycle. So nervouse to know if it worked or not. Dr. says it doesn't help to stress but i really can't help it.

I took clomid for one cycle so far - My dr said I definitely ovulated and am waiting to see if we conceived. My dr had me wear an estrogen patch to keep my uterus lining from thinning too much - it worked - every ultrasound should a very healthy uterus

I took Clomid(100) for one cycle and it worked for me. I am currently 17wks. pg. Good luck to you!!
I took Clomid for one cycle, but it thinned my uterine lining. I only produced one mature follicle on each ovary. My dosage was 100mg I think. It did not do the trick for me.
My RE has since prescribed Femara. I will give that a try this week.
You might have better luck posting your question on one of the pregnancy forums. Many of us here on the Fertility Forum are still waiting for our BFP's.

I am 30 and I used Clomid for 2 cycles on days 5-9 and for one cycle on days 2-6. I took it for a luteal phase defect. It didn't help the LPD nor did it get me pregnant. I really don't like it - I am a basket case on it!! I know many others have had success, though.
I am 26 yrs old and I am currently on my 4th cycle of Clomid. First three cycles were 50mg and current cycle is 100mg. I also took an HCG shot with the Clomid. I have ovulated every month so the Clomid is working....just not pg yet. This month I'm trying an IUI with the Clomid, so we'll see!! Good luck!
i am 29 yo and took low dose clomid 25mg for only 1 cycle and got pregnant. i was taking the clomid because i have had recurrent mc's (5). the thought the md had was that my follicles were small so the clomid would increase their size and make a more viable pregnancy. ended in mc 11/30. but the clomid did work and if we ever decide to ttc again then i will cosider using it. good luck and God Bless!!
