CLOMID! What should I expect

CLOMID! What should I expect

I recently have taken Clomid for 5 days, now 2 weeks later I am to start my period and nothing, now 6 days later, I am concerned, never missed my period before, I am having tenderness in the breast, mostly the nipple area.  I have taken two pregnancy test and both show negative, also little upset stomach.  Could it be that the Clomid is doing this, because my breast just started becoming tender 7 or 8 days ago.  I took CLOMID starting Sept. 26 - Sept.30.  Which has now been 3 weeks ago since my last Clomid pill. I have never been pregnant before, so I am really  not sure what to expect in the early stages, since every womans body is diffrent, any input would be greatly appreciate.

Thanks

Luvey

Hi, I started taking my clomid Sept 27th, so we should be around the same in our cycles. I haven't taken a test yet,I'm gonna wait a few more days. I recommend you wait till a few days after your missed period, that saves you from a lot of stress. Your HCG levels are probably not high enough yet to show a possitive test, if you are pregnant. If you can't wait to find out, you can always ask your doctor to do a blood test, it shows up earlier in blood than in urine. As far as your symptoms, maybe you are implanting? I'm pretty sure I am, cause I'm really achy, and same with me, it started about a week ago. Not everybody gets symptoms though, and tender breasts and stomach ache could be all. I'm not sure if clomid could be causing this, I don't think it's suppose to. I've been experiencing painful ovulations because of the clomid, but the last part of my cycles has been fine, unless I've been trying to implant. Hang in there, be patient, and best of luck!

My dr started me on clomid this cycle. I start on Friday. I have heard horry stories about the side effects. Other than side effect I am hoping that clomid does the trick and I get pregnant. Good luck ladies and keep us posted on your results.

I am close in your situation I started Clomid Sept 25-Sept 29.  I had really really bad cramping where I could barely walk on Oct.9-11.  I missed my period which was due October 20th. I have also really tender nipples and some achiness here and there, plus my face started to break out.  Naturally, I freaked, but I did remember my face started breaking out with my first child.  I'm not exhausted, but I'm a little tired at times, but I have a high energy level. Also, I have noticed that I am a lot more irritable and cried during my last sexual encounter, so either I'm losing it or pregnant. Good luck.

Hi, I'm 38 years old,  we have been trying to become pregnant for almost a year! Finally we became pregnant but unfortuantly I had a miscarriage.  Now my doctor put me on Clomid 50mg, I took it day 5-9, just finished my last pill 1/1/07, I'm very excited and hoping that we become pregnant again soon! Any words of wisdom would be appreciated!  Thanks!

How did you get on? I'm having exactly the same thing, I'm on day 30 and I had ultra sound which shows I ovulated and progesterone was 40 so that looks good as well but like you I've had a negative test? My mum used clomid to get pregnant with me and she says she didn't get a positive untill 9 weeks? that was quite a while ago though and I would like to think they are more sensative now. Hope you reply with good news for yourself x
