COULD I BE PREGNANT? DO I HAVE TO GET A C-SECTION?

HI EVERYONE,
I have some questions, I am not on BC and have not been in a very long time. My husband and are trying to get pregnant with what will soon be our 2nd child I am praying ,and my last period started on Nov.12 and lasted 3 days. I have a 32 day cycle and by useing the ovulation calculator on some websites I was ovulating 11-26 through 12-6. and I am assuming those were my fertile days. My husband and I tried on 11-29 twice, then 12-4, and 12-7 Could I have gotten pregnant? I know it is diffrent with everyone, and with my son I did not know I was pregnant till I was 6 weeks With him and I did not know about the ovulation calculator and etc we just tried all the time lol and it only took 3 months to get pregnant with him. My period will be due this Friday if I start, my boobs are real sore and have been for 3 days normally it is just a day that they are sore. But I know that this could be possible PMS as well. I tested last LAST NIGHT just to check and it was negative I know I should wait till I miss my period to test but I just wanted to know what you ladies think! I know if I don't stress it will happen I am just so impatient lol  Also I had a C-section with my son it was not planned does that mean I will have to have another one if I get pregnant or could I do vaginal. My son was 9 pounds and 7 ounces and I could not deliver him vaginally PLEASE RESPOND!Thanks -Shay

No problem at all. I had a similar experience as you when I first joined. I posted a topic and didn't get a response and then I realized it was a bad time of day (actually later at night) and so I just kept reading new posts to see if there was the same topic. I found a thread and now we have all been posting since July. This is an amazing place for support so please don't ever become discouraged.

Good luck and SSBD!

Sorry about the caps it is just a habit, I assumed that it would show up better in caps and get noticed and get more responses quicker. I understand about the forum and I know everyone is busy and I really really appreciate everyones responses. Thanks

I think many people do not respond to posts that seem like there are obvious answers because from time to time there have been people on here who are not serious or post questions that seem odd. For instance, if you had intercourse during your ovulation period, why WOULDN'T you get pregnant? That is the only time you would be able to get pregnant. Also, most people on the boards are very familiar with VBACs and when and why they would do them so without detailed information, people would tend to say WHY NOT but they don't know your medical history so they wouldn't post.

In short, I think people respond to posts where they really need support about a problem or issue they are having about their fertility.

Hope this helps. One last recommendation I have is not to use all caps when posting. All caps signify yelling and this may seem like you are angry at the forum so people may be turned off by your post resulting in no responses. You only gave the forum a couple of hours to respond and many people are working so the post that would apply to a member may not have been read in the meantime.

I know some people who have delivered vaginally after a c section.  I would wait to test until a week or so after you expected AF.  Trust me AF can definitely mimic preg.  Take it from someone who "thinks" I 've been preg every month for 2 years and never have been.

Some practices don't allow vbac's, that is somthing you will have to discuss with your OB, and the hospital that you plan to deliver at, alot of the time your 2nd child is bigger than the last, of course there are alot of acceptions to this rule :) My second was smaller but he was pre-term. I had similar problems as you, my first was too big for my pelvic bone, but they wouldn't even let me try to push, for fear of uterine rupture, it is a choice you must make with your Dr. Weigh out the pro's and con's! Good luck dear.

PS... Alot of times people don't respond to the Am I pregnant questions, b/c you can't dx pregnancy with symptoms if we could we would all be pregnant when we are ttc, any symptom possible we have, LOL not to mention PG symptoms mimic period symptoms so closely. Hang in there keep testing, now that you are starting to monitor more closely people will be able to help you more.

Hi
I am sorry, I don't have any answers for you - my husband and  I recently started trying to get pregnant for the first time.  I found the ovulation calculator on webmd.com and plannedparenthood.com  - they were both about the same.
I just wanted to say good luck and I will be praying for you too!
