Calling All Women of Strength !!!

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.
A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.
A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.
A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings and capitalizes on them.
A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face…
But a woman of strength wears grace.
A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

Hey, ladies! It's been a long day. Sorry I couldn't update sooner. We've been spending so much time at the hospital & we're enjoying every minute. The nurses are awesome & welcome us to stay & learn ;) We've been taking their temps, changing them, feeding them & of course, taking lots of pictures! ;) Both Ricky & Ava have been moved out of their incubators & into open-air cradles, which is good news :) Now we can bring clothes for them to wear, which is fun :) They need to maintain their body temps in the open air & the clothing helps. They've both been having some reflux issues & so, they've cut back Ricky's bottle feedings to three per day (the rest are via a tube). She's taking about half of her food through a bottle & the rest through a tube. The breast milk is helping, though. It's easier for them to digest & luckily I'm making a lot more! Yay :) We decided to rent a machine from the hospital & it's just so much better than the one I purchased. There's a lactation unit at the hospital & they're just so nice & helpful. They're very pro breastfeeding, so they'll come to my side in the NICU and help me to spend time with the babies skin on skin & teach me how to breastfeed properly ;) Oh! The NICU nurses also have dolls they call "loveys" & dh and I put them under our shirts against our skin & then put the loveys in with the babies, so they can cuddle with your scent ;) They also just approved a program where we can bring in hard-covered books & read to the babies :) Then we can sanitize them & leave them there. Ok! I'm writing too much :) Just wanted to give a recap of what we've been doing. We're going to have dinner & head back over to the hospital soon :) Oh! My shower is this weekend! We can't wait. Dh & I actually took over most of the planning & we're having it catered. We also bought a very special cake :) I'll be sure to take pics :) dh will put together a slide show of baby pics to okay throughout the day, which will be pretty cool.

Sbumblebeeo: That's a great question & the number one thing I would tell you to bring is some type of slippers or slip on shoes. It'll be more comfortable walking from your bed to the bathroom. Of course I was there longer than hopefully you'll be, but I even wore mine in the shower ;) Your situation may be different if Shelby comes naturally rather than via c section, but I'd pack changes of underwear & some socks. Bring loose clothing or maternity clothing for when you leave the hospital because if you're anything like me, you won't fit your ore-maternity clothes. If you're there long enough & plan to shower, bring anything you need for a shower. Most of the things I needed were supplied to me, but that may not always be the case. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know :) Happy early 35 Weeks!

My babies will be one week old at 12:15 & 12:16 a.m.! :)

Good morning & thanks for all the nice comments re:  our baby shower cake! :)  Leighanne:  dh had it made based on our baby shower invitations.  He brought paint chips from Dunn Edwards just so the colors would be perfectly matched!  He was very proud :)  So, yesterday the doctor switched Ava's formula to match Richard's, the same amount of extra calories.  By doing that, he wanted to see how she did, make sure she continues to gain weight on the lesser amount, before sending her home.  He wants us to take them home together (and we do too!), so we'll most likely bring them home tomorrow :)  I have my first appt with my ob since my c section & then we'll head over to the hospital.  dh and I watched the CPR video last night, so we just have to speak to my ob about our little guy's circumcision ;(, and then we'll be all set to bring them home!  We're so happy, especially now that dh got mini cribs and set them up in our bedroom.  They are actually really beautiful & match our bedroom furniture.  They were the same price as bassinets, but we couldn't find a bassinet that we liked & figured they'd outgrow the bassinet before a mini crib.  So, we're all set, except for some more cleaning up :)  I'll let you all know what the doc says today.

rachjas:  Congrats on your iui! =)  I'm sending lots of good wishes your way!!!

Keyan:  How are you feeling halfway through your tww? :)  How's the adoption process going, did you get your family picture taken?

mommyin10-  Good luck tomorrow.  I know we are all so excited for you to bring home those babies!

luvkayln-  My doctor said the same thing only people with BU have even less chance for the baby to flip b/c they run out of room faster.  I still feel her in the same spots as I always do so I doubt she has flipped.  I'm with you on the birth control method.  DH and I have already talked about what we are going to do when Shelby gets here.  We decided since it took so long to concieve there is no reason to put birth control in my body.  What ever happens happens.  If we don't have another baby within the first 3 years of her life or are pregnant than we are going to either activly try or activly not have any more.  Your post to mommyin10 about the dedication made me cry too.  I can only imagine how emotional I would have been standing up there.  And three months old ALREADY!  If I didn't know you so well I wouldn't believe it!  I can't imagine how fast it goes.  It makes me thankful she isn't here yet even though I would do anything just to see her and hold her in my arms.

I uploaded a pic of our baby shower cake! :)  The rest of the pics from our shower were taken by my sister in law & unfortunately they're all out of focus! :(  My mom took pics too, so hopefully I'll have some good ones to upload soon.  The cake is really cute!  It was dh's idea based on our shower invitations :)

luvkayln:  Your post brought tears to my eyes...  I can just imagine how emotional Addy's dedication was for you.  I immediately thought of Kayln & I'm sure she was right there with you, as well as your grandmas ;)  Addy has a jumperoo too?!  How cool!  I like to hear that she's already using it.  I wasn't sure when ours would.  I can't believe she's 3 months!!!  Mine are almost 3 weeks!  It's crazy how fast time glies.  Yes, they could be coming home tomorrow!!!  dh and I will have to watch the CPR video while we're there tonight.  He's at work right now & I stayed home so I can clean our bedroom.  Everything's been neglected... He'll get off work early & run errands, then we'll head over to the hospital.  I feel a bit guilty not being there all day, but I felt like I had to take a breather and get things ready.  Oh, there's a photographer at the hospital who takes pics of babies in their "going home" clothes, so I'm going to try to get ahold of them.  Hopefully we can get a good pic of them together for our announcements :)  One thing we were told is that the babies won't be full term til our due date (April 1) and so we need to still treat them accordingly.  Meaning, not a lot of visitors, no taking them out in public or around children, etc. til a few weeks after April 1.  Of course I'd like to keep them secluded much longer, but at least our families can appreciate that.  Well, that's exciting news that you aren't trying NOT to get pregnant! :)  I'll be anxious to hear that you're back on our list!!! =)

Keyan:  Yes dh is working a few days here and there.  He was dropping me off at the hospital and going to work a few days a week since the babies were born.  That way, he's using vacation time & not getting into his FMLA leave time just yet.  Today he'll just work til 2:00, I think.  Yes, I defintely appreciate dh & how involved he is in his kids' lives.  There is a 17 year old girl in our area of the NICU and I just think, my goodness, she's 20 years younger than I am & seems like such a mess (sorry if that's rude), but I can't imagine being in her shoes...  We are lucky ;)

sbumblebeeo:  I definitely remember being totally uncomfortable!  Getting out of bed was the worst & trying to get comfortable while in bed was seriously a losing battle!  dh had to push me out of bed!  I know you see how worth it this all is, but sometimes you just want to get things moving.  I hope for you that your water does break or you go to your appt and are sent straight to the hospital :)  Those would be the two best scenarios 'cause then there's no guesswork! :)  Keep in mind that if your water does break, you still have time, so don't panic.  dh called the hospital right away & asked if they'd have a wheelchair for me when he pulled up & they very calmly said, no, you have plenty of time...At the time, I thought that was odd, but my water broke at 8:45 and when I got to the hospital, they had me sit in the waiting room, then I was in a bed between 9:30-10:00.  That's when my contractions actually started.  I wasn't wheeled in for my C Section til about 11:30 and the babies were born just after midnight.  So, I'm just telling you that so you don't panic if it happens to you :)  Good luck on Wed & hang in there! :)

babymadd:  I'm sorry about the BFN ;(  Like Keyan said, if it's a true BFN, hopefully AF will show quickly so you can move forward.  Take care!

Mommyin10- What???! Tomorrow, yayyyyy!!! That is SO exciting! I definately didn't expect to hear that it would be THAT soon, that's just awesome!!! :) Poor dh, OMG! lol! ;) All that running around and returning things, and still trying to get the babies' room ready! He almost needs you to run behind him to keep his head on straight! Haha!! :) I'm so glad you got to stay longer and visit after your shower! How cool you got the rainforest jumperoo, Addy loves hers! ;) We had Adalynn's dedication yesterday at church, it was awesome! I of course was up there crying! It was just emotional b/c the pastor was talking about how much God loves the children... I couldn't help but think about Kayln. I felt like I was up there dedicating Adalynn and Kayln to God, and that's what brought the big emotions! :) Then, the song we sang after the dedication was my Grandma's favorite song and Sean's Grandpa's favoring song, who have both passed away. So we definately felt they were both there with us celebrating! I know Kayln was there too. :) Well, I know you'll be busy today and tomorrow getting things around the house ready for the babies, just remember to rest! You're still in the healing process, and you'll need your rest for when they're home! :) I'm just SO happy they're coming home!!! :)

Keyan- We had beautiful weather this weekend! Addy and I took 2 walks! :) We went to my best freind's house yesterday, and we played frisbee with her 4 y/o son while Addy slept. Then we all walked down to the park in her neighborhood so he could play! I held Addy and we played on the swings! :) She loved it, it rocked her to sleep! We also went to the plaza and did a little shopping at the bookstore. Addy got 2 new books! We love to read to her! :) Maybe you can get the pics done next weekend! We have 2 more weeks of winter, but I'm hoping it stays nice and we don't get anymore snow! Where we live, I wouldn't doubt it! It could be in the 60s one day and snowing the next! :) Almost half way through your 2ww! How do you feel? :)

Sbumblebeeo- Gosh, I'm sorry you're so uncomfortable! :( It IS almost over, so hang in there! My doctor said if they haven't flipped by 36 weeks more than likely they won't. Like mommyin10- I bled for a little over 3 weeks after delivery, but after I had Kayln I only bled for 1.5 weeks. I'm convinced the difference is the breastfeeding. I hope you have some good news on your appointment this Wednesday and you are dialated!! :)

Rachjas- Welcome to your 2ww! :)

Susanna & Mamatina- Welcome back! :)

So, Addy turned 3 months yesterday! Can you believe it?! And I'm having major O pains right now!! Sean and I were talking yesterday when we were on our way to my bestfriend's house, and I just looked at him and said that I would give anything to have both girls in the backseat right now! And he said that's why he wants another baby so bad already! The way I look at it is we're not going to try, we'll just let it happen when it's supposed to happen. Obviously I KNOW when I'm ovulating or about to, so I have a pretty good idea of when we should bd. It's kind of easy to know when to try especially after ttc'ing so long! :) I don't have periods since I'm still nursing, but I still ovulate, which my OB said is supposed to happen while nursing. So we'll see what happens. :)

mommyin10-  I can't believe it!  They're coming home tomorrow!  I am so excited for you.  It's going to be so different having them home with you guys.  They are doing soooo well.

As for me... I am so sore and uncomfortable.  Today I feel like  I can barely walk from the cramps but nothing yet.  No baby yet.  I go to the doctors every Weds until she comes.  I would do just about anything for my water to break on its own and us just go to the hospital now.  The back ache and cramps are aweful.  And she is so high up in my rib cage when I lay down it feels like she is going to crack one or two.  I'm really ready for this to be over.  I still can't believe he added a week to my sentence!  :(  Oh well.  Well see if I am dilated at all in two  days and we'll see her again b/c they are checking for her to flip head down.  It doesn't feel to me that she has and the doc doesn't  actually expect her to.  Ok I've kept you long enough.  Take care!  DH sounds so wonderful out getting all the things you need.  That is great.  You are so lucky, as I am.  I don't forget that even when I am in pain.  :)

XOXO

BabyMadd: Sorry about the BFN. I hope that if is a true BFN, that AF won't keep you waiting, it is better to just start a new cycle and start trying again.

Mommyin10:YAY!! tomorrow!! wow!! I am really happy to hear that....sorry for DH having to do so much shopping around! I am sure he is been a great help for you and a great dad to the babies! ....is he not working theses days?

Luvkayln: OMG an F! are you serious...and I am just 5ft tall!! since I've gain weight (almost to 130) now they are almost on the D side! gosh!! we weren't able to do the pic, raining!, but we were happy it was raining and cold, it has been a hot christmas for us, so we like it when we get a rest of the hot days!

Rachjas: Good luck to you on this cycle....I am really happy you are also trying adoption, are you asking for an infant? there is so much paper work to do! Before we can submit the appliction, we need to also submitt a bunch of documents, although I am sure they will ask for more documents later on.

Mamatina and Susanna: welcome back! Good luck to both of you!

Leighanne: I hope your little boy starts feeling better soon.

Tested this morning and was BFN :( Just going to wait for AF now so i can get back to charting properly. My boobs are still very sore but they are not heavy. I havebt really had PMS symptoms since coming off the clomid last year thats why i went and bought tests..I read and article though saying if you drink caffiene your more likely to get sore boobs before your period and i have been drinking a bit this month.. Time to lay off the coffee!!!

Mummyin10 - It was very hard lol. But i have bought so many tests in my 5 years i should own half of clearblu and FRER haha. And to be honest when you do test every day before your period and its negative, it kinda spoils your day, thats all you think about. Also i used to find it hard to sleep lol the night before i tested.

Ok. The doc made his rounds while I was there today & told me to expect both babies to come home on Tuesday!!! He took them off their reflux meds & they're both nippling at each feeding & continuing to gain weight. As long as they continue to progress over tge next 48 hrs, we'll bring them home Tuesday :) I think it'll be much easier on me, not facing to get to the hospital, being able to stay in PJs & throwing in laundry, etc in between feedings. Funny thing is we still need bassinets. So, dh went to babies r us today & ended up getting cribs, mattresses & monitors. The monitors are pads that go on the mattress & they alert you if the baby hasn't moved in so many seconds... He picked me up from the hospital & we went out to eat. We were talking about using bassinets in our bedroom instead of cribs, so he's going to return the cribs (they're not the ones we'll use in their room) & get bassinets at another baby store... Then we get home & he shows me tge mattresses, which have memory foam.  We read the info on the monitors & it says they can be used with any mattress, so long as it's NOT memory foam! Ugh! :) So, now he has more running around to do tomorrow. We also have to watch a CPR video before taking the babies home, but we can do that at their bedside.

Leighanne: Sorry Jaedyn's sick! Poor guy ;( I'm sure it's hard for you to see him feeling bad. Hopefully he'll bounce back quickly. I'm sure you miss that cute smile ;) As far as being ready, I feel totally prepared now to care for the babies, but I will go to the hospital a bit later tomorrow so I can clean! I've been away so much & it shows...

Sbumblebeeo: It's funny you asked that question! I was just thinking about telling you that I'm still bleeding 2 1/2 weeks later. I really never thought I would bleed like this after having a c section. I guess no one really talks about it. Remember that it is major surgery & you really won't feel like having sex, but my instructions on discharge from the hospital were pelvic rest for 6 weeks. No sex, heavy lifting, etc. I'm also taking percocet for the pain, so I'm not driving yet. My pain could be worse because I haven't really rested, but I'm not sure. I've been at the hospital moving from one baby to another & by the end of the day, I'm in a lot of pain. Maybe Stacey can let you know how she felt after too.   Yes, I will post pics as Dion as I get then off my camera & on to the computer. I haven't even seen them yet :) How are you feeling?

Nino7: Yes! We can't predict when it will happen for us, but take a look at our "wall of fame" & you'll see that when the time is right, you'll be added up there too! :) I honestly felt like it might not happen for me either, so hang in there!

Mamatina: It's good to hear from you & thanks! :) Hmmm, do you think it's a possibility? :) My first symptom was sore & heavy bbs... I'm glad you're getting back to your normal life. I can imagine the stress you must have felt caring for your mom. It's good she's in capable hands & you can focus your attention on your adorable son! ;) Keep us posted on how you're doing!

Susana:  Yeah, losing weight is definitely helpful, but not always what you want to hear! Like you said, it's easier said than done :) It sounds like your doc is addressing your cycle & will come up with just the right "cocktail" of meds for you :) Hang in there & yay for the new computer!

Sorry for being MIA my laptop went bust and i finally got a new one. Yeaaaaaaa!
Well I never ovulated last month even with the 150mg of clomid so my Dr gave me provera to start my period.  He has also put me on Metaformid for 3 weeks not really sure why.  He also told me i need to lose weight so tht the clomid will work this time.  Ah easier said then done lol but i will try and hopefully I will ovulate to give me a chance to get pregnant.

Congrats to all the New Mom's and Mommy's to be!

CONGRATS on the twins!!!! SO sweet!! I am still alive and kicking. My life had been Up and DOWN for the past few months. I will try to sum it up.

1. No AF since Aug 2009, I have HYPERthyroidism on meds to help (I am fine)
2. My 76 yr old mom had dementia and was living with us and is now in a nursing home....Thank God!!  I was losing my mind between her and Mason!! Who is now 5 as of March 2nd!! Wow, time flies!!!
3 And heres the weird thing, last week my bb's were SO sore my bra even hurt them, and last night I had the strangest cramps only on left side. They are definitley NOT menstral cramps. These are real quick and sharp and I also have a pinkish/brown spotting today. See, Odd I told you.  Whatcha think???  I am not looking into it but, it is interesting!!

Hope everyone is doing well on here!!

mommyin10-  Yay!  for the babies coming home.  That is super great news.  I can't wait for you.  How exciting.  I still wanna see pictures of the showers and all the cute stuff.  Personal question..... since you had a c section are you experiencing bleeding like they say you do after a baby?  DH is starting to be curious about when we can have sex again.  LOL  poor guy.  I don't blame him.  It's been a long time.

******************************************************************************************************Luvkayln:  How was the park this weekend?  Did Addy love the geese? :)  I spent yesterday at the hospital and breastfed both babies without the lactation nurses' help, so I felt very accomplished :) hee hee  I'm heading over there soon & my parents will drive out to visit for a short time.  dh is going to finish the moulding in the babies' room & then meet me there later.  We're actually expecting that one or both may come home by the end of the week!!!  We need to get things ready for them :)

Nino:  I think anyone will tell you I was exactly the same way & who knows?  Maybe it does have something to do with it, but with the right meds, everything just works its way out :)  I stressed over my thickness for so long & I now have two healthy babies, so hang in there & talk to you doc!  When's your next appt?  Best of luck =)

BabyMadd:  Your will power is amazing!  I couldn't hold out & then I'd be rushing to the store to buy some more hpts! ;-)  My biggest symptom with my BFP was that my bresats got very sore and heavy.  I don't think I felt that til after my BFP, but we are all different. We'll be thinking of you tomorrow & praying for a BFP!!!

rachjas:  You've been busy! :)  It sounds like you're gettiing a lot done & moving towards two very positive goals!  You & Keyan are both in the midst of the adoption process.  It's so exciting =)  Good luck today with your IUI!  I'm so happy to hear you have such a nice sized follie on your good side!  Best wishes =)

mommyin10,
Thank you :). When am not getting pregnant, my brain start to find a reason. So I say maybe my endo is one of the reasons. I will see the doc soon :)

rachjas0623,
Good luck and my prayers to you.

We just got home from completing our physicals and mailing out our last part of paperwork!

What we have left:
1. Save-A-Baby class (CPR) 3.10
2. Last homestudy class 3.13
3. Finish profile
4. Homestudy visits (we are thiniking that it will be two visits)
5. Baby Basics class

My CD 13 appointment went well. My lining was 7.7mm. I had a follie around 10.7mm on my 'bad' side. And, on my good side I had on between 20-24mm. I triggered last night and will have an IUI Sunday morning.

Luvkayln:  I know!  I love that he was doing that :)  Mine also do the one-eye look!  It's so adorable & you know they're just checking to see who's there :)  My baby shower at work was a lot of fun.  It was so cute because the judges' secretary came up the elevator with us & ran ahead saying, she's here!  she's here!  Haha!  It was cute :)  We did get lots of cute things & also a rainforest jumperoo!  I can't wait til they can play with their toys :)  Although the shower was only til 1:30, we didn't leave til 3:30, just catching up with everyone.  Definitely keep me posted on your friend's pregnancy!  My friend's IVF didn't work.  She's pretty bummed, but trying to be happy for me.  I can imagine how dificult that is...  Hopefully it'll work for her & her dh soon.  Well, I hope it's a beautiful day & Addy can get out and enjoy the geese at the park! )

Nino7:  I think I told you before that my thickness was never above a 5!  I constantly worried about it, but my RE never seemed too concerned.  the only difference with my BFP cycle is that we did IVF, so more meds & progesterone injections rather than inserts.  That's the only thing I can think of that could have made a difference.  Otherwise, my doc was right & it really doesn't matter?!?  I don't know.  Definitely talk to your doc about progesterone.  I actually have about three unupened boxes of Endometrin.  If your doc decides to put you on that, I can help you out )

BabyMadd:  I'm sorry, I welcomed you in my head, but realize I didn't type it out!  :)  Welcome to our thread!  I'm sorry about your bfn the other day, but I agree you should wait & test again on Monday.  Good luck to you!!!

Mommyin10- Aww.. how sweet about Ricky putting his hand out like that! That's adorable!! Just making sure mommy is still there! ;) That reminds of me of when Addy was first born and would have her eyes shut, she would once in a while open just one eye to see who was holding her and once she saw, she'd go back to sleep! It was adorable! :) I know, isn't it horrible to watch them get their shots?! I hated it...! And guess what, you have to go through it again with them at 2 months, 4 months and 6 months appointments! :( How'd your shower go today? Even though it was only for an hour or so, at least everyone got to see you and vice versa! :) I think you're just an awesome mommy how much time you spend with the babies while they're at the hospital! I know we'd all be the same way, but you've definately been a trooper for these babies and you've definately gotten the best reward... 2 beautiful, healthy babies! :) Isn't it funny how you go from having no kids to have 2, and one of each at that?! That's just awesome! :) Thanks about my friend! :) She's nervous b/c she didn't see the baby yesterday, just a thick lining, but I told her that's all your supposed to see at 4 weeks! I understand where she's coming from though, we've all been there! :) Her next appointment is on the 22nd, so we should see something then! :) Hey, how'd your friends IVF go??

Keyan- Yes, SO serious about my bra size! So you'll definately be an F... lol! :) We had fun at the park today! Addy slept the whole time though! I was kinda bummed b/c I wanted her to see the geese! But the park is close, so we'll be going all the time once the weather stays beautiful! :) Isn't it funny how your dreams can seem so real? :)

Babymadd- I'm so sorry, but AF still isn't here, so that's a great sign! Give it a couple more days and then re-test! Plus, the digital tests are less sensitive I've heard. Hang in there!

Nino7- 7mm endo isn't bad. I mean, my doctor always wanted to see it around 8mm, so you're not too far off. The progesterone will definately help with that though! :) I definately recemmend getting an iui done since your dh has low motility. That will give the little swimmers a boost! :) Have you talked to anyone about doing that? I think seriously if you do that, your  chances will be SO much higher!! :)

Well, gotta get ready! We're going out to dinner with my parents tonight! :) Oh, and Addy's getting dedicated at our church on Sunday! Everyone at church has been praying for us, so it's neat to see everyone so excited to see her every sunday! :)

luvkayln,
we will try naturally this month. Last month we were thinking to do IUI but we end p trying naturally. the doc put me on clomid so I end up with 3 mature eggs. I O by myself, but the doc said its better to increase the chances by talking clomid.
as you already know, unfortunately I didn't get pregnant this month.  My husband has okey count 23m/ and low motility 45% (active and sluggish).
Am already concern about my endo thickness its 7mm on CD12, most doc like to see it at least 9 or 10. This month I want to ask my doc to work on increasing the thickness by maybe giving me estrogen and progesterone.

Am not sure why am not getting pregnent? is it my dh sperm or its my endo or maybe omething else.

prayers to all who want a baby :)

Hi, ladies :)  Okay, now I know how luvkayln used to feel when she'd type up a long, drawn out message & then she'd be kicked off the computer!  That happened to me late last night.  Ugh! :)

So, today is my  baby shower at work & I'm so excited to see everyone!  I've kept in close contact with three friends, who also came to my other shower, but I ca't believe its' been almost 3 months since I've seen everyone else...

The babies are doing great!  Ricky is up over 4 1/2 pounds & actually got his hepatitis shot yesterday while I was there.  (They wait til they're 2000+grams)  Oh, the poor boy was so sad! ;(  I told him to open his eyes so he could see it was the nurse giving it to him and not me!  hee hee.  Luckily it was just time for his feeding & being held by mommy, so everything was okay :)  He's doing really well breastfeeding & it's helping with his bottle feedings too.  He's learning how to pace himself, which is great!  He's up to 4 bottle/breast feedings per day just like his sister :)  Ava is now just over 4 pounds!  She's doing great & both of their personalities are really showing.  It's just amazing!  When I held RIcky yesterday, he put his hand out to me & I kissed it.  You know how you would pretend to eat it, if that makes sense?  Well, I did that & then every once in a while as I held him, he would stick his hand out again, with his eyes closed, and I'd do it again :)  It was almost like he was testing to see if I was still there :)
Today we'll go to our shower from noon til 1:30 and then we'll go to the hospital from there.

luvkayln & Keyan:  Yes, as soon as they take each of their feedings via bottle or breast, then they'll be okay to come home.  Right now they're each doing half of their feedings, but they're really picking it up & can be to full bottle/breast feedings in a matter of days.  So, we'll just wait and see how they do :)  Now, dh and I have to hurry to get the house ready for their homecoming! :)  dh jokingly tells them if they don't slow down, they're gonna have to come home! :)

luvkayln:  Congrats to your friend & to you!  I know how exciting it is for you to have a close friend going through a pregnancy :)  That is just such wonderful news!  I'm excited for the shower.  It's at my workplace during their lunch, so it won't be a long one, but will be fun :)

Keyan:  Haha!  Your dream was too funny and cute :)  Hey, could be that  you weren't thinking of me at all & that you may adopt a pair of twins??  You never know!  You and dh will be awesome parents & I'm just so excited that you're going through this adoption journey.  I know it's a long process because dh's dad & step mom went through it as well.  You & dh will do great!  And it'll keep your mind off ttc, which is another plus.

sbumblebeeo:  First of all, congrats for being off bedrest! :)  Keep in mind, though, that you've been following me this whole time & my babies were born the day I was to be off bedrest...  hee hee :)  How funny that our girls were/are both breech, too!  Don't worry too much about your scheduled C Section date.  Shelby will come in her own time & remember that my scheduled C Section date hasn't even happened yet.  It was set for March 19 & my babies are now two weeks old :)  Also, if you're in the hospital or a new mommy at home over Easter, it won't ruin anyone's holiday & that'll honestly be the last thing on your mind.  I was put on strict bedrest & didn't see any family or friends over Christmas or the New Year and that's just how it had to be.  No one cared, except to worry about me, you know?  Your family will be so excited for you & those difficult family members won't even pop into your mind :)  Oh, as far as the breast milk, I agree with luvkyaln.  It doesn't matter what size you are.  I'm small too & my milk started coming in 3 days after the babies were born.  At first, I pumped & got nothing, but I remember being told many times not to get discouraged & I'm so glad I remembered that because when I got a tiny drop of milk on day 3, I was ecstatic! :)  Now that I'm pumping often and having the babies close to me, the flow will continue.  Mine were supplemented with formula until my milk came in & when I only made a little, they got the rest in formula.  So, I'm sure you'll be jjust fine! :)  Enjoy being off bedrest & be sure to get some Tylenol for your cramps!  You're our next mommy & I know we're all excited for you!!!

babymadd: sorry about the BFN, hopefully you are still early!

luvkayln: Happy weekend! I am sure you will have a great time at the park! we have to get a doctors certificate of good health for the adoption, we will be working tomorrow on that. I know! isn't the dream too funny! I actually saw in the dream my nipples dripping milk! ha ha ha! too funny!! ;o) ...btw are you serious on the bra size?! I am a little big...actually a C, so that mean, what?! an F??! on NO!! ;-o

mommyin10: I forgot your other shower is today! hope you have a great time and get lots of goodies!! I can't for you to update us on the date for the babies graduating and going home!!
