Calling All Women of Strength!!!

A Strong Woman VS. A Woman Of Strength

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape…
But a woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.

A strong woman isn't afraid of anything…
But a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of fear.

A strong woman won't let anyone get the better of her…
But a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone.

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…
A woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected blessings and capitalizes on them.

A strong woman wears a look of confidence on her face
But a woman of strength wears grace.

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey…
But a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

hi everyone.

mommyin10: thanx for adding me to the list :) gud luck for your appt. hope it happens on the first try!

rachjas: thanx for the tip. i guess the tracker's a gud idea :) i'm doing it right now. gud luck on ur appt with the nurse.

Jessie: wow congrats. what a cute story (though probably wasnt much fun for u..but u got ur li'l bundle!). my hi and welcome to little Zachary Kaden! :)

hi luvkayln. you sound really stressed. take it easy hon. and dont worry about the emotions, i'm sure they're not u as much as the hormones. hope evrything comes under control.

keyan: yep u're right abt the tracker. i'll be putting that up. gud luck on ur first day of work tomorrow!

well, 15dpo and temp still maintaining high, cramping badly. cramps feel like when u run really fast during AF. it feels like about the 3rd day of AF, i can really FEEL the achiness of bleeding...i just wish i wud either get preg OR jst get my AF. i hate being stuck in b/w cycles :(
and like i said, my luteal phases are usually just 11-12 days, so i usually get to start early on my next cycle when nuthing happens but this time...

has anyone had sumthing like this for sum reason? i mean, when you KNOW O happened but no AF turns up on time AND u get a BFN. cud sumthing else be wrong?

anyways, i've put up my O tracker. i've only entered the temps this month. if u ladies can take a look at it when you find the time, that wud b great.

i use the Celsius scale coz i like those patterns better. it's clearer.

in a nut shell, LMP was 17May
Ov was 31May (confirmed by follicle study)
first temp rise on 1June (corresponds to O)
second temp rise on 8June (most of my cycles have shown triphasic, so propably means nuthing)
and a third temp rise on 13June (this hasnt happened b4.ths is whn AF usually shows up)
beta HCG at 1.39 on 13June.

i haven't entered temps for 4&5 June coz those r the days i had a fever.

take care!

LooLoo: Maybe go in for a repeat beta today? Maybe you implanted really late...Good Luck!

Jessie: Congrats!!!! I hope you can post pics soon :-) Hpe you both are doing great!

Luvkayln: Can you go down to part-time? I"m hoping I can find a part-time job...I can't imagine doing a ton of massages in one day while pregnant lol - I would pass out!

Mommyin10: I hope the trial transfer goes well! Good luck :-) Yay for starting Lupron!!!

Candie: Have you O'd yet? Are you taking meds this month?

Mrspace: Good luck with the clomid!!!

Well here's a short recap of yesterday - all was going well, DS and potty training are going good once again. DS went down for nap. Laying out in the sun=good. Falling asleep on stomach=okay. Falling asleep in the sun on my stomach=BAD!!! The backs of my thighs are sooooo burnt! It looks like I have some sort of disease or something lol...
So, I'm cooking dinner on the grill last night - run out of propane...So I took the potatoes and pork chops over to the neighbors to finish it - Thankfully, they're grill was already hot from their dinner. Okay, Crisis resolved.
After dinner, we taked DS and the dogs to a park/lake area so they can swim. We go down to the spillway as always and DS and I are walking and I find the bottom of a broken beer bottle (DS had water shoes on). So of course, I pick it up and try to throw it into a thing of trees and weeds so no one gets hurt by it - Yeah, well it gouged a piece of my finger out...It bled sooo much! Of course, I go into freakout mode thinking that this cut is somehow going to affect my pregnancy lol and told DH I needed to go see if any of the fisherman had a first aid kit - Yeah, none of them did. I ended up pouring bottled water on it and soaking it in wet napkins until we got home lol. It still hurts!

Okay, so maybe that's not a short recap, but maybe I gave you gals a little chuckle :-)
I'll check in later today!!!

Hugs, Love and SSBD to all :-)

mommyin10- Typed it wrong. Trigger is 6.23 (yep it's our 2 year ann!) and Er is 6.25! But, of course that's if all goes as planned with my E2 levels, number of follies and so on. I will know better at the end of this week! Our goal is to transfer 2, 5 day blasts. RE won't allow more than that for my age most likely. Now, if our quality is low..she may?!? Yep, I am mixing my follistim (175iu) and repronex (75iu) (low dosage--- not sure how I am going to react). That way it's one shot and not two! It all depends on your protocol. Some RE's want you to do one in AM other in PM. Or perhaps the same meds twice a day.

Keyan- Yea, only 2 more Lupron shots to go. Do you have side effects from them? Or, are you just used to them now? I wasn't havin any problems with mine... until that last few days. My last BCPS was Monday. Wednesday.... oh boy... I have had a dull headache since. I am sooo naueous. The only thing I am taking different is this lupron. I wonder if I am feeling this way due to that?!?! And about the incision... yep perfectly normally! Mine is extra icky! I have a vertical incision from surgery when I was 12.. and now I have 4 small incisions from my lap (like a baseball field) along with my appendix scar.... : (

Jessie- Congrats again! He is soo cute!

Good morning! Thanks ladies for all your support! It means a lot! :) It's just hard when I'm working so much, and so is Sean (b/c he's been doing side jobs at night after working his 10 hour day) and then us both coming straight home and going to bed b/c we're so pooped! I just feel like we haven't spent any time together this past week, and usually when we don't see each other, we argue b/c we're frustrated about that, ya know? Hopefully this week will be better! :)

Mommyin10- Good luck at your appointment today! :) I can't wait to hear how it goes! You should get a more definate idea of when you'll be starting/ending certain meds and then when your ER and transfer are, right? Ooh, I can't wait!!!! :) Thanks for your note yesterday! All I did was lay around the house, and it felt SO good! My body really needed that! You're right, Sean and I will be just fine, it just gets hard sometimes, ya know? Yes, I still am training another girl, but when it comes to weddings, I feel that I need to be there b/c she's just now getting into working the private events. So for now we're working those together, and when I feel like she's "got it" then we'll start alternating weekends so we each have 2 weekends off during the month. :) Thanks for all your support! :)

Dnikki- I really wish I could go down to part-time, but that's just not an option right now. Maybe when I get closer to having the baby. Sean said we could afford for me to not work, but then that'll just mean that he'll be the one working all the time and I'll never see him, so i know I for sure don't want that! Good luck on the job hunting, and congrats on your great numbers! :) Hey, your first u/s is the day after mine! I'm sure you're SO excited!!!! :) Did you add your Pregnancy tracker yet? How far along is it saying you are?

LooLoo- Thank you and Welcome! :) I agree with dnikki that it's either a late implantation or you're just having a "different" cycle. I remember I had a cycle like that, where I knew what day I ovulated b/c I was being monitored, but my period never came and I wasn't pregnant. So I had to take provera to bring on a period. Maybe just wait a couple more days, retest and if it's negative, call your doctor and ask them what's the next step? But since you're cramping maybe AF is on her way? Good luck either way! If no BFP this month, next month is a new chance! :)

Mrspace- Hey, I never got to congratulate you on AF coming! That's awesome she heard my AF cheer for you! lol :) Good luck with the clomid!! I'm excited that you're trying again!!! :)

Oh guess what girls! Last night I found the baby's h/b for the first time on my fetal heart monitor! It was just awesome! :) I have been trying to find it since 9 weeks! lol :) His/Her heartrate was 161!! :)

Good morning ladies!
Sorry I did not have time to check in over the weekend.  We were quite busy!  Saturday we went and bought our crib and dresser/change table.  Then we spent Sat evening putting it together.  Well, I sat and read the instructions and organized all the nuts, bolts and screws! :)  Anyway, it is put together and starting to look like a baby's room.  After getting the news last week we were both motivated to start getting stuff done.  Plus the fact if I have any more bleeding or complications I could be in the hospital until little Jake is born.  Anyway, I feel good that it is done!  I just need to cozy up the room with some art (already ordered) and an area rug.  Yesterday was my nephews second birthday party.  We got him a battery operated 3 wheeler vehicle.  He loved it so much I don't think I ever saw him smile sooo big!  It was really cute.

Mommyin09 - Good luck today!!!  I am eager to hear how the trial transfer goes and what they say.  So are you still going ahead with ICSI even though your RE is fairly certain why dh's sa results were not so good?

Luvkayln - Sorry about you and dh :(  I know what you mean though.  When dh and I get really busy and don't see each other we almost get out of sync and start to almost get mad at each other for it.  Hopefully you guys can spend some nice quality time toghether this week.  And yippee for finding the heartbeat!!!  Isn't it so wonderful to hear and also being able to listen whenever you want??  I have not had to use mine in a few weeks because Jake has been so active.

Rachjas - Wow...you are moving right along!!!  Your ER and transfer are coming up sooo fast!  How nice that it is all around your anniversary :)

Looloo - Welcome!!  It sounds like you definitely need to either take an hpt or have your beta redone??  Good luck!!!

Dnikki - Sorry about your finger!!!  Ouch.  I'm sure you will be fine and it won't affect your pregnancy ;)  But I know sometimes it feels like the pregnancy is so delicate and paranoia sets in.  Especially after trying for a long time!!  But your beta numbers looked great!!  Can't wait for your u/s!

Jessie - WOW!  Congratulations!!!  Zachary is adorable and a big boy for coming early!!!  Glad you are both doing well and keep the pictures coming.

Leighanne - Thanks!  How long did it take you to be up and about after your c-section?  I'm trying to determine if we are going to need to have someone stay with us for a few days afterwards.

Mrspace - Yay for af!!  Hopefully you can get back to a somewhat normal schedule!!  The clomid should definitely help you.  What dosage did they give you?

Candie - Too bad you need to wait for your ultrasounds until next cycle but it was totally worth it for your vacation right!?

Guesito - Hope you find a new RE very soon!!  The other one and the staff sound like morons.  So frustrating!!!  When do you find out about the tubal reversal?  Wouldn't it be great if that worked and you didn't need to bother with anymore IVF???

Well...I'm still working from home these days (my work is being soo flexible!!) but I actually have a lot to do today!  It's easy to get distracted with the nice weather and Honey cuddles but I need to really try to focus today! :)

SSBD!!!

Hi everyone :)

I'm doing good - gaining weight (apparently just the right amount) and getting bigger.  It's more difficult to get off the couch, but the hubbie helps me :)

We just had our 3 year anniversary and went up to Tahoe to celebrate.  Man, it's hard to go back to work after that!  My next appointment is Wednesday: my 24 weeks (6 MONTHS already!!)

Congrats Dnikki!!!  I hope you all are well.  It looks like you are all up beat and positive this Monday morning :)

Good morning everyone!

I am cd4 now and doing just fine!  AF was kicking my butt those first 2 days, but now it's down to super light.  I think it'll stop in the next day or two.  The doctor was right!  He said it should only last around 5 days.  So far so good.  We start clomid tomorrow, and I'm nervous.  Super nervous.  He's starting us on 50mg, but we actually have the opportunity to increase it.  My last dr said that if you didn't get pregnant on 50mg of clomid within 2 months, there was no point in trying anymore.  After two months for us, she was ready to schedule my hysterectomy because she said I obviously couldn't get pregnant.  Again..we all know she's not smart.

Well this dr says that if I O past cd16, he's upping my dose.  And he said that if we are having no luck in 6 months, we'll discuss IUI or injectables.  It's nice having a game plan.  It really makes dh and I feel better.  Last time we felt like we had this huge ultimatum.  Get pregnant now, or never.  It was so hectic and stressful.  Now we feel more relaxed.  If it doesn't happen...that's cool.  We'll keep trying.  He said he'd keep me on clomid for years, as long as I'm not overstimulated.  It's great.

The weekend went well.  I had dinner with my amazing family on Saturday.  DH and I had a great time down at my mom's.  We watched Gran Torino.  AMAZING movie.   Yesterday, my in laws were making me mad. I've been having bad headaches for the past week.  Well yesterday DH had a softball game. I don't go to the games because dh likes his "father/son" time with his dad.  His mom goes to the games and annoys them both.  So I don't go. I let him have his time.  Before the game we had to go over for cake and ice cream for my SIL's birthday.  We've done something EVERY NIGHT for the past week for her birthday.  Going to bars, out to dinner, cake and ice cream, going shopping.  The didn't even tell me happy birthday last year.  SIL gets a week of celebration.  Whatever.  Well, we went to that but then I went home.  Apparently my MIL got mad that I didn't go to the game.  She said that she didn't like softball, but she still went to support her husband because that makes her a good wife.  Like, not going makes me a bad wife.

Oh well.  Sorry, I needed to vent that.   Otherwise I had a GREAT Weekend!!!  I treated dh to a full body massage after dinner last night.  He was so sore from him game.  It was nice to treat him to that.  He deserves it.  He's so amazing!

mommyin10- I hope your appt goes well!!!

luvkayln- Again, thank you for the AF cheer.  I'm doing really well with everything. I'm nervous to start clomid tomorrow, but I'm excited too.  DH and I have high hopes for this time around.  And to be honest, I couldn't do it without all of you.  You all have been such great support.  How are doing?  How's that littel peanut?

stacey- How are you and Jake doing?  That's so great that you got his crib and furniture.  You should take pictures of his room!  I'd love to see it!

dnikki- How are you feeling hun?  I hope you're doing great.  I tried to call you this weekend, but my phone was being weird.

keyan- I'm counting down the days with you, girl!!!  I am so excited that you'll be able to TTC again after only 2 more shots! I hope the time flies for you!

looloo- Welcome!!  I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!

morning all hope everyone is ok

mrspace you sound like you have a really great doc that must be such a relief. How horible your mil sounds how do you react to that sort of attitude it must be hard to bite your toungue.I know my in laws can be difficult and I trully have to let it go over me to keep the peace.

mommyin10 good luck today how interesting a trial I havent come across that before what do they actually do?

looloo Hi and welcome  its nice to have someone on the list with me I agree with everyone perhaps another test is in order.

luvkayln  I understand how you and dh feel we're the same when life gets busy.It must be hard working all the hours you are. Please rest as much as poss when you can.

jessie congrats how do you feel does it feel real yet?

dnikki you havent had much luck have you how are your legs and finger sounds painful

Mrspace: Not feeling too bad (read below) except for my legs and finger (read above post lol). How are you doing?

So, I'm eating lunch and then off to the post office to mail out 26 flipping resumes! There would be more, but I ran out of envelopes lol...
I keep forget to share my p/g "symptoms",,, Well, I have bouts of nausea every now and again. Nothing like they were with DS (yet). I started making dinner earlier so we aren't eating at 6-630 at night. We eat now between 515-530 and that has cut down on the nausea and vomiting. Most of all - I am utterly exhausted! I could sleep until 10 a.m then go back down for a nap at 2 then bed at 8 lol :-) The other thing is - When I lay down to read, I always bring my knees up, but it feels like I'm hitting a ball in my abdomen when I do that...It's kind of wierd, but hopefully a good sign :-) Also, when I get hungry, I better eat now lol!

Hi, ladies! :) My appt went really well. It really was a piece of cake (aside from having to do it with a full bladder!) At least now I know how the transfer will go & it wasn't any different than an iui. Yay :) So, I was wrong. I won't start Lupron til Wednesday & i'll continue my bcp's through Sunday. Then my next appt is 6/27 for another u/s & I will start my stims then :) The one wrinkle is that they mentioned I hadn't done a blood test to see if I have an immunity to chickenpox. So, I did a blood test today & basically if it comes back that I do have that virus, I'll have to postpone my IVF & get an innoculation. They said you can just sign a waiver & still go through with it, but that's risking the health of the baby, so I wouldn't do that. The only reason I'm concerned that I might have the virus is because I had shingles three years ago... Hmmm, there's always something! I'll get those results later today. (fingers X'd!)

Looloo: I agree with the ladies. You should try to get another beta done & then you'll know if you are in fact pregnant & if not, you'll know if you just need to wait it out or take something to bring on AF. I know the "what if's" are the worst! Good luck! :)

Luvkayln: I'm so glad you had time to rest up this weekend & I'm sure detecting the hb was just music to your ears! (or your eyes?!) ;-)

Stacey: How awesome that you got Jake's crib put together (with a little help from dh!) "wink wink" I hope you'll post pics of his room! That's smart to get everything in order. Look at Jessie! She didn't know she'd be bringing Zachary home so soon! :) Yes, we'll still do ICSI. dh's S/A was always ok, but not superb ;) If our 1st IVF & then FET doesn't work, then he'll do another S/A before the next & we'll go from there.

Dnikki: I think you need to take it easy, Girl! :-) When it rains, it pours, huh?! Good fir you sending out do many resumes! Best of luck to you!

Mrspace: I'm excited for you to start your clomid tomorrow!

Oops! Gotta get to work!

OOPS!  Just realized I posted on the old thread this morning.  Here's my post (Sorry if it's out of date, I'll catch up now on your posts today)...

mommyin10 - Good luck at your appointment today!  Thankfully DH's job won't affect his little guys when it comes time for the real thing.  Sorry, I know, my doctor adventures have been confusing!  I have a new OBGYN now (I sent the rude one packing! LOL) and he is wonderful.  You're right, if I don't get the referral, I can at least try to see the endo specialist at some point.  I'd like to get my bw/us results and see what those show first though.  I'm hoping there will be something small we can do there that may make the difference!  Maybe this cycle you could just keep counting my days (not dpo).  I didn't temp or do OPK's this time.  I may have O'd over the weekend based on my cm and ovualtion pain, but I'm not sure, just trying to take it easy this time.

luvkayln - I'm so sorry you've been so stressed with work and that it has spilled over into you interactions with Sean.  As much as we all know we shouldn't let work, stress, etc. get in the way of our relationships, we all do it sometimes.  Just hang in there and hopefully things will slow down for you soon.  I'm sure once you get the chance to spend some time together, things will be better.

Keyan - Hope you have a good day back at work today and you aren't in too much pain.  Thanks so much for your encouragement.  You're right, it's hard somedays, but we just have to keep remembering that God is at work and won't let us down.

Jessie - Congratulations!!  I've already commented on your pictures, but little Zachary is adorable!  Glad you are both doing well.  :)

Guesito - Hope you get things worked out and are able to switch doctors.  I went through a lot with my OBGYN and I know how hard it is when you realize you can't trust the person who is supposed to be responsible for your care.  Not a good feeling!  Thankfully you found out now and can find someone better.

Stacey - Hope you got a lot of rest over the weekend and that you and Jake are doing good!  How has Honey been?  I can't wait to see how she reacts to her little brother.  I know they'll be best friends!  :)

rachjas - Wow, you've got quite a full schedule!  Good luck with everything, and I'm sure it will all be worth it very soon!  Is it true that your transfer is on your anniversary?  How cool!

dnikki - Congrats on the beta!  I'm so happy your numbers look so good.  Glad you could find some new clothes.  I'm sure it will be hard to hide your good news, not only because of your belly, but because you're so excited too!

looloo - Welcome!  I'm so glad you decided to join us - the more the merrier!  :)  This is a great group of women and I know you'll find a lot of support here.  I'm so sorry for your struggles, but it's good to hear that your PCOS is better.  It sounds to me like your BBT could be a sign of something wonderful!  Oh, how I hope so!  :)  Be sure to keep us posted.  Just to introduce myself, my DH and I have been married for 5 years now, been TTC for 3, and we're now seeing a specialist to help figure out what's wrong since all of our tests up until now have been good.  Very frustrating, but hopefully we'll all be blessed very soon.

luvkayln - Yay, you found the hearbeat!  How exciting that you can now listen to it whenever you want.

dnikki - Wow, what a day.  I feel your pain on the sunburn.  I got toasted one day on vacation and my hips are still peeling and are so itchy!  I am so fair that even spf 70 didn't work, LOL!  To answer your question, I've been all natural for a while now.  Not sure when I O'd this month, just trying to relax this time.  Good luck with your job search!

Stacey - So exciting that you are getting the nursery all set up.  Any pictures?  I'm sure it's adorable.

Kaylee - I'm so happy that you are doing so well!  Congrats on your anniversary.  I hope you had a great trip.  I was just in the same situation as you last week - so hard to go back to work after vacation!  :(  Good luck at your appt, can't wait to hear how it goes!

mrspace - Good luck with the clomid!  I'm sure it's such a relief to have a plan!

mommyin10 - That's awesome that your appt went so well.  I'm glad to hear it was pretty easy!  I'll be praying that your test results are OK so that your process won't be delayed!

jesse... congrats on the baby... big boy for being early...

sorry i have been soooo missing in action... Daniel just does not want to sleep at night and i am really not sure how to cope... with having the other kids (aside from hunter =( who is in NC) home i cant really sleep during the day so that i can be up with him at night... so we are just trying to figure out WHY he isnt wanting to sleep... he will sleep for a few hours IF he is in bed with me so i have had to resort to that.. BUT i do not want that to become a habit... cause i know from experience when co-sleeping.. it gets really hard for them to go into thier own beds... ugh what to do what to do...lol

anyhow hope everything continues to go well for everyone... and for those who things are just not going that great... i am so sorry and hope that things look up for you...

hugs, luv and SSBD

stacey- i had my c-section late tuesday night and they get you up the next day.  so by wed early afternoon i got up and walked around.  that night i had the cathider taken out and went the bathroom on my own.  you dont even feel that thing because they have you on pain meds.  then by thursday AM i was up moving around.  you still feel sore in the belly area but you are able to move.  i would say that by the next week, maybe like 4 days after i got home, i was moving real good.  believe me the loving and motherly feeling that takes over your body helps the pain go away.  i wouldnt think you would need someone staying with you as long as your hubby is willing to help a little extra./  what i do say is let help come over during the day and take naps while someone is there you trust.  napping while you have help is key.  also never turn down someone offering to make you dinner or bring you dinner, its a life saver, other than that you dont eat cause you are so busy.  but truely the pain was not bad and i was up moving around fast.

hi everyone

i called my doc and she said the same as all of you. to check beta again. and i woke up with bad leg cramps.ugh. it really feels like AF.

luvkayln: hope u're not doing any running-around-type of work. hope u get done with the training soon so the work load reduces.
and abt ur "different" cycle, did u have the same prob with the high BBT? and how long before u had AF visit?
u take care!

Good mornign everyone

Looloo: I don't know what to say.....when do you go back to the doctor? ...maybe the 1.39 was wrong.....Are you sure it was 1.39? or maybe 139? today's number is a great number, but I don't know, usually numbers double every 48 hours, my best advice, consult your doc as soon ASAP, especially since you are having cramps. I hope it is a true and sticky BFP!!! can't wait for you update.

Mommyin10: Can't wait for your test results....MAN there is always something...I am happy it was soooo easy for you!!

Stacey: Please, please share some pics of Jake's room...how exciting!!! you are getting ready!!!

sorry so short, got to get back to work now, I will try to post later on today!!

Looloo:  Didn't the nurse indicate anything other than what your numbers were?  'Cause that sounds like a BFP to me!  Yes, definitely call your doctor & let us know asap!!!  Fingers X'd =)

Keyan:  Thanks!  I will update asap.  Hopefully the test will be negative so we can move forward ;)  How was your first day back to work?  We started a trial yesterday, so I'll be extra busy this week.  I'll try to check in, though.

pyar:  The trial transfer, as I'm told, is to determine the shape of your cervix & depth of your uterus in order to make the actual transfer less traumatic.  I had to empty my bladder 1 hour prior & then drink 16ounces of water 1/2 hour prior, so it was a good experience to know exactly what I'll be doing when the time comes for the transfer.  It was a pretty easy procedure, but I did get cramps late last night.  How are you feeling?

Mrspace:  Yay!  Today's the day =)  Good luck with the clomid!

Guesito:  Good luck to you!  I hope you find a wonderful doctor =)

Candie:  Sounds good.  I won't switch you to dpo & we'll see what happens! =)  Thanks for the good luck!

Luvkayln:  Enjoy your day off!!! =)

Stacey:  How are you feeling?  Have you received Jake's rug & artwork?

LooLoo-Wow!! It definately sounds like a BFP to me too! Congrats!! Really though, call your doctor and get confirmation of pregnancy; I'm with Mommyin10,  I'm suprised they just told you the number and not the number and a big congrats b/c you are pregnant?! Hhmm.... I hope you get some answers soon, and then we can add you to our BFP list! :) Keep us posted!!

Mommyin10- I can't wait for your results today! But I'm sure everything's just fine! Don't you love how they throw these little things in there, that may end up setting you back?! Aarrgh!! Do you know what time you'll get some answers today? Ok, so guess what? My doctor just now called me as I was in the middle of typing this, and she said my labs just came back. She had extra testing done with me b/c of my history with a m/c and a still born :( and she said 1 came back abnormal. She said I don't digest folate as well as normal people, and something else to where my blood may have a higher risk of clotting? I may have missed something b/c she was talking so fast! But anyway, she's having me take an extra folic acid a day along with my prenatal, and she's putting me on baby aspirin too. I thought that was crazy b/c I never had to do any of that with Kayln, and she said those extra tests probably weren't done when I was pregnant with her, and that's why she took precaution b/c I was SO about doing everything we can do for this baby, so I thought that was awesome of her to take those extra steps for me! :) Anyway, back to you! ;) Please keep us posted on your results today so we can really get excited about you moving forward!! :)

Candie- Thank you for the very sweet note! :) Sean and I are doing much better! It's just hard when we don't spend a lot of time together that we almost get aggrivated with each other for it! :( I've put in so many hours these past couple of weeks, with so many weddings, but thankfully we don't have anything more until this weekend, so I can enjoy an 8-4 shift for the next couple of days instead of an 11 hour day! I love that your not tracking your cycle this time!! Watch, this'll be the month! ;)

Mrspace- Good luck with the clomid today! :)

Pyar- Thanks, I'm enjoying a restful day off today! :)

Ok, better run to the store and pick up some baby aspririn and folic acid! Gotta do whatever it takes for my little one! :) Oh, Sean got to hear the baby's h/b for the first time last night! And oh my gosh, the little one was moving around like crazy! I kept having to chase him/her with the doppler! lol And I could tell it was being very active b/c the heartrate was 175! I don't think Kayln's ever got that high, and she was definately a very active baby! :) I've got a very, very active baby on my hands this time! lol ;) I'll check in later!!

Loo loo - 1466 is definitely a BFP.  Your first reading must have been wrong or something because 1466 is quite high!  Congratulations!  I would call back and clarify your first results and speak to someone who can give you some more info.  Are you going back for another beta in a couple of days?

leigh... i was the same with my csection... i had Daniel at 7:49 AM on a thursday... was in my room by 9ish... first thing i did was call down to kitchen and order breakfast (buttermilk pancakes and sausage) lol.... as soon as the tingling was completely gone from my legs and feet which was around noonish... i was up changing positions(going to sit on chair, ect...) and by 3-4 i had the cath out and was up going to the bathroom and such...after dinner around 6ish i was walking the halls with the isolette(bassinet thingy)... less than 12 hours after having csection... i slept pretty good that night although i kept forgetting to ask for pain meds sooo it took  a little longer to get it under control again... ugh!!! but by morning i was good and was in the shower by noon... i had him on thursday morning and was home on saturday morning... they let me leave a day early but i could have stayed til sunday if i had wanted to. i was driving by wednesday the 3rd onlt cause i had nobody to take me to get my staples out...then had to drive down to take son hunter to his grandma for summer vacation on the 6th...but i was feeling good and am healing great...only issue i have had is that i developed a BAD bladder infection(tmi..but..lots of blood clots in urine specimen)..and come to find out 2 days after i completed the meds that i am allergic to it (Cipro) and developed a head to toe rash...ugh!!!  it is slowly going away but i was worried i had caught something it looked so bad

anyhow that is my story...lol

Mommyin10 - Can't wait for your results!  Glad that the trial went well and it is really good that they do the trial transfer.  I didn't have one but I wonder if some of the issues I am having could be from the transfer since it is all to do where implantation occurred.  Because little Jake implanted low is the reason for all my issues.  Good luck and let us know!!  To answer your question the artwork has not arrived yet.  They said it should arrive no later than July 1.  I found a rug to match and am ordering today.  I will definitely post pics when I have everything in place :)

Luvkayln - Wow!  That is a high heartbeat!  So glad Sean was able to hear it :)  Have you done the Chinese gender prediction?  It was right for me - it was one of the only things that predicted boy!  Jake's heartbeat was high the first few weeks so everyone was predicting girl, including me..  ...but he is definitely a boy! :)  I can't wait for you to find out.

Mrspace - Good luck with the clomid!!!

Keyan - I will definitely share pictures once things are in place!  But, don't get your expectations too high!  I'm not that crafty or creative. :)  Glad you are feeling better!

Leighanne - Thanks for the info.  Dh is going to take at least 2 weeks, maybe 3 weeks off, so we will be fine.  I think I might have my mom stay with me a few days once he goes back to work.  I hope my recovery is as good and fast as yours!

Well...it is a beautiful day today and I was really busy yesterday so will take it easy today.  I'm having really bad rib pain - just under my bbs and around my back.  I think my rib cage is expanding.  I can't even wear a bra!  Thank goodness I can work from home :)

Have a great day all and I will check in later.

SSBD!

Okay everyone.  I need prayers!  My best friend Anna.  Here's the backstory:

She's married to a jerk of a Marine.  MY dh can't stand him.  Anna had cancer as a child and lost her leg.  They said she'd never be able to have children.  Well she was due July 17th.  Her husband has been treating her like ****.  They live in two different states right now.  He yells at her and is just terrible to her.  Well yesterday morning she wasn't feeling well.  She went into early labor.  4 weeks early.  After a long day and night of labor, she gave birth to her son early this morning (not sure of the actual time, around 1:30am ish).  He is in the NICU and isn't breathing real well right now. It was all stress induced. But she's doing fine and her family is keeping me updated.  Her husband should be there with her by now which makes me nervous.  I'm not too happy with him.  But, please keep little Aiden in your prayers.

As for me, I took my first pill of clomid today.  Yippee.  AF got pretty heavy yesterday, so hopefully it won't last too much longer.  But we'll see.  The good thing (TMI) is that there have been NO clots.  That's the first time in my entire life that I haven't had clots.

I hope you are all doing well.  I will write more later.  Gotta get back to work.

mommyin10- I just sent you a message. Everything went ok with DH's help! Just woke up with a welt that is very tender. Hopefully tonight it will be better.

mrspace- Your friend and her baby our in my thoughts.

luvkayln- That's great that they did those extra tests just to be sure. That's awesome that you have been able to hear the HB at home. I bet that's just amazing! When do you go back to the Dr?

Mrspace- I will keep little Aidan in my prayers.  I hope that her husband starts to treat her better.  She doesn't deserve to be treated badly.  It is awful that she was alone through her labor (well, without her husband).  But, since he was treating her bad anyway, maybe it was better that he wasn't there.  I hope her family was.

mommyin09- Please add me to the list.  I am taking bc pills and starting Lupron 10iu on June 28th.

Okay, so I'm freaking a little bit:
I woke up from my daily nap on the couch and kind of layed there for a couple of minutes. I could feel I really had to pee, but still waited a couple of mins before I got up. I had a sharp pain go across the front of my stomach while I was laying there. It didn't last long and I'm not spotting/bleeding but it's sort of how it was with my last m/c. I called my RE's office and I go in at 10 tomorrow morning. He has already left for today. I just don't even know what to think right now. I've had the af feeling cramps since before I got my bfp so those are normal for me...but not this kind of sharpness. It only happened once and it didn't last long... I don't know... Luvkayln did you have any of this???? I'm also doing chair massage tonight from 6-9. I don't even know if I should do it now...

dnikki- pains are to be expected as long as they do not stay constant.  but call your doctor and have him check you because it helps ease the mind.

stacey- i had stitches in my uterus and an awsome glue on my belly.  so no removal of staples. as for the glue, it worked great.

Mommyin10- Any news yet? Anxiously waiting, although I'm sure the results will be fine! :)

Rachjas- Thanks! I really feel great knowing my doctor is putting extra effort in for me! Yes, it is totally amazing to be able to hear the h/b whenever I want!! :) I just listened to it again just a few minutes ago. After I heard it again, I just got really excited and went into the baby's room and got out all my smaller maternity clothes and am washing them now! :) I definately need the pants, but the shirts can wait just a little longer. I like to show this belly off! :) How are you doing? Things are just moving right along for you!! :)

Dnikki- I completely agree with Leighanne. I had crampiness in the very beginning, it's so normal! Just try to take it easy today, and I'm sure you'll be so relieved when you leave the doctors office tomorrow! :) I'm sure they'll do an u/s and you'll see the sac, maybe more! :) Keep us posted, but most importantly, stay relaxed! Everything will be ok! :)

Stacey- I know! I don't think Kayln's ever got that high! :) Of course, I only got to hear the h/b with her once a month at my doctors appointments! I'm spoiling myself with this one, getting to hear it everyday! :) But honestly, it's for the reassurance, you know that!! ;) They say high heart rates are more common with girls, but we'll see! ;) Definately post pics of Jake's room, and congrats on getting it together!! I'm sure it's feeling more and more real everyday! I'm still in shock, it still doesn't seem real! I wonder why??! I'm almost 13 weeks! Hhmm... Sean's birthday is Thursday, and I'll turn 13 weeks on his birthday! That's kinda cool! :) I did the chinese birthchart. If I go by the first day of my LMP, which is how they calculate pregnancy, it says it'll be a girl. If I go by my actual ovulation date, it says it's going to be a boy! Well... that really helps! lol ;) What day did you go by when you did it?

Mrspace- Aiden will definately be in my prayers! Thank you for telling us!

So, I bought Sean a Father's Day card and it's from a child to their daddy, so what do you all think? We're going to see Kayln on Father's Day, should I put it out there before we go together and then when we get there, he'll see his card from his baby? I think it'll be better for something like that to happen, then for me to hand over the card from the babies, ya know? Any other ideas?? ;)

I'm doing better now - thanks ladies. It really scared me though because it wasn't a cramp it was sharp pain. I've had AF like cramps since before my bfp so I know those are normal. I'm still having those types of cramps so I'm hoping thats a good sign. Just please keep me in your prayers that everything is okay :-)
I'll update more tomorrow - plus I'm a bit ticked at a friend. To tired to go on about it tonight...

dnikki- oh no, you get very sharp pains at times.  what til your uterus starts really stretching, those pains are painful and odd.  the unfortunate part is, and i know first hand, when you have trouble getting preg or have many MC's, you dont enjoy some parts of your pregnancy and tend to worry.  it is totally normal but also unfortunate cause other women that just are able to get preg and stay preg dont worry about all the stuff we do.  hang in there.  all is going to be fine and make sure if you have any quesitons you ask us so we can help ease your mind.

Leighanne and everyone else...: I hope everything is fine...I just can't wait until 10 today for my appt. When I was p/g with ds, I don't remember sharp pains, but I do remember the cramping. When I had my m/c April '08 - I was actually on the acupunture table. I had do it to help me get p/g and I took a hpt that morning and it said pregnant. I was on the table with the needles in me and I had the worst pain roll through my abdomen. I think it was worse than what happened yesterday and it lasted longer too. I still didn't spot or anything - maybe I wasn't far enough along for that to happen immediately or something, I don't know... I had a dream last night that my RE did an u/s and something with a needle in my leg (lol, I know the needle in the leg is far fetched...)but everything was fine. So I'm hoping that's my sign from God telling me he wouldn't do that to me...Just keeping my fingers crossed...

Luvkayln - I just checked the Chinese calendar and I would have used the transfer date - so the equivalent of your ovulation date, and your age when you give birth.  So, maybe a boy????  We shall see! :)  I agree with Rachjas, I like your idea of putting the card there before you guys get there. Dnikki: my friend, I will be thinking and praying for you, hoping your appt turns out better than expected.

Stacey: hey there! baby's room always look beautiful, it doesn't matter if you are crafty or not...just to see a crib and baby stuff makes everyone go awwww sooo cute!! ;o)...I hope you feel a little better today.

Luvkayln: the story of your little one's heartbeat and "running" around is just too cute!!! ohh also the idea of the card is great....I think placing the card for him, before he gets there is really nice. Is it a card from each one or from both babies? ...have you been able to spend time with him....I know tomorrow will be special for both of you!! enjoy it!!

Looloo: How are you? any update? Hope everything is fine.

Mommyin10: I hope the trial doesn't keep you too busy, for how long will it last? ...try to take it easy as much as possible, you are on your way preparing your babies "room" for the next 10 months!! How exciting!! good luck today with starting lupron, hope it doesn't bring any uncomfortable side effects.

MrSpace: your friend and the baby are in my thoughts and prayers.

LinaG: Hey there!! How are you? How is the new job?

Candie: Hey!! Just two more days until Friday!! YAY!! I am praying this "easy going" cylce not keeping a chart or doing OPK result in a great sticky BFP surprise!!

Rachjas: Good luck with your stims! How do you feel?

Mommyin10: How did everything go?

Hannah: Glad all your work up is done - when do you expect the results?

Okay, so my friend story: I worked with her at the chiropractors office - we don't talk on the phone or anything but whatever. So we were doinig chair massage last night for a grand opening and she asks me if DH and I are still trying to have a baby - I tell her yes and I ask her if her and her BF are still together and she says no blah blah blah and then she says she might be p/g...and she doesn't want to be (mind you this is AFTER she asked if we are still trying...) I aksed her what she was going to do if she was..she said she'll have to take care of it!!! I asked her well, couldn't you at least consider adoption? And she says no - she doesn't want to disappoint her family WTH??? So, I'm guessing if she is, that her ex won't even know and she'll go abort it. What freaking ever. I can't stand people like that!!! So that is my vent...
I'm leaving in about 20 minutes for my appt. I'll update as soon as I know something.

Good morning everyone!

Day 2 of clomid, and it's going okay.  I was in some pain last night.  I don't remember that from the first time around.  The pain seemed to start around my ovaries and it "radiated" in and down and I felt like I had A TON of pressure on my cervix.  I still feel that way a little bit today.  AF is heavy with some "baby clots".  I can barely call them clots.  So it's still SO much better than before.  I talked to my dr today and he said that we're going to skip the monitoring this month.  Just see what happens with 50mg.  Next cycle we will start all of the monitoring.  And he said not to worry about the pain.

Okay, update for my beautiful baby Aiden.  Anna, my friend, is doing WONDERFULLY.  She was pretty sore all of yesterday (duh, she pushed a kid out). But she's doing great and is feeling rested.  Turns out that when her husband got to the hospital he went on this crazy yelling spree.  He took one look at the baby and "because he doesn't look 100% puerto rican, he accused Anna of cheating on him.  Anna, is the fairest skinned caucasian red head that I've ever seen.  Aiden looks a lot like her.  Just with brown hair.  So the hospital staff escorted him out and he's not allowed in the hospital now.  Aiden is doing great.  He's still using the oxygen mask, but he's doing great.  No news on when they'll be released yet.

Thank you all for your prayers.  It was a really scary thing.  I'm just glad they are all ok.

dnikki- I hope that your appointment goes well today.  I will be waiting for your update.  And I'm so sorry that your friend was being so hateful.  That's terrible.  My cousin (who is my age and getting married in 2 months) basically told Richard and I that we were stupid for using fertility meds.  She said two things:  First of all, she'd never use them because her and her dh's love has no limits, unlike ours.  Because obviously we didn't feel that we could love an adopted baby.  We're being selfish by wanting a child of our own.  Second, she said that if God wanted me to be pregnant, He'd make me pregnant.  I shouldn't HAVE to use fertility drugs.  It was aggrivating.  But whatever!  You are an amazing woman and I'm so happy for you.  Chin up and call me if you EVER need anything.  Even just to vent.

mommyin10- Congrats on starting Lupron!  I'm so excited for you!

luvkayln- Hey girl. How are you doing?

stacey- Thanks for the prayers.  I hope that you and Jake are doing great!  I can't wait to see pictures of the little guy.  Not too much longer now!!!  I have photos of Aiden that I'll be putting up at lunch.

Luvkayln:  I LOVE the Father's Day card idea! =)  I think dh will be so touched by that.  Let me know how it goes!  Sorry I've been away.  I work in a courtroom that's normally not too busy, but because so many courtrooms are busy & people are off, my judge & I started a civil trial.  It turns out that after finishing around 4:30 each day, the attorney wants me to email the transcript to him asap that night... so, by the time I pack up all my stuff & get in my office, it's 5:00 & I've been staying till 7:15 to just scan/proofread a day's worth of testimony so I can email a rough draft to him.  I normally get home at 4:00, so getting home by 8:00 has been an adjustment ;-)  The trial should end today, which is good 'cause tomorrow night dh & I are boarding the boat for our fishing trip!  I'm excited.  We'll go Thursday night & get up early Friday & fish all day.
Oh, I called the doc's office for my test results & they weren't ready yet.  They were going to call me back later in the day, but never did.  I was hoping I'd get them before starting the Lupron (just in case), but oh, well.  I started my Lupron today & it wasn't bad at all!  (dh did it & I didn't look)  heehee ;)  Anyway, hopefully it doesn't affect me 'cause nausea on a boat doesn't quite mix!  I'll let you know when I get those results.
Hey, sorry about your test results, but that is awesome that your doctor did them & has some different insight for you!  Taking baby aspirin & an extra folic acid sounds like an easy solution, too!  I'm so happy to hear that you are being looked after so closely =)  Well, I'll try to check in later!  Have a great day =)

Stacey:  Hey, that's good to know about the placement of the embryo.  It's interesting that Jake's positioning could be causing your situation.  I had never thought of that!  The artwork sounds like fun & I can not wait to see pics of his room!  I bet it looks (will look) SO cute =)

Joyce:  Wow, I can't imagine doing all you've done right after your delivery.  I'm glad you're feeling better, though & hopefully you're getting some much needed rest ;)  How's Daniel doing?  How are the kids adjusting to him?

mrspace:  I'm so sorry about your friend & little Aiden ;(  I hope her family gives her a lot of support, so her husband isn't her only influence...  I'll keep her & baby in my prayers ;)  Yay, I know starting "something" is always exciting & let's hope the clomid is just what you need now that your cycle is more regular.

dnikki:  I hope your worries are relieved at your appt today.  I'm sure it's scary, but I bet everything will be okay ;)  I'll be thinking of you!  I'm sorry about your "friend" and her total disregard for her baby & for your feelings.  I agree, sometimes you wonder why it's so easy for certain people to get pregnant when the rest of us are trying so hard & then they can just toss it away... it's so sad ;(

mrspace:  I was just waiting for you to let me know.  I added you today ;)

Hannah:  Good for you!  Let us know when you get your appt.  I know you've been waiting for this, so I'm so happy for you!

Keyan:  Thanks ;)  I'm still waiting for the blood test results, but I did start my Lupron today & it was so easy!  Of course, dh did it & like I told luvkayln, I wasn't looking ;)  Hopefully it doesn't make me feel sick later in the day!  The trial should only go through today, which is great.  The good thing is that I get extra $ when I do daily transcripts, so it will go towards paying for the things "I thought" were covered, like the anesthesia, trial transfer, ICSI & freezing of the embryos...  It keeps adding up!  But yes, it's worth it =)  How's work going?

LooLoo:  Any news???

Well, I did my best to catch up!  Geez, so much happens when you're gone for a day =)  Take care & have a wonderful Wednesday!!!

Geez, WTF!?  I wouldn't put up with that cr ap for a minute, especially now with a helpless little one to care for.  I hope your friend is strong enough to carry on without him.  I'm glad to hear Aiden is doing well! ;)  Sorry about the pain, but hopefully it's just something new for you body & in time you'll get used to it.

I wouldn't put up with his c r a p either.  Anna is so young. She's only 19 and has been through so much already.  And trust me when I say...the c r a p he's doing right now is NOTHING compared to these last few weeks.  He's been going to strip clubs, traveling 200 miles away from his base to see his single friends.  And yelling at her when she gets upset because she doesn't know where he is.  He says it's his business not hers.   She is such a strong girl.  Right now she said she's not going to make any decisions about her marriage until her and Aiden are healthy and out of the hospital.  Then she'll make some decisions.  She only has one aunt, her mom, and her 10 year old brother with her.  I'm planning on taking a trip to see her soon.  Her mother and brother are moving to FL later this summer and she isn't moving with them.  So DH and I offered to have her come live with us for as long as she needed, if things don't work out with her husband.  We just want her to be safe.  I will be posting photos of baby Aiden in a few hours. He's so precious!

Oh, and no worries about the pain. I remember having some cramping with clomid last time.  And it's so worth it.  It's more annoying than anything right now.

Back from my appt. I had an u/s and we saw the yolk (small but there) and also the sac. There is some fluid in there - he doesn't know what it is. He said possibly it was a twin, blood from the baby (unsure of why...didn't explain that part) or it could be the start of a m/c. But he also said he doesn't do many u/s on women who are 4w6d b/c you can't really see anything - so he's also thinking alon g the lines maybe it's more common than he thinks. But he didn't like it in there but he did say for me being so early everything else looks great. They took more blood - I should find out by 2 today what my level is. I'll also go back on Friday for another level. I'm still scheduled for my u/s next wednesday so hopefully this isn't anything more to worry about and all is well and cleared up by that time. So, hoping my levels come back great this afternoon and on friday. Still no spotting or bleeding...We did get a printout of our little "circle" baby lol - if I can figure out how to scan and stuff, I'll psst it.

Dnikki - That is a great number!  Congrats! :)  Just take it easy.  As you said the ultrasound was done really early so it is hard to determine exactly what is going on in there.  But those numbers tell a wonderful story!  Take it easy and I'm sure your numbers will at least double by Friday.

dnikki- I am sooo happy things went ok for you. Your number is great and I am sure Friday's will be AWESOME also!

mommyin10- I am glad that the lupron was easy for you! Hopefully you will not have any side effects from it.

I had my E2 checked this morning for the first time since starting stims (2 nights). I should be getting a call from my nurse sometime between 3 & 5. I expect it to be closer to 5! As for my injection sites..... red & VERY tender. The shot itself doesn't hurt; it's the site that hurts the next day. I have an appt. tmw. AM with RE for b/w and u/s. I will have the nurse take a look to make sure what I am experiencing is normal. Although, I have heard that redness is very common with Repronex.

How are those injections coming along?

dnikki- Great numbers.. Its very early to actually see anything on a U/S. So relax and expect great news!

AFM- Still researching my options.. still don't have my records from my incompetent re's office. 2 weeks of waiting... They had the nerve to tell me that they had to wait for the Dr. to authorize the release of my records. They swear im going back for another round.

Guesito: Thanks :-) You know, you can turn in your RE's office to HIPPA. That will def. get their butts moving lol..You have the right ot walk in and say you want copies ahanded over right now and they have to do it...Just a piece of info that I thought may come in handy lol...

mommyin10... yeah it is tough but you do what you have to do.... the other kids are adjusting to him although when he wakes up crabby they are not too happy with it... he still isnt sleeping real well at night unless he is laying next to me, but hopefully i can slowly get him to sleeping in his crib, he sleeps in there about 2-3 hours each evening/night so we are on the right track...lol

will keep ya posted

Dnikki:  Yay, those are great numbers! =)  That's great you'll go back on Friday.  I'm sure you'll feel a bit relieved when they continue to rise.

rachjas:  What is a normal E2 level?  Did you have side effects from the Lupron?  I can't remember...  I'm hoping at least I don't get nauseous 'cause we're heading off on a boat to go fishing tomorrow night. (fingers x'd!)   Best wishes tomorrow!  Grow, Follies, Grow!!! =)

guesito:  I've only done one Lupron injection so far... so far, so good! =)  Geez, what a pain in the a$$ your RE's office is being.  I agree with dnikki.  They should hand them right over.  Good luck!

Joyce:  Yay, 2-3 hours is a great start ;-)  I'll have to check & see if you posted new pics...

I'm just checking in to see how everyone is doing! As for myself....I think this is going to be a delayed cycle. I haven't used OPK's or anything, but usually after O, my BB's get sore, and nothing has happened yet. So I don't know what to think. I got a really nice gift in the mail the other day. When I got my BFP in April, my Aunt started a baby blanket, but then when I lost it, she wasn't going to finish it or anything til later because she didn't want to upset me.....but with her health and all I told my mom that she could... So I got it and it's soo cute!!! Now I just can't wait to use it!! :)

dnikki ~ Those are great numbers!!!! I hope that after the next U/S and B/W everything will be at ease!!!

I also just wanted to welcome the newbie's! This is the best thread ever!!! So much great support!!!

I wish everyone luck!!

mommyin10... yes it is a great start... thanks for the comments on my pics.. i will get some new ones of daniel today and hopefully get them posted... he is 3 weeks old today... WOW it is going by so fast. i hate seeing it go by this fast though... the tiny helpless stage just sooo does not last long enough...lol... and i am already missing feeling him move inside me, but i wont be having anymore... he took too much of a toll on my body and i just dont think i could go through it again. 4 csections are more than enough...lol

last night with getting up once... he slept til about 1AM (when i went to bed) in his crib, but as soon as i laid my head down he was up... go figure.... i REALLY REALLY need to get into the habit of sleeping when he sleeps... but being by myself there is so much to get done... laundry, dishes, ect... who really can make time for naps??? i know i should be napping but doesnt mean that i CAN nap...lol

anyhow i really hope that everything is going well for everyone.. so sorry for those that AF showed her ugly face to... and i will keep you all in my prayers and thoughts... SSBD coming your way.

hugs and luv to you all as well

Good morning everyone.

Anna and Aiden are doing great. DH and I are doing great.  Everything is actually going really well.  I feel like my hormones are on overload right now.  I was watching So You Think You Can Dance last night and I cried like a baby during a few of the dances.  Hormones all over the place.  ha ha.  AF is kicking my butt now.  Super super super heavy and the clots have started back up. I talked to my dr yesterday and he said to see what happens over the weekend. So if it doesn't lighten up or stop by Monday morning..I'll probably be going back in.

We're not doing u/s this cycle.  This one is just kind of to get started into the process again.  DH and I aren't expecting anything this cycle.  It's just a starting place for us.  But who knows.

I had a serious temp drop this morning.  Not sure what that's about.  Hmm.

Anyway..I've got a ton of work to catch up on today. I'll write again later. I promise!

By the way...thanks for all the photo comments!

mommyin10 - How are you feeling?  Hope you guys have a great trip!  What a nice little getaway.  Have fun!

Keyan - Hope you are having a good week.  It's always hard going back to work after some time off.  That would be great if this cycle would end in a BFP, but at this point, it's just hard to imagine.  Thanks for your good wishes!!  Oh, and thanks for the message.  It means so much to me, and I will definitely respond soon.  You're the best.  :)

luvkayln - I love the Father's Day card idea.  I think that's perfect to have it waiting there for him, he's going to be so touched.  Sorry your tests didn't come back perfect, but thank goodness it's an easy fix.  It's great that your doctor is taking such wonderful care of you.

Stacey - Hope you've gotten a chance to rest.  So exciting that Jake's room is coming together, I can't wait to see the pictures!  That is wonderful that DH will be able to take a few weeks off with you after he's born.  It will be great bonding time for you 3.  After all you've both been through, you deserve to enjoy it!

pyar - It sounds strange to say this, but I'm so happy AF is on the way!  Such great news that your body is getting back on track.  That has to be a big relief.  Now hopefully you can relax and a BFP will be on the way soon!  :)

Guesito - I agree with the others.  I actually work in healthcare and under the HIPAA law, you have a right to request your records and the doctor shouldn't have to "approve" anything.  Did they have you fill out some type of record release form?  If you've requested it and signed off on it, they have to comply.  I bet if you start throwing around some legal terms, they'll listen!

rachjas - So sorry you're a little sore from the shots.  Good luck with your u/s.  Hope you see lots of follies!
Joyce - I already commented on your pics, but I just have to say again that little Daniel is so adorable!  I'm sure he is fitting right in with the rest of the family and feeling so much love!  I can only imagine how busy you are, but I hope you are able to get some rest soon.  Take care of yourself.

ad_06 - Good luck this cycle, hope you O soon!  That is so sweet about the baby blanket.  I think it was a good idea to have her finish it and now you'll always have that special gift from her.  You will definitely get to use it!  :)

mrspace - I looked at your pictures and both the baby and the puppies are so adorable!  I hope little Aiden's dad starts appreciating him, what a blessing!  I had to laugh about the puppies with the food all over the floor.  It makes me think way back to when Nittany was a puppy and he would be so excited when we fed him, he would just go crazy and the food would be flying everywhere!  How are you feeling?  How is the clomid treating you?

As a sidenote, I know this has nothing to do with TTC, but I could really use your prayers!  About 10 years ago, I had to have spinal fusion surgery.  I never had any problems, but every once in a while, my one shoulder blade would hurt if I overdid it.  No big deal, I'd rest, and it would go away.  On Sunday, we were throwing the football around with our friends kids and ever since, my shoulder blade has been causing me unbearable pain.  I have a call into my back doctor, but they need to get his permission to make an appt for me since he's with a children's hospital.  Ugh.  In the meantime, advil only lessens the pain, I've tried ice and heat and pain creams and have been trying to take it easy, but it's awful!  Can barely stand to sit in my chair and work and it even hurts when I lay down.  So sorry to vent, but I'm just scared and have been in tears every day.  I just pray it's nothing serious.  Thanks for listening.  :)

mommyin10- I really didn't have any side effects from Lupron... when I stopped the BCPs and was on the Lupron by itself I started get a dull, but constant headache. I am not sure if it was from the Lupron or not. Honestly... I have no clue was a 'good' E2 should be. I know at the end of stimming... most RE's want the E2 to be 200-300 for each mature follie... but that varys greatly!

candie- I am so sry you are in pain! I hope you can get something to help you out SOON!

EVERYONE- Thank you soo much for the 'grow' wishes. Please keep it up! E2 came back at 273 today. My u/s showed 5 or 6 follies on my right side and 7 or 8 on my left. They are all pretty smalle still. I am to stay on the same dosage for the next 3 nights. I go back for more b/w and an u/s Sunday @ 10:30!

hello everyone

sorry i have been incommunicado. thanx for all ur well wishes, ur all so sweet. well here's what happened. when i got the number 1466 (my husband called up the lab coz he cudnt wait until after work to collect the report) i called up the lab myself and told them abut my blood work of 13th June which was just 1.39. and then THEY were confused. coz hcg doesnt go up that quickly.

so i asked them if this no. was accurate and tey said yes. when i asked them a second time, they weren't so sure. so then they took down my phone no and told me they'd call me after they run the sample a second time.

so i waited another couple of hours and they called back with the same no. 1466. they told me to call the dr coz tht was definately a positive.

but i cudnt believe it so i took an HPT. tht was positive too. but i was cramping SO BAD by then. i caled my doc and she started me on Duphaston immediately, told me not to move around much and to not freak out if at all i bleed.

and then, lo and behold, in the night i started to bleed and i FREAKED out. im usually a very cool headed person and everyone says im the best person to have around in crisis situations. i mean im the one who gives CPR and all that. but i seriously freaked out.

my doc had already gone to bed, i guess, coz she didnt answer her phone. so i lay very still and waited out the night. in the morning, i called my doc and she said to come in immediately.

i did. she said there r 3 possibilities: a normal preg a tubal preg or a missed preg. she told me to check two consecutive hcg's 48 hrs apart from the same lab and if it doubles, it's fine.

so im waiting for my blood work results to come in. she asked me to check my thyroid function too  and im showing a minor hypothyroidism.
ive checked last year, but it was normal.

so ive been on bed rest for the past 2 days until things r confirmed. we'll see what happens.

how r all of you doing? pyar i see ur bbt hasnt dropped.
i haven't read half the posts, will write soon.

take care, everyone. thanx again!

Hey gals:

Mommyin10: Have fun on your fishing trip :-)

Looloo: I hope things turn out good and you get a true BFP!! :-) Good Luck!!

I went in for another beta this morning so I should have the results around 10 or so...They should have gone up - I started having more symptoms like when I was p/g with DS. I felt aweful last night - Like I ate a ton but really didn't, and then my gums bled really bad last night while brushing my teeth before bed. They did that almost through my whole pregnancy with DS. It's gross but I guess a good sign lol. I'll check in periodically through today - we are having thunderstorm issues this morning lol and they are supposed to get bad this afternoon :-( Have a great day ladies!!!

Hugs, Love and SSBD to all :-)

Hey everyone.  I'm having an off day.  Just.... cranky I guess.

My in laws picked up their 2 puppies last night.  So we only have 3 left.  We have someone coming to see (and possibly buy) a puppy on Sunday, and another family on Monday.  So hopefully we will be puppy free in the next week.

I am working on a blanket for my mom and dad right now.  Work is slow and boring.

Af is kicking my butt.  TMI ALERT  ..... I've gone through a box of 40 ultra super plus tampons in 4 days.  That can't be good lol.  But the doctor said to wait til monday to see if it lessens.  It doesn't feel like it's lessening at all.  Oh well.

pyar- Lately I've had the problem of LONG periods, not the lack there of.  But when I started this TTC journey, I hadn't had AF in several months.  My doctor perscribed me with Provera to start AF. I would talk to your dr about it.  It worked like a charm.

nikki-  You know I"m so thrilled for you!!!  It's just such great news.

Okay..I'll try to get on here again later and write to everyone else....

Mrspace thank you I think i'll wait the weekend out and talk to my doc next week

Hannah how are you doing anything new with you I hope you're feeling well

mommyin10 the trial sounded like a good thing to do i have never heard of it before not sure if we do things like that in England.Enjoy your trip!

keyan thanks for your bfp wish for me but I really feel af is really nearly here and with the spotting i really don't think its a bfp dh and I hardly saw each other this month never mind anything else.

dnikki congrats great numbers

happy weekend everyone

Keyan- Thanks for the note! :) It just seems like each week is flying by! Dh had a good day yesterday! Although the heat index was 110 here, and he works outside with no a/c in his work truck... poor guy! :( Everytime I talked to him yesterday while he was at work, he souned exhausted! I know the heat can really affect you like that, especially when you're out there for 10 hours straight! But he was better when he got home! :) We didn't do anything special, just relaxed together! I'm thinking next weekend we'll go on a mini-camping trip together! We'll see though, the heat may be too much for me now! What's new with you?

Mommyin10- Hope you are having a great time on your fishing trip! :) I would love to be near the river right now! :) Unfortunately , I have to work another 10 hour day today, and tomorrow, but I'm off on Father's Day so that's good! :) Hopefully the lupron isn't treating you horribly today since you're out there on the boat in the heat! Guess what? I have to wear my first pair of maternity pants to work today so far with this baby! :) I'm still wearing my regular shirts, so I  can show off the belly, of course! ;) Will you be home tomorrow?

Candie- Oh no, that sounds horrible! :( My mom has something wrong with her shoulder too, and if she moves it a certain way it really knocks the wind out of her! I know the doctor has her do excercises for it, and even though it's painful for her, it's really helping out in the long run. Maybe once your doctor gives you some medicine, they can give you some easy excercises to do to start helping with the pain. Good luck, and of course we'll all be thinking about you!

Pyar- I agree with Keyan, that it may be a BFP in store for you!!! Have you tried testing?? I know I spotted at 7dpiui with this little one! ;) Do you normally spot like this before AF is supposed to be here? I know you had spotting issues last cycle, but we werent' even sure when you ovulated, so I think this is a whole different ball game!! Good luck and keep us posted! ;)

looloo- Ooh, sorry about the spotting/cramping! But don't worry, that is so common in early pregnancy! I did the exact same thing with our daughter!! Hang in there though, and definately stay on bedrest until you are cleared otherwise! It really sounds like a true BFP, your numbers are great! I'm just sorry that everyone is so confused about what's going on! That's frustrating!! :( Thanks for the update, and we'll all definately be thinking about you!!!

Dnikki- Congrats on the great number! :) That's about what my levels were at when I had my first u/s! :)

Rachjas- Congrats on your E2 levels!! It definately sounds like your follies are cooperating! That's a lot!!! :) You'll be amazed on Sunday how much bigger they're all going to be! :)

Stacey- Happy 29 weeks! Gosh, it seems like your pregnancy is still flying by! :) I hope mine continues to go that way too! :) I've been listening to my h/b monitor SO much now! I'm almost out of u/s gel, lol! :) I ordered more though, plus all I got with the monitor was a little packet. It's still high everytime, never less than 160 so either it's a girl, or a very active boy! ;) I'm dying to know! lol ;)

Mrspace- Sorry AF is still giving you a hard time! How annoying!! Hopefully it'll lessen up soon and you can get on with your cycle! So you're not doing u/s this cycle, but if it fails, then  you will next? What about an iui? They really don't cost much, and it's worth it b/c they work! ;) But, so does the old fashion way too, I have pregnancies from both experiences to back that up! lol ;) Good luck with everything though! Should I say a cheer to make AF slow down now??! She heard me last time! lol ;)

ad_06-How sweet about the baby blanket from your aunt! I'm sure it was still hard to get it, but I know you were very touched by it at the same time! You'll have a baby soon to put in it! :) What's going on with your cycle? Do you know when you ovulated? You didn't do the femara this time, did you?

Anywho, hope everyone has a great day today! I'm working 2-midnight tonight (Rehersal dinner, then we have to set up for a wedding tomorrow!) and I'm working 3-9 tomorrow, so that's not too bad! At least I can sleep in! :) And trust me, I will! lol :) I'm ironing my clothes for tomorrow so I can sleep until 2 if I want! :) I'm getting excited for my u/s on Tuesday! Can't wait to see how much bigger the baby has gotten! :)

luvkayln- thanks for the support!  We are going to do clomid for 6 months, and if we have no luck with that, then we'll talk about IUI.  My dr thinks that the only problem was that I wasn't diagnosed and made aware of my actual issues.  With my unbalanced FSH and LH hormones, and PCOS....that's a huge thing.  So he thinks that now that we're getting my hormones regulated, clomid will work.  We may need a higher dose.  But he says: If at first you don't succeed...try try again.  So that's what we're doing for now.  As far as I know, we'll be monitoring (progesterone and u/s) next cycle.

Mrspace- Oh, that makes sense! :) Well hopefully it'll work the first time, and you don't have to worry about getting a higher dose! :) What are you on now, 50mg? That's what they put me on for my first cycle on it, then they upped it to 100mg. I really think the clomid would've worked for me if I would've gotten my tubes flushed a long time ago! Oh well... there's a reason I had to wait, and I'm glad it took a little while just b/c of Kayln, ya know? You just had a dye test done recently, right? Maybe with the close monitering and everything, things will happen quickly for you! ;) Now that you've gotten good homes for most of all  Kya's puppies, now you'll have more time to concentrate on ttc again! Good luck! I'll have to help keep a close eye on your charts with ya! ;)

Guesito- Sorry you're so frustrated! :( I can only imagine how stressful this is all on you! If I were you, I'd just call over and over and over! How annoying and rude they're being! :(

Well girls, gotta go to work! I'm feeling super nauseated...! Hopefully it doesn't last all night! ;) Sean called me and I told him that, and he's like " have you listened for the h/b lately?" It's so cute how he's so worried, I'm like " Babe, it's normal to feel that way! :)" But I did listen this morning, just because it reassures me that baby is OK! :) Hope you all have a great weekend! I'll try and check in tomorrow, if I'm not too pooped! :)

Luvkayln ~ No I didn't do Femera. Re told me to take 2 cycles off after my M/C. So I am waiting to get AF with a week or so. I think this cycle is going to drag along, because I usually get sore bbs after O, and I haven't had that yet....so I don't know. I haven't used OPK's or doing BBT, it's just nice to relax a little. But I am super anxious to go back to my RE!! It might be a while with the $, but I'll go back soon enough. I am so glad that you are in your 2nd trimester!!!! :) Well I've had a long day, so I am heading to bed!! Talk to you soon!

Pyar: well I am sorry about AF but glad she didn't keep you waiting too long. Hopefully this next cycle will bring you a BFP!!

Luvkayln: YES YES!! you are on your second trimester...congrats!! the camping trip sounds like a great idea, but just be carefull with the temperature and stay hydrated. Poor Sean working in such a hard weather...here it doesn't get that high, and I still feel awful when we are outside, so I can't imagine how it must feel where you live. say my congrats to Sean for Fathers Day!! Hope you have a great day tomorrow. Let us know what you ended up doing with his present.

Dnikki: Congrats on your numbers!! Your u/s is comming up soon...good luck!!

Rachjas: Good luck tomorrow!!

Candie: Hope you feel better soon!!
