Calling all TWW - what is your plan???

Okay... all those in or close to the tww, what is your game plan this cycle?  

When are you gonna start POAS or are you going to wait it out?????

My RE told me if AF doesn't come to show up on the 29th for a beta test... That isn't until 16dpiui..

I think I plan to start POAS around day 9 or 10??  That is Aug 22 (fri) and 23 (sat).  

What are your plans???  

How do you cope best??

Oh it is so great to have you back Hannah!  I am in the tww, too! Yay! Our 1st wait together in a loooong time :)  I said I was going to hold out til 13dpo, but I know I'm lying as sure as I am breathing, he he he. Probably 10dpo will be my first one, then every day after. Of course if I get some radical temp spike and it stays up, I will test even earlier *blush*

Well, I am 1 DPO and I plan on waiting until Aug 28th, that is AF due date and 14 DPO, then if nothing happens I will test. Meanwhile I'm just going nuts already analyzing it all...LOL. Even think my boobs are getting sore...LOL Man, I'm going nuts already!!!!

I am  3 - 4 DPO, I think. BBs are super sore, but that happens in the TWW anyway, I just don't remember them being this sore. We didn't try anything this cycle, just on our own.I am in the process of changing doctors, my 1st appt is the 19th.

I've thrown my TWW plan out the window and don't know what to do now: Normally I chart, grit through the TWW by refusing to allow myself to POAS till 13dpo by which point AF always arrives.  This month, I've taken a break from charting.  So, I don't know precisely when I O'ed.  I've surpassed my normal 24-28 day cycle and am on CD32 today with no sign of AF.
I did break my elbow and sprain my wrist before my last cycle ended and have wondered if the stress from that caused me to O later this month.  Regardless, I've POAS'ed twice already and gotten the good old familiar: Two BFN's.  
I had all but given up hope but this morning, when I rolled over onto my stomach, the pain in my bb's woke me up out of a deep sleep.  My bb's normally are sore but not this sore.  So who knows! I'm trying to hold of POAS for a few more days but it is ridiculous torture.
Tanker, Tina and Hoping: I hope all you ladies get your sticky bean at the earliest day possible.  I hear your blush - I hate testing earlier than 13dpo - but I always do because it's an extra day we'd all get to spend with our little bean.  How can any good Mom resist the temptation!  Good luck!

POAS is peeing on a stick....  It is like potato chips, once you start it is hard to stop!! :)  Speaking of chips, I'm hungry :)

it is so nice to go through this wait with you ladies... funny how we all handle it differently.. some wanna wait it out, while others wanna know as soon as possible either way... The two times I got BFPs, I remember a noticeable increase in thirst.. so far I'm just my usual dehydrated self. :)

LOL... Well my BBs are probly always sore around O and I'm just noticing this time more...LOL. They're aren't too sore, just something I've noticed. But yes, it's nice to dream. I'm trying to stay as busy as I can so that I don't talk myself in to POAS too early. It's hard though, I have 3 in there waiting for that Golden Stream.....LOL I get excited, then I get scared. I keep telling myself there is no pressure because I do have 3 Little Snow Angels waiting for me. I just can't afford to go get them right now. I have not noticed any change in my thirst either, but now everytime I get a drink I will think of that...LOL

i'm joining Luci and Kelly and seeing how things work out for ya, Hannah and tina and all others!  It's seems like yesterday - this time last year I was in the tww also - we did the beta on the 24th - wow does time fly!

Dh told me today that we should wait on donating our embies until we were sure that we weren't going to do a FET - WHAT??  He said we need to keep our options open - if so, we shouldn't wait too long, I guess but I'm in no way ready like you guys for another baby but I did love being pregnant so I wish everyone lots of magical SSBD!

I totaly agree w/ your hubby. My hubby and I have 3 frozen embies right now but can't afford to go get them. So we are trying naturaly while we save up. We have discussed what we would do if we did get PG and decided we would wait until the baby is at least a year old before we would donate them. You just never know how you will feel in a year. Plus, you may never get as good quality again, because as we age our quality drops.

hey ladies, I know it's too soon, but I wnated to run something by you. I was told the follicle was on my right side, well today I have pain off and on on that side. SUggestions as to what it could be???? O test was neg today.

Corpus luteum (sp?)... it is what is left after the egg is released from the follicle, and I believe that is what produces the progesterone until the baby gets to like 10 or 12 weeks or something like that... I'm going off of memory so I might not have all the details exactally right...

I think that could be a very good sign... I had that when I was pg with my son :)  It was like a low grade ache...

Okay funny girl, lets remember that 22month old was pushing A REAL BABY IN THAT STROLLER :) a 3 month old, ha ha ha... (plus, I haven't gotten AF yet, hee, hee). I'm on a serious diet right now! I mean serious. I have got to get some kind of Bod back before I abuse it again. I'm not going to lie....I did buy 70 OPK's online (oops!) BUT just because I thought I'd find out when I'm ovulating before my first AF..if that makes sense. I guess you "O" before the first AF, so I  can use it as a tool to get pregnant or prevent it. I am 13 1/2 weeks PP right now and w/dd I got AF 16 weeks PP.. My OB would drop dead if I walked in there pregnant so soon again.  I'm treating pregnancy like it's my job, I love it! I don't know what it is about being pregnant that makes me feel so special. I mean, I'm the absolute nastiest person alive for the first couple months :0) SOOOO for now I will focus on my friends Hannah and Tina! I might need to contact Tina so I can meet up w/her in Daytona to have a last BEER with her before she gets her BFP!!!

Kellym: My 2 kids are 14 months apart and it wasn't so bad. ;) So, if you feel like giving it a go, I say go for it!!!!! I was even on BC after I had my daughter, so you could imagine my suprise when I learned I was PG when she was just 6 months. Total shock. But it all worked out good, and I always thought I wanted 2 more just as close in age as they are. They are now 13 & 14....Teens....URGH

Hey guys, so I think I am right at O. Had a u/s this am Doc said my follicle was a great size, he said somthing like 19, he measured it three different ways and that was the avrg.of the three, anyways he said it looked ready any minute, my smiley test put me pos. last night, neg. tonight, and my monitor never showed a thing, stupid monitor! So we'll see what that says in the am, I go back tomarrow morning to check my follie again to see if O actually occured I guess. I will be testing like next week if I find out that sucker has already been released! :)

Hi Ladies, I too am the ttw, I think that I am just going to hang in there until the 28th when I go get my HCG preg test. I must admit that I am driving myself nuts. I am 3 days post IUI and I have never been known to be patient when it comes to waiting. DH says to relax and pray. Best of Luck to all of you and I will keep all in my prayers.

LOL... Yes, my oldest is just turning 13 and is aproching the abnoxious stage. As for my daughter she just turned 14 and is very mouthy and snooty. But I found today I have the upper hand. Hi, I am 4 dpo today according to my chart.  It is weird cuz I usually "O" around cd 27.  I'm not going to do anything special this time, just tring to relax. (yea right) figured I would start testing next saturday.

So glad that you're back!  I hope I'm not too late to join in on your tww list.  I've been having computer issues.

Here's my stat's...I am 3dpiui w/mild symptoms.  I had the procedure done on 8/15@11am.  For the first time I recieved a shot of Novadrel(sp) and can I just say...OUCH!  That sucker hurted me for 2 days on the bump.  My RE decided to do something different this cycle.  He started me w/150 of follistim for about 12 days.  My follies measured 16, 18, 21 on the R-side w/good tube and 2 16s on the L-side.  Re gave me the shot and 24hrs later did the iui.  He said he wanted the sperm to be waiting for the release of the egg.  DH count was 47milli...I hope that's a good thing!  But my question is this.  I don't feel like I've O'd when I was given the shot.  RE said 36hrs I will have O'd but I didn't get the usual twinges like I do to assure me that it's happening.  Can anyone please calm my nerves.  The only symptoms I have now so far is alot of gas, bloating and mild cramps which I am sure is from the Hcg shot.  My bb's arent too bad but I do tweek them every now and then to see if they are sensitive...I sound like a complete freak don't I...lol!  We'll any suggestions and advice will gladly be acceptede.

PW- I always get that O sore feeling the day after the shot also.  Not including this cycle I have had IUI 3X, always 36hr after shot... I got BFP twice so I really believe the 36hr is the right timing.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you... Best of luck and glad you are with us in the TWW.

I'm too whiney to even want to test, I have been a cry baby 2day :-( whats up with that? I know its too early and I would just cry! I cried 2day b/c while I was buying crickets at the pet store for my kids lizard I found a puppy that I wanted, so like a little kid I called the hubby and begged! He said no. Well only b/c its $800.00 & we are leaving for the beach in like 4 days! But I cried cuz I really wanted it! We have 2 already, if you've seen my pics, they are just like my kids, but we just bought an English Masstiff 6 months ago, so Its not like I need another dog, but it was a minerature schnauzer just like my other dog, only male, and black. I really wanted him, I am such a DORK! Anyways I just feel like he is sad in that old cage, and I need to rescue him!!! You'll probly see pictures of him in 2 weeks on my pic list of my "new" puppy! LOL We will see HEHEHE

*sigh*  i've noticed i've been the bearer of bad news here lately, and i hate doing it.  it IS possible to get a positive opk w/o actually ovulating.  i'm not saying you didn't, just a possibility since your bbt's are so weird.  i suggest ringing your doc in the morning just to run your temps by him/her and ask if there's a good reason they would be static like that.  i HOPE i'm wrong.  :D  but, i add things like this in the hope that we can find what's wrong faster so you can get that BFP.  SSBD!

kikicoates78-I've never heard of using an OPK to be used as a HPT.  I thought the two looks for two different types of hormones!  You're right about learning something new all the time!  It just so happens that I have 1 OPK left...what the heck I'll try it....there goes my junky syndrome again...lol!

PhenomenalWoman- I read that the OPK looks for the LH which is looks like the HCG. SO it will not give a BFP as soon as the HPT because it needs more of that hormone.

K ladies, all this talk of O and not sure if we have O'd is effecting me. Lsst night I had a dream that I went to have another U/S and it must have been a good one, because I could see the few spermies that were left in there waiting and could see my egg sittting on the opposit side of my uterus and that the egg had just been released......LOL. I was upset because it was no where near the spermies.

I won't test with opk, cuz mine are too much $$$$$! I love my $ tree hcg tests, no seriously, I really think they are pretty sensitve, I got a positve the same day as my FR positive! I unfortunatly m/c but I still tested everyday, even my last beta was like 30 and my $ tree still showed positive for 2 more days - thats pretty sensitive! The sad thing is I tested like a million time cuz I couldn't believe it, I thought I had thrown them all away after the bad news, but a few months ago I was vaccuming out the couch cushens in the den, and found a test shoved down in it, I cried all over again :( But thats ok cuz I'll see another BFP REAL SOON!

I will test early so when I see the BFN I can say its just too early, also it helps me take the blow a little better if on 13dpo, I still see a stinkin BFN. because last time I did IVF they told me it was BFN, and I got fluid and it turned out to be BFP. Now I checked yesterday and it was not there. So, to me it is a sign, unless there is another reason ,I never realy checked anyother time....LOL.... I guess I should mroe often....LOL

Ok, guys. Where are we at? I'm still gassy, breasts are fuller and alittle sore, don't even have to push on them anymore. No longer getting colostrum. Peeing alot last night, but I'm very dry, no CM. :( I'm officialy in the PMS mark, so from this point on, I can just sum it all up to that, but I have decided to give in and test tomorrow. 2 of the tests I have said you can test as early as 6-8DPO and they detect a level as low as 20. SO, I will use one tomorrow and get it out of the way, then maybe I can stop driving you all crazy......LOL

Well, im no where near ovulation but i came up with a plan that may help the ladies who is days post ovulation, im sitting here with AF (CD3) and im trying to find a way to strangle her, i think i may be able to do it.  That way,  WE ALL GET FREE BFP'S:)

K, just got home from work. BBs are definatley more sore, but now I'm at PMS stage. My mouth has been watering more today, and this morning something felt different. I couldn't quit put my finger on it, I wasn't sick or tired. Still no CM. :( I will test tomorrow, then wait until AF is late.

lol, you all are torturing each other.  sorry for the BFNs.  It IS still early, though...that just means you didn't implant at 6dpo...One comment, I tested neg. 8dpo morning and pos in the evening.  i was too anxoius to use FMU...i had already tested about 5 or 6 times, and then i saw the SLIGHTEST line...lol.  Took another, another REALLY faint line.  i was all smiles that night.  just to let you know that at ANY time, it could turn pos.  ha, now that i dropped that seed, let the compulsive POAS marathon begin, lol.

K guys, I realy did to myself now. I went back and pulled my test out of the trash for what ever reason and saw a very faint line. Very faint, can't even get it on camera. So I wipped out the DIgital and said NOT PREGNANT, so now I'm off to buy loads and loads of tests......DAMIT, I wil lbe testing my brains out now...hee hee

Hi all!! So I haven't O'd yet. I'm going for my u/s on Sunday hopefully my triggers. So I will be on the Tww with you all. Actually you will all have BFP!!!! And then I'll be the one in your shoes. I spoke with a family friend yesterday who works in a OB/gyn's office and she said i can't think about it too much. We are driving ourselves crazy and we are stressing ourselves out. We have to relax in order to have BFP!!!!! So now, I'm just staying clam and trying not to think about it. Even though it's hard, but mind over power!!!!!!!!

Ok so I am 7 DPO, and tested this morning.  I got a BFN!  I also have creamy white CM.  What does this mean?  I was kind of emabarassed to ask the other day, but since you were talking about it anyway.

You guys should have seen me @ Walgreens. I had 3 women trying to help me find the best test to use so early. One just had a baby, one pharmasist, and the cashier in the makeup Dept.....LOL> Finaly ended up w/ First Response Gold. I will TRY to wait until Sunday at least before I test again, but I'm having AF pains now, so probly was all in my head. Even though I showed DH when he got home and he said he saw it. I showed him 2 tests, one had it the other didn't he picked the right one and showed me how on the edge you could see the color even better. BUT I"M CRAMPING!!!! Is that normal, if I'm PG? Also my areolas are bigger today. Man, I hate this so much. I will be crying by the end of the night.

Hoping--- I would love to see even the faintest line, and don't lie you will test in the am with fmu! LOL  I just got back from the Wal-mart, god I hate that store! It has a way of taking all my money! Anyways I just bought the FR GOLD too! We will get our BFP's with those ones for sure! They should come with a complimentary baby for as expensive as they are! (hehe)

It means like spermies w/ 2 heads and such. The higher the number the fewer that have it. It's backwards. I'm trying not to test in the AM, but you are probly right. I will for sure Sunday if not in the AM. Of coarse the women at Walgreens told me I shouldn't look at it after and hour.

Well I knew that about the 2 heads or 2 tails and stuff, I was just confused on why reference was 4% and she 11% was great, maybe she said 40% was refernce so 11% is great, now I'm second guessing myself! LOL I guess I will wait and ask him when I see him next!  Well of course they are gonna tell u that its what the package said, but I did hear if they are upside down in the trash it can cause falsies it happened to my girlfriend, Ive never even seen one after 3 days in the trash!

Well, I have a freind who took a test at her sis' and it was neg. She threw it away and stayed for an hour then left. Later that night her sis called and asked why she didn't tell her she was PG. It was BFP. She now has a 5 yr old boy. That's why I always go back and check. I've never seen a faint line before. But I know it can happen, so I will wait for the BFP, or AF which ever I get.

Hello ladies! This is actually my 2nd 2ww for the month.

My last AF was July 18th and she was due again on Aug. 17th. Instead of AFshowing on the 17th i actually ovulated. I had lots of EWCM for about 2 days. I didn't even know that i could ovulate that late in my cycle! I have been going through alot stress lately so that is probably the reason why. So i am due to test again on the 1st. of Sept, I have been feeling sick for the past couple of days. My stomach has been upset, my boobs have been very tender, and my throat has been hurting for about 2 days!?! I hope that this it for me.....It is very stressful to see a BFN every month!

To all the ladies tat have gotten BFN's- I'm sending babydust for next month!

Hello ladies. How are all of you? I'm confused and would like any help you have to offer. I had my 2nd IUI on 8/14 and I don’t feel so great about things. I never had a normal cycle, so I don’t know how long mine is. I usually have to take Provera to jump start my cycle. Here is where I’m at now:

7/26 - got AF
7/28 – 8/1 - took Clomid
8/6 - follicle study
8/8 - follicle study
8/11 - follicle study
8/12 - Ovidrel trigger shot
8/14 - IUI
8/21 - bloodwork

My progesterone is 9.8. My doctor’s office said they would like it to be closer to 20 and had me make an appt. for 8/26 to talk to my Dr about increasing the Clomid dose, etc – that sounds to me like I’m not pregnant! Right!?! I asked the nurse practitioner that was on the phone and she said that that’s not true. It’s too early to tell whether or not I’m pregnant. What do you think? Why is my progesterone so low? What does that even mean? Any ideas…good luck to all of you!!!

As much as I love this site, it is like crack.  I just started several days ago, and I check it several times a day.  It is great to have people that can relate to what you are going through, but almost creates anxiety for me.  I can't figure out if I would test b4 while i was in my 2ww.  I am still trying to figure out the acronyms.  Still not sure about the BFP, and BFN.  I know one is neg and one is pos, but what are the first 2 letters?  I know I want a BFP!!!!!  LOL!

Why did they test you so early? It hasn't even been 10 days. The BETA will tell you if you're PG. The progesterone supports pregnancy and so they would want it at 20 to in case, but why doesn't he just up your progesterone dosage now?

They took blood 7 days after my IUI to check my Progesterone...I think!  I asked them about a progesterone shot, but they said not now or it's too early or something like that.  Do you think I could still become pregnant with such a low progesterone level?  P.S.  I'm hoping for 2 too!

I don't know if you could get PG w/ it that low or not. It sounds like the nurse has not thrown in the towel so that's a good thing. I think it ahould go up on it's own if you get PG. Did your DR tell you if or when he will start you on it? I've never done IUI just IVF.

AUNTDD~ I have been dizzy for 3 days now! I asked earlier on the thread about it, I'm kinda excited you have it too! COULD be a good sign, I was dizzy with my youngest son, but it was later in the PG. I would black out,usually in the shower-if it was hot, but its been soooooo long I don't remember if I was dizzy in early pregnancy.

HOPING- I always check mine too! I try to leave them facing up, so I just have to glance! Now somebody on here along the way has me takining them apart, I can't remember what thread it was on! LOL  I really do hope we see our BFP soon!

ALBABY2~There is a page that has all the shorthand and what they are, I found it most helpful! But poas was not on there, I had to ask, peeing on a stick...duh... It was the last thing I would have thought of! :) Good luck to all of us crazy women! LOL

No, they didn't say anything about starting it.  They made me an appt for 8/26 though to discuss a higher dose of Clomid which could help with the progesterone...which is making me feel not so confident...just having the appt made makes me feel that there's a reason for it...no BFP in the near future maybe

We didn't try IUI first because my RE said my husband has clumping issues and so it would be a waste of money and time. But lately I have been researching it and I read that it is not a waste. HE also said I had no chance of conceiving naturaly, but what I read says I have less than 10% but there is still a chance. I'm hoping to prove him wrong this month.

I just have a question.  I am now 7dpiui now.  I took a digital HPT 4dpiui to check and see if the HCG were still there.  Of course came up +.  5dpiui I took another one to keep track of it being in my sytem and it was negative.  6dpiui I POAS once more (they came 3 in a pack) and it came up +.  I only did this to keep track of how long does the HCG actually stay in my systems because I know it's different for everyone.  My previous cycle I tested negative around 6 or 7.  The very 1st IUI I had that ended up in as a m/c I tested negative around 6dpiui and then positive 8dpiui.  What should I think?  I'm confused about this?  Anyone with some insight about this matter would be much appreciated.  Thanks!

Symptoms so far... sore BBs still and some fullness/bloating but not as bad as the previous days.  I've been waken up by sweats and I drink alot of water so I'm always backnforth to the bathroom.  Wishing U the best this cycle.

I can't wait to hear your good news. Just remember though if you do get a BFN on Monday it just means the HCG is out of your system, does not mean you are BFN for sure until 14DPIUI and you get BETA done.

I *think* I'm 6 dpo today, so count me in, if there's room for one more in this group!
Cramping today a little bit. Temps are crazy this month and I'm very unsure of everything.

I "say" I'm going to hold out and take a look at temps to make sure I really O'd when I think I did. Will probably cave and do a cheapie test on the 10-11th and if AF doesn't show next Sunday, will use the digital test. I got a free one with my clearblue digital OPKs this month! I was so excited. haha.

Well, I tested yesterday and used all 3 I had including the free digital I got w/ my OPKs. All neg except later I think I saw the faintest line. But could just be from letting them set for so long. SO, I bought 3 more and will test again tomorrow 10DPO, then probly again on Tues 12DPO and then if AF does not show up on Thurs I will test again on Frisay 15DPO...hee hee  I had said I would be good and wait but I just can't....LOL>

Hi All! I hope we have some BFP!!! But I was wondering, have any of you had to do Repronex injections? My u/s yesterday didn't go as well as I planned and my largest follicle was on my left ovary and it was 8mm. So my doctor said clomid won't work for me and I have to do injections. Oh gosh, it hurts so bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can anyone of you offer and advice?
