Can I still do a pregnancy tes????Please read

I  have posted some of my story before, I just started last month trying to get pregnant, I have PCO I don't really see my period unless with birth control pills, now Doctor prescribed me to start with femara 3-7 then I did the Ovidrel, I felt some symptoms, I thought since  I have PCO I was not worried about my period, but guess what I just got it yesterday, and the last time I got my period back in October I got it on the 24-25th, this time I got it on the 29th. Could I still check instances of pregnant? Can I do one of those test EPT while in my period? It was a surprise for me to have my period with no pills, unless the femara(letrozole) or ovidrel had some effects on it.  ADVICE please..I'm so impatient, I would love to have a baby. thanks
One more question. The doctor only gave me to take one shot of ovidrel, I have been reading forum, and some ladys are taking more than one. is that ok

I dont know anything about PCO but I dont think that you are pregnant if you are having a period. Mabie your body is having a period on its own. Ive been told that clomid and femara stays in your body for one month, so mabie thats why. Im not sure tho. Sorry I couldn't be more helpfull. Good luck.
